Just another shady dealer! Ive been looking for a truck for two and a half months. I have not been able to find a decent vehicle at a honest dealership. I went into Dallas Auto Sales and told them exactly that all Im looking for is a good truck at a fair price from an honest salesman. I understand everybody has to eat but you dont have to take advantage of me and you dont have to lie to me. I am also ASE certified so I know what Im looking at and talking about which apparently is a problem for most men in this industry. I found Dallas auto sales online with a truck I was interested in called them and said I would be in to look at it shortly. By the time I got one block away I was getting notified that the internet price was actually wrong and the truck was worth more and no they would not honor the internet price they are firm on their pricing. Fine I still would like to see the vehicle I go in I test drive it on the test drive theres a wobble. It gets worse and worse as we go on and then eventually our tire sensor on the dash reads that we have a flat tire is 0 pounds of pressure. So I put the hazards on and limp it back to the dealership but when we get there lo and behold it doesnt appear that there are any flat tires. Other than that the truck was beautiful so the salesman offered to take the truck to the mechanic first thing in the morning have him look at it so we could know what the wobble was and why the sensor was reading that way and he would let me know. I was expecting a call that afternoon by the latest. He didnt call I was on that side of town anyways so I went ahead and called them and I was told that the truck was just sold. After the night before I said I like it I want it you have me fill out a credit application so you can run my credit you dont ask for any money to hold it because youre taking it off of the lot to have it looked at by the mechanic and now youre telling me that you just sold it because a guy came in and said I dont care whats going on with the tire Ill take it as is. Well I necessarily wasnt going to care I would just like to know that its not going to fall off while Im driving down the road and I would have left you a rather large deposit that before had you said to do that instead of said no Im taking it off the lot. And you could have called me when you realize there was a guy in there interested. But you didnt call me at all I had to call you and find out that you just sold it to top it off justin has an attitude with me like I did something wrong when Im upset they sold it out from under me. I realized the name of the game is who has cash up front and in your face well I would have had that cash no correction I did have that cash the night before and you said No Im having the mechanic look at it first thing in the morning. I thought my search was finally over I was finally going to be able to drive off in my own truck and get rid of this expensive rental I thought finally theres a dealership being honest with me and not trying to pull one over on me because Im a female or because my credit may be less than perfect at the moment. But lo and behold they are just like everyone else. I might even be able to brush it off with just the vehicle being sold but the fact that the salesman had attitude with me on the phone when I called in to check really says a lot about whats important to Dallas Auto Sales

In my opinion they dont even deserve a 1 star rating. They are unprofessional, truly unprofessional. I wasted 2 of my days off dealing with this group of individuals. I went to go look at a 2009 Chevy Avalanche with 63110 miles posted on CL, which to my understanding had a no haggle price. I had a trade in for which on the 1st day I was offered $1,500.00 which I agreed to because I didnt want the hustle of selling it myself - I am no car sales man. On the second day I showed up to take the truck to Firestone on Pioneer in Arlington for a pre-buy inspection. They found that the transmission had been replaced, the water pump was leaking just to mention of few. The estimates of the repairs was over $1,100.00. They recommended I take the truck to a muffler shop because of a rattling noise coming from the engine compartment that can clearly be heard while driving the truck. I took the car to CJs Muffler on Pioneer. He ran a full diagnostics on the exhaust and could not locate the source of the noise. He advised that it was coming from the engine. Still willing to take a chance on the truck even with all that was found wrong with it. I went back to the dealership and after spending 2 days back and forth, I showed them all that was wrong with the truck hoping that they would adjust the price of the truck. The guy I was dealing with (Justin) would not budge or should I say his boss would not budge. To add to it, he decided to offer me less for my trade in. I guess they felt offended, everything I pointed out to them that was wrong with the truck they had a surprise look on their faces. The windshield had been replaced, I found glass under the hood. The passenger fender and headlight assembly had been replaced indicating some type of impact to the front of the car, he made up some story for that. As for what Firestone found to be wrong with the truck, I was told that Firestone doesnt know what they talking about and that the dealership mechanic never found anything wrong with the truck. Buyers beware!!!!

I have been purchasing cars for 30 years now and while there are many dishonest dealerships most are smart enough to respect consumers in todays market. These guys are the prototypical used car dealership that give all other dealers a bad name. Stopped to look at a vehicle as I was in the market but was not really planning to purchase that day. Very high pressure. Kept asking what it was going to take to get me to buy the car. I actually did like the car but we could not agree on terms and had a meeting to go to which I told them several times but they kept stalling by playing the old "who has his keys game" (they took my keys to appraise my car for trade)...finally got my keys back and they ran after me on my way out telling me they would do my terms if I purchased that day. Told them I would think about it...was late to my meeting with a client. Called back later and told them I would do the deal they said great but we are closing lets make an appointment tomorrow for you to sign the papers and pick up the car. Great. Showed up with all the required docs they asked for to take delivery and noticed someone else was out driving the vehicle. Said they wanted to "renegotiate" now that someone else was interested in the vehicle. When I asked what happened to our deal they said that was only good yesterday..LOL.. Unbelievable..classic ..its like buying a car back in the 70s...I liked the car but what really makes me mad is the disrespect they have for individuals and their time...they like to play all the games...if you enjoy that treatment...if not I would stay clear there are better options in Arlington
