This place is about as stupid and pathetic as any store I have ever shopped at gets and heres why: I bought 2 different items on shopgoodwill that were crystal. Each shipment had multiple crystal pieces. These morons threw the crystal pieces into a plastic bag together without any protection from each other, so both shipments arrived broken. It really broke my heart to see the multiple chips on these lovely crystal pieces. I send Goodwill pictures of the broken items & they refunded my money....so you would think this was the end of the story? Nope. Apparently, these morons are blaming me for the broken crystal somehow in their stupid minds this was my fault and have blocked me from bidding on their Goodwill website? Look all I did was buy a few items from them. How in the world can they justify blocking me after they broke my items. I just got off the phone with these idiots and they told me that they did not like the phone message I left them, and that was the reason why I was blocked. Again I say, WHAT is their problem. Their little, tiny, sensitive ears cant take it when a customer is upset that: 1 - they cant get through to anyone to speak to them because no one answers the phone and 2 - because no one calls you back? Again this is my fault? Yes I was frustrated but any other retailer would have someone answering phones. NOT GOOD FREAKIN WILL, they simply suck. So in summary these morons get ALL THEIR ITEMS FOR FREE, from good people like us, they turn around and make millions off these items, and then have the BALLS to blame the customer for items which they ship broken and block the good people who have the balls to let them know when something needs to be corrected. Just a bunch of smacks.

On the bright side, the Goodwill Outlet offers pricing by the pound. If you need clothes, you can get some great deals here. However, the negatives highly outweigh the positives. First, location: North Versailles isnt the best neighborhood. Depending on which way you come from, you may have to drive through some rough areas. The actual outlet is far back from the road with ample parking. Second: The customers. Whew. The outlets are great places for resellers to get inventory. Items can cost $0.25. Unfortunately this causes major chaos when new bins are brought out. People dive like vultures on the bins, grabbing things without even looking at what theyre getting. People shove, grab, and its a mad frenzy. If you were raised with any sense of respect for others, this is very difficult to get used to. I often leave after only an hour because my sanity and attitude are more important than a few mediocre clothing items. The inventory isnt that great. Occasionally, you will find nice things but the majority of items are broken, torn, old, or majorly flawed. You have to consider that this location is not likely to get high end items because of the surrounding areas. Overall, I would recommend just going to regular Goodwills. There is another Goodwill Outlet closer to Pittsburgh but I have not been there.

I shop here alot. This is retail healing for me. I find a lot of deals. I always have a great experience up until last friday. I came in grabbed my cart and started looking around found a couple things. Some came over to me and said i went in his cart and took these to hanging sticks out. At first im just looking at him like hunh, is he talking to me. He said he wanted them back. I told him i did not go in his cart and i showed him where i got them. He called me a thief and started going up to random people, pointing at me telling them i steal. Then got the manager. I explained to the manager i dont know what the man was talking about. Manager took the items out my cart. I said if he looked on camera it shows i got them out the ben. Later the manager comes and says my general manager says we dont check cameras and did not give me back my items. Told me they would put them back in the bens later and who ever gets them get them. The man who accused me was still comming by me saying things, at this time im fed up and told the guy if he doesnt stop saying things to me my boyfriend will be here. He goes and tell the manager, he ask me did i say it. Goes and get the General Manager and she makes me leave.

Really getting bad. Empty boxes, bags and newspaper dominate the bins. Glass thrown in is broken creating a shopping Hazzard and the garbage is abundant. Dont the sorters know that obviously broken , filthy or wet and moldy merchandise is not only unsaleable but also a health concern. They certainly know how to pick out the good stuff as it is all listed on their web site for sale. Used to frequently visit but have limited my time there as the "Pickens are thin". The changing of only a portion of the bins causes everyone to swoop down on them like sharks at a feeding frenzy and between the little kids playing in the middle of the aisle or screaming at the top of their lungs because theyve been sitting in a buggy for 2 hours its an experience thats not worth the trouble.

This place has a lot of good stuff. They seem to rotate the bins out every two hours. My only gripe is the foreigners that spend the whole day there and treat the shoe section like Supermarket Dash when the bins are rotated. I understand its an "everyone for themselves" mentality, but when 7 grown men are pulling things out from other customers, its frustrating. Otherwise a good mix of clothes and housewares. Just stay away from the shoes or you may lose a hand.

Lots of broken glass in bins and a manager who seems to harrass ALL the customers about their purchases. Big sign says ALL corded items 99 cents but manager takes them out of your cart and says they are more. If she doesnt like what you have in your cart she takes it off you. Kids running wild everywhere. No organization. Ive seen straight garbage (food) in bins. But dangerous broken glass has no excuse. Worried about kids getting hurt.

A total dump! Dont waste your time. The most rejected items at Goodwill come here. Lots of broken merchandise and empty cardboard boxes. Stuff is brought out in rolling bins and folks attack them like vultures, albeit while wearing gloves. Yeah its that bad. Dont waste your time. Literally broken garbage and overpriced.

I really like going here. Be prepared, its an outlet, not an organized store, thats what makes it different and fun. Plan at least two hours here. To go through the bins, and to experience the chaos when new bins are brought out. You pay by weight, or set prices on large items.

This place is kinda crazy to a first timer, but after a while you get used to it. if youre not looking for shoes/clothes/clothing accessories, its best to let the crazies tear each other apart and move in after theyve cleaned out all the other stuff
