We used your grooming services in Manahawkin, NJ. Both of our dogs were returned to us looking great, smelling great. Kudos to the groomers who actually did the work. So FIVE stars for the grooming. But I am not sure I can ever use PetSmart ever again after this incident. Two days later we receive a call that we need to bring both dogs back into the store, because we were given the wrong dog back. The owner who supposedly had our dog was returning to the store demanding that we switch dogs back. Here is why having a Microchip is so important folks!!! I went to my local vet and immediately verified that in fact my puppy Lily is mine. If she was not she should have been named 007 for mimicking my dogs behavior in every conceivable way possible. My vet faxed all of the verification paper work to the other womans vet. Now I have the Manahawkin, NJ Police department calling my wife asking us to bring the dogs back to the store. We have refused. PetSmart corporate. This is NOT our problem. This is your problem so you deal with it. We provided pictures of the dogs to the Police Department. Sophie is 10 years old Labradoodle and has very specific fatty deposits on her at specific locations and other body marks on her body (documented with the vet). And not for nothing, shes Sophie. I have had her for 10 years. I know my own dog. I am very sorry that a woman feels she has the wrong dog now, but we do not have her dog and I am now feeling harassed by PetSmart employees. We literally feel like we are being interrogated. I am pretty sure a strange dog would not allow my son (age 5) to pounce all over them like my son does with our dogs. That would have been the first warning sign there was a problem, which there is not a problem on our side. This is totally unacceptable and my wife is completely shaken up over this matter. I am putting his message here, because PetSmart executives probably do not want a phone call from me right now. They would regret trying to speak with me by telephone at this juncture. Your team offered me a free grooming for Lily. Are you kidding me? No seriously, are you kidding me? Update: We had Berkeley Animal Control here to prove once again that our dogs are our dogs. They scanned and confirmed our puppy and our dog are ours. I will NEVER EVER do business with PetSmart again after this episode.

pet smart grooming- although I have seen lovely girls doing a lovely caring job thru their window,(which seemed like a good sign) when looking for a groomer I thought this coul d be a good match. Puppy supplies medical and training all under one roof why not give it a try.? When making the apt I expressed distain to leaving my dog for 5 hrs.but made an apt and decided I might be being over protective. on intake I went over DETAILS: shampoo,etc grooming I wanted done nails ears and a puppy cut. they said they would call me...never did. I kept returning asking for my dog who was groomed by ann marie who I later found out was manager.My dog had crusty eyes wasnt bathed nails uncut and she said he was playful or afraid, But this was not his first grooming . when I got home I realized nails ,ears etc were not done long and short hair no clipper used looked like he was attacked by a scissor. 3 days laterI bring my precious pup to the vet and when he sees a scissor near him he starts shrieking in fear and panic. This woman is a heartless animal who traumatized my precious puppy....DO NOT BRING YOUR PET TO ANNEMARIE AT PET SMART ,MANAHAWKIN! I COMPLAINED TO MANAGEMENT AND GOT A REFUND BUT HOW CAN SHE BE MANAGER OF GROOMING WHEN SHE IS A SADISTIC ANIMAL HATER...My puppy will not let anyone near him after this experience and it will take a long time till he will trust again...I WARN YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS WOMAN!!! The issue here goes beyond getting my $ back and a bad haircut...BEWARE!!!!!! STAY AND WATCH YOUR PUPPY OR GET A TRUSTED REFFERAL....

If you have a small dog please request Erin she is awesome!!!! she is the only one who can cut my chihuahuas nails! I made the mistake of bringing him one time when she was not there and it was an absolute disaster!!!!!!!! The girl who was :trying: to cut his nails clearly had no clue of what she was doing-- my dog is only 4 lbs and he was screaming, the girl was making faces like she was annoyed and slamming her fist on the table annoyed with my dog simply because she did not know how to do the job.... they ended up putting a huge cone on his head that was bigger than him and probably very heavy on his tiny body! which made it worse and he flipped out instead of asking one of the other girls to assist her she continued to torture my dog until finally another girl came over and my dog nipped at her because by this point of course he was terrified!!!!! after this i went back in and told them to stop and I was furious because they just tortured my dog and nothing got accomplished except for a traumatic experience i complained to management simply to make these girls know how to handle small dogs because this was unacceptable from now on i only will take him to Erin and i HIGHLY recommend her I would trust her to baby sit my dog even lol!

i got all these toys, treats and everything you can think of for my puppy! its was a overall great experience. my puppy is happy with all of his toys and treats! I dont know if you know but, they have a thing called a puppy starter kit and it is everything you need for a puppy like you get 50% off of crates and all stuff like that! its awesome!

grooming service is way too rough, left a deep gash on the side of my dogs face, they are awful at training, (in my opinion) kinda get the impression that they dont really care for the animals.

Went there just to socialize an anti social dog. No interest in purchasing anything, the staff was friendly, had some great advice, and was generally interested in the pup.

Wonderfully done wash..cut...taking care of my Missy...she comes out looking like my princess...never nervous or upset. Always happy to return to make her pretty.
