This location is useless and works hand in hand with the online store. I returned an item within the return policy and they handed me a merchandise card. I was in a rush and didnt mind because I planned to buy things there anyway since I have always been a customer. I wanted to order something online because it wasnt available in the store. The online store "couldnt accept merchandise cards". When I asked for a solution, they had none. After chatting with the online store, I asked if I could use the merchandise card to purchase a gift card so I could purchase what I wanted. They explained that would work and I stupidly didnt print the conversation. I assumed, the employees all knew the same procedures. However, when I went to the store I was told NO. I explained the online store told me differently. The cashier stood staring at me, again, not offering me any solutions or any friendly service. Instead, ran his mouth which is when I walked out. I will never be shopping at Petco again.. in Howell or online.

i bring my dog there all the time to be groomed she had past owners who beat her with anything they could so grooming her used to be horrible because the minute a brush came out she would get scared and snap but she lives the staff and they say she enjoys getting groomed so much they are so patient and caring also very helpful with their knowledge on product in the store love it strongly recommend especially have great prices

On Sundays you can see Vet-Co at PetCo.. Sunday is Rabies Shot day at this Petco. Any Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00pm, you can get your furry little friend a Rabies (or any) shot at discount prices. Rabies alone is $19.99, or the full, 5 shot compliment: Distemper/Parvo, Boardetella, Lepto and a heartworm test: all for $79.00. Add $10.00 for tick shot, add $10.00 for fecal test, add $10.00 for tick borne disease test.

Customer service was good, the girls were friendly and the overall cut of my little dog was ok. With that said, they didnt cut her nails and she didnt smell as of she was bathed, I didnt notice until I got her home. I asked for the complete service of a bath and groom. I gave it 2 stars because for $50 and not getting the full treatment I paid for I am really unhappy; she was there for 2 and a half hours too.

Out of all the Petcos Ive been to in the area, this is one of the more nice ones and fully stocked with animals and fish. Prices are decent and the supplies are in top condition.
