I would never use this place again nor recommend it to anyone. We drove an hour and a half one way to purchase a bathtub we wanted. Long story short I get home and notice they loaded the WRONG bathtub in my truck. Over a 3 hour drive 2 kids under 2 just to get home and have the wrong one. I called the manager Miguel who assured me he would go in the next morning on his day off first thing in the morning and get our tub on the delivery truck so we could get it ASAP. 9am he calls and says he cant get a hold of the lady who sets up the delivery and he left a message with another delivery company. 5 hours later no call no tub, I call the place of business Miguel the manager went home but Oscar the assistant manager said the delivery company would be calling me. I get a call at 230 we r on our way to your house from the warehouse. 530 I get a text saying we are just now leaving the warehouse. 7pm. Still no bathtub neither manager or assistant manager is in. Delivery company is saying Ill be 8 or after. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. We are remodeling our master bathroom and still need more supplies but they just lost our business. Did I mention my husband took 3 days of vacation to get this done. First day wasted wrong tub, second day wasted because they still havent delivered. Worst experience ever

I had an idea of what I wanted my kitchen to look like but could not get everyone on the same page... so we decided to go in and see the designer at Seconds & Surplus. I had never been to Seconds & Surplus before and wasnt sure what to expect. What I found was that everyone is so helpful and willing to answer my questions. However ... there is one person in particular that I was very impressed with. Her name is Amy Reynolds and she works in the custom cabinet department. Amy saw right away what I was trying to achieve and she encouraged me to stick with my plan. She offered some wonderful suggestions that turned out to be just what I wanted. If it had not been for Amy ... I probably would have given up on my vision and I certainly would not be as pleased with it as I am. I even went back several times and got her opinion on the bathrooms and other issues as well. She was always very patient and answered all my questions. Amy works hard, really cares about her clients and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a true professional. I truly cannot say enough good things about her.

I purchased a new custom kitchen cabinets through Seconds and Surplus with Amy in November 2014 and installation December 2014. Amy helped me through the entire process. She educated me on the process of a kitchen makeover, things to consider, vendors, and gave me time to do my own research. After doing my own research for six months, I returned to Seconds and Surplus because of Amy. No matter how many times I dropped by, emailed her with questions, or revisited the design she was patient. She was very accommodating to my hectic travel schedule. She is truly knowledgeable and I believe a value-added asset. My husband and myself went to different stores to get some help in our kitchen redo, not other stores offers as much help that we could find in here. Amy Reynolds works in the cabinets department designs and she is very helpful. You need to make an appointment so she can separate and dedicate some time for you. She will walk you through different ideas but at the end is your call what are you going to get. Im really happy how my new kitchen looks....Thank you Amy!!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Always the first stop for any building supplies, or upgrades that you are want to do to your house. They have the best prices and quality of material, and exceptional customer service. Horrible customer service! Purchased a entry door and lock set at same time. Had door installed by their recommended installer and went to check hardware. No key was supplied with lock. They want me to disassemble door lock, leave home unsecured and return full lock assembly for rekeying with no reimbursement of any kind. Grand Prairie will not get my return business.

They have some nice things and decent prices, but we couldnt walk around and see everything we wanted to buy because it was just way too hot in there. There is no A/C and the TX sun in June is unforgiving. We bought only a bathroom vanity, but wanted to look at shower doors, faucets and other things, just had to rush and get out of there ASAP! Too bad!

We have renovated and sold 17 properties. We have used Seconds and Surplus for years in several of their locations. With the exception of one poorly engineered set of exterior French doors (not their fault) we have had great customer service. We continue to use them!!!
