This is the second time I have purchased a car with Crystal. 10 years ago I purchased a used car, this one was new. 10 years ago we sat down and went through all the numbers first. This time however wasnt done like that and I was a bit uncomfortable. Noting that the dealer cant take a whole lot off the MSRP, in the past you had a chance to discuss it. Especially if the car is a new but last years model, as this one was. Sitting down with the Finance Manager can be a shock if you dont have numbers prior. Luckily the numbers were boarder line high but acceptable as others claimed they paid less on various web sites, and we were able to put no money down. If they are only claiming the car price before all the taxes and fees then we are even with those. I honestly cant say how that works. The thing that bothered me the most is the car wasnt checked out properly before delivery. We left the dealership almost at closing and the TPI warning was on with the words on the dash "Check Tire Pressure" and we had to go back the next morning. We pulled into service and they took the car in almost right away, but when they were done we were told not one, but all the tires were low. If the car was checked out and detailed like it should have been, this should not have happened. Crystal has a past reputation of being very good with me. Its the main reason I went to them again. They failed to get five stars with me because those two issues can be corrected so easily to get five stars.

The WORST experience buying a car -- ever! Sneaky, liars, absolutely disrespectful of me as a customer. If I could rate them zero stars I would. I traded my car in for a KIA SUV and when speaking to the salesman and the finance guy I was adamant that I wanted to pay cash. Instead they told me I could not pay in cash because they had nowhere to keep cash, couldnt be secure, and someone could steal cash. The finance guy wrote a supposed sales contract that had tacked on $899.99 "delivery fee". I caught that and he deleted the fee, but hes just a liar and would have left it there if I hadnt complained. Lots of really sneaky nonsense. He wrote a contract up with Fifth Third Bank and told me to "just pay them cash, there would be no fees if paid within 30 days". I am furious and cant speak to anyone but Brett Mitchell who says he is head of Customer Service at David Maus. I wrote two emails to David Maus directly --- both were intercepted by Brett Mitchell. I even reiterated that I want to speak to Mr. Maus, but Mitchell keeps telling me that only he can help me. Well, its been 17 days and there is NO HELP --- it only gets worse! I wouldnt inflict this on my worst enemy. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALER -- ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED CUSTOMER SERVICE OR FINANCING. Cant accept cash???? Ridiculous!!

I was working with an online internet salesperson (Kelly Plumes) looking at a 2011 Altima at 2 oclock on Thursday Oct.25th 2012 I told them I would be there at 3 to look at the car. When I arrived I asked for the sales mgr. John Mcbearthy and he gave me to another salesman and said he could help me. After walking me up and the down the lot he couldn't find the car and decided to go ask about it. He returned and stated that all the Altimas was sent to auction that morning and wanted to show me a 2013. I left and immediately emailed the internet sales about the situation, now it is Nov.3rd (9 days later and the Altimas that was sent to auction are still on the web site including the one that I went to try and see) To me this is a classic example of bait and switch if there ever was one. I have heard stories of this situation from others about this dealership but I found out the hard way for my self, don't be like me and waste your time with the dealership. Dennis P. Spring hill Fl.

My wife and I have stopped by the dealership before looking at a specific vehicle of the previous model year; we were looking for a good buy. We couldn’t reach an agreement with the dealership but the negotiations were civil and they were not rude in any way. We had no hard feelings and stopped in a few months later when we saw the same vehicle on their lot. After talking with a salesman about a vehicle he came back with the price, we asked them to do better, he came back from the manager, the managers name was Justin, and they raised the price $1500. At that time I told the salesman that was a slap to the face, he stated he didn’t see how it was a slap to the face and we left. If that was their best price, that’s fine they could have just said it but instead they chose raise the price. I hope the manger enjoyed his gesture because now I will not go back to them and I will let anyone I know who is shopping for a vehicle about the customer service at Crystal Nissan.

Ive bought a lot of cars from a lot of different car dealerships, but I have never had an experience as pleasant as I had at Maus Nissan of Crystal River. I found a vehicle I liked online, put in an online request to have someone contact me and within the hour I was setting up an appointment to test drive the vehicle. I was treated with respect and they gave me a great deal on my new vehicle, as well as a more than fair price on my trade. When you go to Maus Nissan ask for David Doucette in Sales as he was helpful, courteous, and more than excellent to deal with. Even after the sale he followed up with me several times to see if I had any questions and just to check on how I was doing. I also got to work with Sean in Finance who was very personable and helped make the process go by very smoothly. Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle!

It was a horrible I had a internet price and was told the dealership could work with that by a person named Chelsey and A saleperson named Chazz help me and he insulted me telling me I obviously had never bought a new car before. Which in my life time I have bought 7 new cars. I think he was annoyed because I was interested in a lower end car which is all I can afford at this time. A Nissan Versa roll up windows I was to so Excited about this and left so upset I will never recommend this dealer ship the price on the internet was 10.162 and when I got there it was 14. And if I get aarp I could have another 500 off really Im on a budget . Never had a experience like this at a dealership before I would strongly not recommend them . And they need nicer sales people not everyone is rich that walks in the door.

They will screw you over too. I purchased a 2016 Nissan pick up truck with 1500 miles on it. During the sales pitch, I was told that the vehicle had a clean Car Fax report. So I took them at their word. I washed the truck a few days later and discovered a dent on the roof, so I returned to the dealership but they refused to fix the dent. My issue with them is this: they willingly withheld information from Car Fax but then they used the Car Fax report to further the sale. They can not be trusted! Manipulating the Car Fax is tantamount to lying. I took the truck to a local body shop who estimated the repair to be $255....So for a couple of hundred bucks, they knowingly lied, to consummate a deal. They screwed me and will screw you over too. Buy Elsewhere.
