I went to Eyemart express, yesterday, June 30, 2017, for the first time. I needed a new pair of perscription sun glasses and new reading glasses, and I wanted them the same day. Truthfully, the sooner the better. Im going to qualify right up front that I am extremely picky person, thus high maintenance customer . Im sure Im one of those customers that everyone cant wait to help out the door. Anyway, I visited store #23 off Loop 410 between Ingram road and Culebra road in San Antonio, Texas. Both Janie and Raquel assisted me as I proceeded to try on about 20 different pair of frames. Naturally I enlisted the aide of a few customers to help me decide which frames I should select. Janie and Raquel were great! They were patient, professional, and product knowledgeable. When it came time to pay, I hit a small snag having to do with utilizing the educators discount, as I didnt the required ID card with me; however, I did have other evidence of my status in education. Rene, the General Manager, immediately came to assist me. He was very kind and professional. Rene talked to me, reviewed my documentation and made sure that my commitment in education was honored by his store while staying in compliance with Eyemart Express policy. Everyone was great, my two pair of glasses were completed earlier than the projected two hour time frame, and I felt phenomenal walking out of the store wearing a stylish pair of designer sunglasses that were only a fraction of the cost that I had previously paid purchasing my perscription glasses elsewhere. Rene is an asset to the company. His attitude, product knowledge, professionalism, and people skills are evident in his well trained staff.

Its May. I ordered these glasses in December. I had to go back to get these remade a ridiculous amount of times. The first time I went, they forgot to give me transitional lenses (I always get these). I went back and asked them to remake them with the tinting. The next time, they remembered the tinting, but they did it wrong. The glasses would get dark just fine when I went outside, but when I came back in, one would get darker way before the other. I would look very strange. When I took them back that time, I just wanted a refund, but too much time had passed. I had them make them again. I returned to the store yet again to pick up my new glasses, and they just handed them to me. However, this time I noticed the top of the frames were scratched badly. There was a wire sticking out from a nose piece. I could not wear glasses that were so badly damaged. They had to remake them yet again. Today, I finally got my complete pair of glasses, five months after I first ordered them. I am not pleased with this store at all. The service is poor as well. Almost every time I picked up my glasses, I had to wait a very long time to receive service. Then, the sales associate would just hand me my glasses and would not offer to sit me down in front of a mirror and adjust them for me. A manager helped me on my final visit, and she was nice and very apologetic and did everything she was supposed to, but that did not make up for these past few months of poor service. I do not recommend getting glasses done at this location. I certainly wont be back.

The wait time to be assisted was a little over an hour, but the staff was incredible friendly and knowledgeable. The sales associate gave me her undivided attention when it was my turn. She took her time to explain everything and answered all my questions. She did not rush me through the process even though they were extremely busy. I was told my glasses would be ready in an hour, but they were completed and ready for pick up in forty five minutes. I went this morning to pick up my new glasses, and waited less then five minutes to be helped. I am quite pleased with my glasses. I would return to this location to purchase glasses again. I would recommend EyeMart Express, but I would go in the morning. They were not nearly as busy as they were in the afternoon.

Lori was very friendly and helpful. She took the time to explain the three different types of lenses offered . She recommended the polycarbonate lenses because they are 30% lighter then regular lens. She wrote down in detail the different pricing and explained what you would get if you went with the different lenses. Lori was very thorough and authentic to me when we conversed about my purchase. The location was very busy and the wait was a little long. But my experience at this location was great!

Was talked into the special lens treatment that makes the glasses scratchproof and glare resistant. Was told it would not come off like the cheap stuff that the other companies use. Went back because the lenses are fogged and the special stuff is coming off. They said it was not a defect and it was normal and that the lenses are not covered under warranty. I could purchase new lenses though! Ill never shop here again nor will I bring any of my family here for their glasses. $450.00 for trash!

My family and I have been buying our glasses at Eyemart Express Loop 410-Culebra store for several years. Not only has the service been excellant, they provide fast service and quality workmanship. Lenses have been perfect every time. And if I ever have a loose lens, scratch or missing screw...I stop in and they take care of it immediately, without checking to see if purchased my glasses with them. A+ for service

This place is cheap, but they gave the wrong prescription, twice!! At first I went and they gave me a prescription that made my vision blurry so I went back and they said the exact same thing. I went to a different doctor and he compared my lenses and showed me the difference. So disappointed in the glasses they game me and the fact that I had to go twice.

I went to the NW Loop 410 and did not receive helpful service. My son and I picked out our own glasses and then waited for someone to basically write out the total. I really felt ignored and the help we did receive was incorrect. The manager was able to fix everything but it was still 21/2 hours.

The wait was a bit long, but it was worth it. The sales girl spent time going over all the options with me. It was crowded and busy but worth it for the great deals. Ive been going to Eyemart Express for years. (Also I would suggest not going on a Friday afternoon, I was much busier than usual.)

I went to the eyemart on 1329 sw military drive and the service was great. Michelle was very nice and polite. Took her time explaining to me what type of lenses there were and what type was right for me. I would go back to this eyemart. Michelle was very informative and respectful.

The only issue was the wait. It was absolutely horrible. They say they hire people and they dont show for interviews or first days of work. So that tells me the long wait is very usual and happens all the time. But the actual service was nice
