After working with Dustin and Doug (Sales Manager) on the pricing for a 2013 Lexus RX 350 we agreed to meet at a specific time on Friday to confirm value of my trade in and complete paperwork. I offered to put a deposit down on the Lexus and it was indicated that wasnt necessary. I emailed and texted today to confirm timing (driving from Denver to Colorado Springs) and was told that the car was sold the night before. I was not contacted ahead of time nor would I have been notified if I had not reached out myself (despite being asked by Doug to extend him the courtesy of notifying him of my inability to show or need to reschedule as that is what he would (of course) do). In fact, I was then called (about an hour later) by their appointment team to confirm what time I was supposed to arrive and ensure that still worked for me. Dustin (sales guy) texted to say that he would be in touch if the sale didnt go through as it was contingent on an inspection. After waiting over 6 hours for a response I emailed and called. Sales Associate that responded saying yes the car is still available (but never responded to my follow up email) and the phone call informed me that yes the car was in fact sold. Doug and Dustin never once apologized or asked for any way to try to make the situation right. I wouldnt recommend this to dealership to anyone. Shoppers beware.

Buyer beware- I got completely ripped off by this dealership. I understand I should have paid more attention and essentially its my fault for falling into a trap with this dealership but I felt like I could trust them. Im pregnant and was looking for a safer car for the baby. I was trading in a very nice fully loaded 2013 civic. After a test drive I felt comfortable moving forward with the Mazda CX-5. The dealers kept pressuring me for what I wanted my payments to me. I should have know not to fall for this trap but I THOUGHT they were trustworthy. They ended up pressuring me into a lease (huge mistake) with HUGE payments for the car I got (350 a month... Ridiculous) I asked and asked for a better deal and they said it was the best they had. I asked for rubber floor mats and they refused. I made a 3500 down payment for NO REASON. Now I look online and see the same exact car for 219 a month. I got completely ripped off because Im a young female and I now realize that. Dont fall for their gimmicks. They arent trustworthy. Now Im stuck with overpaying this lease for 3 years. Just go somewhere else please.

Nobody buys just one is their motto and this holds true. I have purchase three used vehicles from Bob Penkhus Mazda over the last six years. all three vehicles were pre owned and all three were a great deal. This is one great dealership and I highly recommend Brian Garside for sales. He is the best sales person I have ever dealt with, and I have bought a lot of vehicles in my time. He makes the whole process very easy and is not pushy at all. I also dealt with Ryan in the finance department who gave me a great deal on a service contract on all of my vehicles,which has saved me a lot of money over the last 6 years in repairs! I also recommend the lifetime oil and filter change program they offer. Chris the service manager is extremely helpful with any service questions as well as keeping me up to date on any additional services that my vehicle needs to keep it in tip top shape. The Bob Penkhus location at the powers auto park really is a top notch organization and I cannot see myself going anywhere else to buy a vehicle as long as I live in Colorado.

I bought three cars through Bob Penkhus and felt they were honest when I dealt with them. I believed their idea that "no one buys just one." I came to buy my fourth car and trusted that they valued me as a return customer. I wanted to trade in another vehicle, salesman Mitch, used Auto Trader and despite my reservations that the trade in quote was way off, they undervalued my trade in by almost $4,000 dollars. Later, I determined it was undervalued because they did not include all the specs on Auto Trader. They said it was a mistake, although I believe otherwise. They then turned around, and as I checked their website, over valued the price of the my trade in to the general public by a large amount. The best advice for those buying from Bob Penkhus is BUYER BEWARE. They are not what they claim to be and they value PROFIT above their customers. Really a disappointment and I will never shop with them again!

Excellent Service 3-8-2017 We just purchased a vehicle a few weeks ago and we are very happy with our experience. We worked with Robert Kania and his service was above and beyond. We came in because we saw that the dealership worked with USAA car buying service. The people working here are all very friendly and polite. Ive read other reviews and my husband and I did not feel pressured at all to purchase. Should we need to make a purchase in the future we would definitely come here.

The people at Bob Penkhus Mazda (Powers/Woodmen) were great, especially our sales person Brian "Carside" Garside. He was patient, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and responsive in helping us make the best decision for us. He truly "gets it" that the art of being a good salesperson is listening. The finance folks (Ryan) were ready, prepared and got us in and out with our purchase. They both made the car-buying experience a pleasure instead of a chore.

Fantastic buying experience! David Cotton went the extra mile to ensure my questions were fully answered, all things were fully explained, and all aspects of the deal, including trade in, were fully addressed. David has also followed up to ensure everything has happened according to agreement, and that the vehicle is up to expectations--which it is. So many great things, but the price stands out cuz it was always so fair. The dealership is great and Mazda, the car brand is outstanding too. So reliable even after 8 years!

This place is the best in the springs for car service. Ive been to the other dealerships, and I was not impressed at all. The service department is friendly, knowledgeable and show you they appreciate your business. They did a great job on my car, and couldnt be happier with a dealership.
