These guys are scum bags. I brought in a pair of sunglasses worth $290 new, I didnt want to keep them around because they were a gift from an ex of 5 years and we lived together the entire time, so Im having trouble with the break up and dont need any reminders of her laying around the house. They did a quick ebay search and told me that they would give me $25 and that they only fetch $59 on ebay. I was disappointed but like I said, I just wanted to get rid of any and all reminders of her so I signed it over to them. When I got home, something just didnt feel right. So I went online and did a search of my own, turns out that the model that came up on Google search was a completely different pair of sunglasses than the one I brought in. So I took a look around and there werent any of this type of sunglasses available for auction, but there were a few pair listed on ebay for sale, minimum $100. I brought in my Knights of Columbus sword, they told me that they WOULD take it but I dont have any paperwork or documentation of authenticity. He said it was a replica and that he couldnt take it, I said "no, its authentic." He snapped back, "oh really? Wheres the papers?" very snarky. I was a member of knights of columbus in college and was given the sword by the organization itself - it does not COME with papers of authenticity. I brought in a michele watch, which every pawn shop owner knows is a very high end brand of females watch. Once again, they did a quick auction search and said they could only offer me $40. At first I was happy to oblige because I tried to find its value online and couldnt. Well I eventually found it online later and once again, because nobody was currently bidding on the item, I got completely ripped off. The item retails for $400 and was listed at $200 in not auction search. The only way to get fair value for anything at this place is to list the item at fair price on ebay as an auction and then bid on it yourself before going into the shop. The only thing that they offer REMOTELY fair prices on is gift cards, which they offer 50%, not even quite the 60% standard youll get if you drive 20 minutes anywhere in the city. Im going to call today and if these were just a couple of misunderstandings then I will eat my words, mistakes happen and if theyre willing to make things right then I understand completely, but this is why you cant run an pawn store off of ebay, you need to have an industry expert in the front of the store who is knowledgable and knows the value of common pawnable things like watches and sunglasses - not a couple of 20-somethings with an ebay search bar and who get paid on commission so theyre looking to rip everyone off.

Most nastiest, greediest and gloomiset place on the face of planet earth. When I said those words those came not just from anger, but from reality of things that could happen in this place, take any item out there, you wont even hear a near reasonable price and if you want to buy the same exact item u want to sell, well u cud get the picture, these people who owns this place made all that money out of other peoples misery, out of other peoples desperation, taking advantage of Financial miseries we all go through, I hope all the money these people make would go to undertakers, and public please avoid this place and find a REAL pawn shop even if u need to drive few miles, this place is something terrible I cant even describe.

Its a pawn shop but you actually cant "pawn" only sell . As they do not do loans anymore. So maybe change name to we might buy your stuff. I dunno Ive used them when desperate for bill money but cheltenham is by far a lot better. They are pretty good guys. They work with people unlike this place. So if you can take a drive somewhere else out your going to get way less and not able to get back.

Took down a Bose 123 system an onkyo receiver 600 new said worth 60-100 and a19" TV, wanted to trade all for two tvs selling for two hundred. No good. Wont be in business doing that going to best buy same small tv,$125 with ae warranty. Larger one has no tv stand. They look for stuff thats perfect to rip you off

When an item doesnt get high enough on their eBay auction page, they cancel the whole listing and relist it for a higher price even if there are commited bidders. They also reply with low educated responses, like theyve never even seen the item before.
