I purchased a $24 candle and it would not stay lit. I tried to exchange it about 45 days later for another one but they no longer carried the brand. I have purchased this brand and candle for years from HFH, so I know this was just a one time defect. They refused to give me a store credit even when I said I would purchase a more expensive candle and pay the difference. I didnt have my receipt but the candle still had the High Fashion Home sticker/barcode/price on the bottom. Obviously I purchased it from them and I am clearly not a thug that stole it. I spend over 5k there personally annually. I asked the manager if he really wanted to loose my business over $24 and he said "Yes" boastfully. He was clearly very upset he had to get up from his little tiny office to speak with me after he told his nice cashier to blow me off. What I didnt tell him was I work for a high end designer as a buyer and he lost a lot more than just my personal business. So if you are a regular customer, they are not willing to give you a credit for $24! They just lost my business to Kuhl Linscomb which wouldnt even blink twice exchanging a product that was defective. Bottom line, they sell you something they arent willing to stand behind and this was just a candle! I wouldnt spend my money here even though the sales team and staff are very helpful in textiles and furniture. The manager clearly cant see the forest through the trees and needs to go educate himself on customer satisfaction risk verses losses with potential profit for returns on items under $50. I can write the formula for him if he doesnt understand, but the calculus might be too advanced.

Ordered lots of furniture from here recently following a separation. Overall, quality is passable although furniture is slightly overpriced for what you would expect to pay for this level of furniture. My big issue has been with the professionalism of the staff. Service was inconsistent in the store but fair. Since then, it has been nothing but issues. My first two waves of furniture (some was delayed due to shipping from manufacturer) were never delivered until after I called them and reminded them of the order and that it needed to be sent out. (To be fair, the delivery guys were very professional). The last thing Im waiting on is a dining table. I was initially told it would be 3-4 weeks before it was available. It has been roughly a month so I called to check status and was told that it would be another 8-10 weeks. Im fine with manufacturing delays but I should have been notified of the change so I could have purchased a new table . Now Im a month out and need to go buy another dining room table and then await its delivery. Bought chairs to match the other table at a different store so may need to return them as well. Overall, it was unprofessional and could have been handled better. Ill not shop here again.

I am a designer and have tried to work with High Fashion on several projects. I have placed several orders with them and on several occasions they have messed up my order or delivery. When I work with the sales clerk, Jennie M, she writes up my order and then I take a pink sheet up to check out. I have now received 2 calls, one stating that the chairs I ordered are no longer available, but they can still get them, however, they will cost me $20 more per chair. On another order, my sheet clearly shows a chair that I ordered and signed stating that I paid for these items. Once the chair was delivered damaged, I receive an email a MONTH later stating that I had not actually paid for the chair. I look back at my receipt that I signed and it shows it on my receipt , but not in their system. I bill my clients off of the invoice that she wrote up and now I am told that I owe them $400 more if I want the chair. They are very hard to work with, when you place an order, it is VERY important that you review everything carefully or else they will come back and ask for more money!

I have never had a worse experience trying to purchase from a company than I have had with High Fashion Home. I ordered a very expensive Four Hands bed from their website, had it delivered and it was missing several pieces, no hardware and no instructions. I contacted them and they said that they would take care of it, but I needed to not only tell them what I was missing, but take pictures of everything that I actually received. I did this and explained what I was missing. After one week, they said they shipped the piece, two weeks later the piece arrived, was damaged and was the exact same piece that we already had and we are still missing several pieces, hardware and instructions. It has now been one month with an unusable bed and they have our money. I finally did a chargeback through my credit card company and am purchasing the bed for Four Hands themselves. Horrible, horrible experience. This company is 100% incompetent and dishonest and they should really be reimbursing me for my valuable time that I have spent trying to get their mess figured out.

High Fashion offers an extensive collection of home furnishings that caters to a wide variety of tastes. What also sets them apart from other furniture stores is the customer service experience. We’ve purchased from High Fashion before, but were very impressed with our recent experience. Dropping by their tent sale, we expected it to be chaotic given the event. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the contrary. They had all hands on deck helping out with the event, resulting in a constant flow and selection of items with little or no wait times for purchase and delivery setup. Jeff was super swamped running the show, yet he always took the time to address our questions, providing us with guidance and great suggestions. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we were more than satisfied with our multiple purchases. Jeff’s got a great team supporting him—everyone from Courtney who coordinated our delivery to Freddy and his crew who delivered our furniture was so friendly and eager to help. We highly recommend High Fashion! =)

This is Mid-towns department store. The majority of the store is composed of modern furniture that likely fills many of our local bars and lounges. In addition the first floor contains a large selection of lighting fixtures, fabrics, accent pillows, childrens toys, pet toys, French milled soap, coffee table books, ring holders, and gag gifts (like Fred products). One floor has a large section of close-out items that have significant scratch and dent discounts that is great for discount furniture. Another has a large selection of mass-produced paintings suitable for restaurant walls. The store experiments with different ideas from time to time. For example, they had a large selection of antique British sculpture, flags, metalwork, wooden sculpture, etc. Their annex across the street specializes in fabrics primarily for dresswork.

Beware of High Fashion Home in Houston, TX. They have very deceptive selling practices. I bought & paid for two (2) end tables for $1,038,00 but those tables never existed but is on their website and theyre selling it. After payment and a week later, I never got a delivery schedule or notice. Had to call (never them calling me) spoken with sales staff (5 different people) a total of seven (7) times. Also, important note is when you talk to their customer service, they tell you that sales associates that existed the day before never existed at all at theyre store. I contacted my bank & the Better Business Bureau. High Fashion Homes is a Scam online Retailer. I dont know what the brick-and-mortar is about but their phone and online sales isnt right. I wouldnt give them any stars but this yelp requires that you
