“No customer service!!! Dont shop here! Youve been warned!! I have odd-size feet so Im always on the lookout for places that I can buy New Balance shoes since they are the only company that makes athletic shoes to width. Peltz had a pair on New Balance walkers that I purchased in February of this year. I was initially very happy with the shoes, as I have been a loyal New Balance customer for many years. It was winter when I ordered the shoes, so even though several months had passed, the shoes had only been worn a handful of times when they started to come apart. I immediately contacted customer service and alerted them to the problem. They apologized for the defect and asked for me to send photos of the shoes, after which they asked me to call customer service directly. They explained that because of the age of the order they could not send me a shipping label and I would have to pay the cost of returning the shoes. Once they received the defective shoes, they said they would replace them or issue me a credit if they were no longer available. I promptly returned the shoes via USPS but did not hear anything back from Peltz Shoes, no replacement shoes, no refund, no phone call or email. After a month had gone by I contacted Peltz again. They confirmed that they had received the shoes, but because the order was more than 90-days-old there was nothing they could do. Since the order was more than 90-days-old at the time I contacted them about the defect, I asked why they would have me send the shoes back if they had no intention of replacing them due to the age of the order? They apologized and said that they didnt realize the age of the order when they told me to send them back for replacement, but they would be happy to return them to me, but I would again have to pay the shipping. Thats so rich! Not only do I not have a replacement set of shoes or a refund, but they want my credit card information so they can charge me to send the defective shoes back to me. What wonderful customer service!! I guess they thought better of it because they eventually sent the shoes back to me. I contacted New Balance directly and they gave me a full credit for the shoes. I am still a loyal New Balance customer but I would never do business with Peltz again. Consider yourself warned and use this merchant at your own risk! I should have stuck with Zappos or Joes New Balance! Not only will I never use this merchant and urge everyone I come in contact with to do the same, but I will urge all my friends in the Tampa area to avoid their retail stores as well!”

I have bought shoes here in the past they have always hurt my feet. I have taken them back before and they would not refund me, they so called stretched them. These shoes are in my closet and have been worn mabey twice. I should have known not to go back, but I did. I thought I could not go wrong with running shoes. I found some new balance that I liked. They were $80.00 I did not look in the box because I know what size fits me in these shoes. I have been wearing the same brand for years. Went to cash register had to wait at least 15 minutes to check out, due to the rude cashiers taking other customers that came after me first. Got home opened them and noticed that they had been worn before and returned. They looked a little worn for sure. I took them back the next day.. The manger gave me a ugly look. Also on the inside of the box, some had wrote returned 11/28/16. I can not believe someone had worn them and they for sure looked like it. Peltz put them back on the shelf and charged full price for them. Later that day I found the same shoe at another store for $44.95. This store is over priced and the people there do not appreciate your business and are rude. Never ever will I shop at this store again

I order shoes online through this company; however, it was canceled by them with no notification. I didnt received any emails from this company about the cancellation of the shoe I order because the size was not available. But, I did receive email promotions for this company. After 9 days of not receiving the shoe, I felt I should have a discount on priority shipping and not just the free standard shipping they automatically give. I was told by the phone associate that they didnt offer such a discount. I asked to speak to the manager whos attitude was less than helpful. She refused to give any discounts and told me that it was not their fault that I didnt receive their cancellation email. I was told to check SPAM to see if the email was there and it was not. I am not pleased by the service at all. I will NEVER order from this store again.

Took my 86 year old mother and my 22 year old niece here to do some shoe shopping today. Richard assisted us and helped us find the right sizes that really fit. My mom ended up with 4 pairs of shoes and she is difficult to fit with a narrow foot. My niece ended up with two pair and I ended up with a pair as well. Considering my niece and I really were not looking for shoes. I think we did well. I wear a size 11 and have lots of foot issues. I really appreciated the time Richard spent helping all of us. About half of the 7 pairs we bought were on sale as well. This has always been my go-to place for shoes and it will continue to be.

Perfect day to go shopping, it was downpouring all day and kind of dreary. I went into the Clearwater store today and it was great. Nice and clean and the staff certainly knows their shoes. Its not difficult for me to find shoe usually because Im a 10m but really finding something I like is difficult. They have a great mens selection, what brought me in was the ad in the Tampa Bay Times looking for a pair of dress shoes and surprisingly they still had them in stock! I thought I was pushing my luck, but they great and inexpensive.

I went shopping for Florida work boots or hiking boots with & for my teenage son. We went to Famous Footwear & Burlington Coat Factory first, looking for quality at a bargain but pickings were slim. We went to Peltz & found exactly what we were looking for in a Timberland work boot; top quality at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this store to others. The selection of shoes for men and women is vast. Expect to pay for the premium quality of their shoes; its well worth it. You get what you pay for.

I usually research a store prior to shopping for something I will get a ton of use. In this case I didnt. A shoe is a shoe..... right? The customer service is scarce, the staff has no knowledge of their product. Granted, its not really "theirs", but they should have some knowledge. If Im paying for an extreme markup I would expect service to match! Not going to shop here again.
