Ive been to tattoo shops all over North America, but this place is by far - the dopest shop Ive ever been to!!! Dont get me wrong...Im not all totally tatted up, in fact Ive got exactly 3 tattoos and 2 piercings. Unlike drunken frat boys though, Im a 40 year old woman and I take my time looking around for exactly the right art, the exact artist to do the job, and the exact shop to trust with this task. I mean, this is going to be with me longer than my first husband, lol! Im happy to say that I dont need to travel the globe searching any longer...Ive found the shop that I will trust with all my needs from now on! Mike, Matt, Mickey, Doug and Ella are so friendly, you hardly know youre in a tattoo shop. The place is so well-lit and so clean that it really shakes loose from the oft-expected dungeon-like experience we all expect from a tattoo parlor. My piercing was virtually pain-free (and Im a total baby) and Matt was totally patient. The information he gave for follow-up care and infection prevention was thorough and clear. Im definitely looking forward to getting my next tattoo here, very soon. The only problem I have now, is figuring out what to get...I thought I knew what I wanted, but after looking through the ample portfolios and examples of their prior work, I cant decide. Their art is OUTRAGEOUSLY amazing!!! Ill be back very soon!

Went in to be with my nephew for his first piercing. This place is AWESOME ! We are from out of town & heard of Sacred Rites. Everything we heard was correct, the whole place was so clean, with a laid back feel. Being 11, he was a bit nervous, but not enough to let us talk him out of the piercing, but upon walking in & talking with a gentleman (which was a big man, with Lots of tattoos, lol) he just relaxed. After the paperwork was all filled out, he got to go back & get his earring. The piercer Matt was patient, loving (like he was his own family), and answered ALL of the questions a 11yr old could throw at him. All of this on top of the fact that Matt has the softest, most gentle touch. It shows he loves his profession, in the way he takes pride in his self, & what he does, in giving someone an experience theyll never forget & a beautiful piece of jewelry. We were so impressed, that his mom & I also got pierced ! Thanks to Matt for the great experience, & piercings that we love, you were dead on with all 3 of them! Thanks to the gentleman named Doug who greeted us & put us all at ease when we walked in the door, & last but not least, the man who hired these two gentlemen. GREAT find in those gems!

Whether you live locally or a few hours up coast, this is the place to get your ink done. I made the trip down from Hernando county Florida and it was definitely well worth it! For starters theyre easy to get in contact with and have a super knowledgeable and friendly staff. The shop is very clean, all the way to the bathroom (which I mean lets be real the condition of a bathroom says a lot about a place). Another added bonus if you have a late afternoon appointment you get to watch one of Floridas beautiful sunsets, natures very own art. It was my first time being tattooed, needless to say I was nervous. My artist Mike was stellar at keeping the mood light and full of humor! The tattoo itself was done beautifully! I had a very colorful water color parrot placed on my left upper arm. Mike brought this guy to life . He is truly a Rockstar Artist! You can check out my tattoo and the rest of his work on his instagram @ mikecsanki and see his quality work for yourself! A million thanks to Sacred Rites of Bradenton! Outstanding job Mike! Ill be back to add on more in the future

This is not your typical hole in the wall shop. These guys are true artist. Dont expect to go in and pick a tattoo off of a wall poster. Go in with an idea and they will help make it a reality. The shop is very clean and there is beautiful artwork on the wall. One of the best things about the shop is that the artists tattoo guns are incredibly quiet. Almost completely silent. It makes it much more relaxing without the constant loud buzzing of a tattoo gun. Having top of the line equipment also shows that they are truly invested in their craft. Now to my tattoo. Chris was my artist. I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted. The team there helped shape it into exactly what I wanted. Chris was meticulous in every detail. He took his time and the result was not only the best looking tattoo I have, but also one of the best tattoos I have ever seen. I will never get a tattoo anywhere else. If you decide to get a tattoo do yourself a favor and go to Sacred Rites. You wont regret it.

I got my first tattoo in January 2016 done by Mickey. I consulted him multiple times before the tattoo to get every detail the way I wanted it. He was open to my ideas and gave suggestions on how to improve them so it wouldnt look horrible. He was so patient, kind, resourceful, honest and to top it off an absolutely amazing artist!! He did such a great job my Aunt got a tattoo by him during tattoo fest a few months later. (She was also tattooed by Mike who is a great artist as well!). He takes time in the detail and pride in his work. The appearance of the shop made me feel comfortable as well. It was very clean, organized, well lit (so the artists could see what they were doing) and they made you feel comfortable. Overall with the many times Ive been in and out of the shop as well as during my tattoo it has been great, I definitely suggest if youre looking into a tattoo anywhere from your 1st to your 25th come to this shop and its artists! Im already planning for my next one!!!!

Having never met Mike before I took the advice of my dear friend Matt Haines, to get a tattoo done by him, after coming home from deployment. I went on a whim, having a very broad idea of what I wanted, and basically trusted Mike and his creativity, to give life to my idea of a tattoo. And let me say, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Mike, portrayed a grieving angel in a way I could not have imagined. He went beyond my expectations, and I felt like I had known him for years. His lines and shading are impeccable, he has a very light hand, and as soon as I get down to Florida, I would be honored to get a few more done by Mike. Mike and Matt are two very professional businessmen, even on the personal level of which I know them by. Thank you for the art, Mike, and the awesome portrayal of my memory of deployment. And Matt, keep on keepin on brother, I admire your hard work and dedication to your dreams and I am proud of the name you are making for yourself!

A friend recommended Sacred Rites, Bradenton, to me since we would be in town for Spring Break and wanted to give my daughter an early birthday present. She knew what she wanted, where she wanted it and Justin was awesome! He explained everything and it was such an easy process! She is so happy! While we were checking in, my husband decided to get his first tattoo, total impulse! Dee had a cancellation and offered to help him find the design he wanted and he loves it! Would totally recommend this shop to anyone thinking of their first or any additional tats! Had a lot of fun, hanging with the artists, laughing with their stories... Totally a relaxing atmosphere!! Great job everyone and best of luck with this new location!!
