Salad Bar. Have you seen the salad bar at the Imbrie Fred Meyer? Its great!! Its fresh, there are many choices of vegetables, meats, cheeses and other toppings. The price is good too. My wife and I are local business owners and we often go there for lunch, but they make it hard to eat there. Today we went in to get some salad for lunch and immediately walked out....... the containers they offered today were ridiclously small. This is the problem, inconsistency. Sometimes the containers are sufficiently large, other days they are way too small. Last week there were no lids. We have spoken with the assistant manager of Produce who basically told us that it is what it is, get over it. We have commented through the official Fred Meyer web site and got a non-answer. I have shopped almost exclusively at FM for around 20 years, but this and other issues are tainting the experience to the point that I am considering taking my business elsewhere. How hard can it be to consistently have containers with lids and big enough to get more than about a quarter pound of salad in?!?!

Great selection of meat, produce and other daily use items. However, twice in the last 2 weeks (dec 30, 2016 - Jan 15, 2017), I have been incorrectly overcharged for certain items. The 1st time, a wine was marked at $7 discount from its full price - i had bought a bunch of other items along with it but still thought that my bill was higher than I had expected so checked, to fine the wine charged at the regular price without the discount. A similar incident occurred when I bought a Nivea body wash - was charged the regular price instead of the discounted one ($1.50 extra). When I asked with the checkout agent, she said that the people in charge of updating the prices in the database are sometimes late in doing so and so this happens all the time!!! I wonder how much I have been overcharged over the last 3 years that have been shopping here. Bottom line - beware! Check your bill!! You have probably already been overcharged few times!

Have you tired Clicklist yet??? While working a 12 hour shift I realized that once again I had forgotten to plan something for my dinner. While grumbling at the the thought of another week of take out I finally decided to try it. I was blown away. The parking was easy to find and away from all the traffic and pedestrians. Within 5 minutes my car was fully loaded with my entire shopping list. The employee handed me my receipt with a smile and I was home at my usual time. I whipped together a healthy meal in 15 minutes. This service is helping me live a healthier life while preserving the little time I have in the evenings. If you try it you wont regret it.

There have been times in the past but today takes the cake. My husband is looking for panty moth traps at this Fred Meyer. We bought some a few months ago. I called to see if they have them in stock as my husband cant find them on the shelf. I was told that they do not have the capacity to look up stock on a computer!! I cant imagine a store not having that capability. They will send someone over to the departmetn who wont know about even what we are looking for.. it will be interesting to see what happens. No one has shown up after seven minutes of waiting. This is poor service.

We came to get gas. The young boys working attended a women before us. We showed up first. We waited 5 mins before asking what we wanted. The young guy said so rude with a tired attitude of not wanting to be at work. Guy: What can I get you. Us: 10. Guy: Regular? Us: Yes. Guy: Cash or card? Us: I showed him the money. Guy: So cash or card? Us: Cash. Then he just walks off and snaps his eyes at us. If you want a job then do your job like your company want you to. Were paying your check. I wont cone this Fred Myers for gas.

This particular Fred Meyer can be really busy on the weekends: They have everything you need for your house and more. Their have a nice selection of organic foods. I feel like I can always go in and find what I need. Employees are for the most part friendly. I have encountered one or two that need to improve their customer service approach. I would like to see a better selection on dog food. That is something that I cant purchase here.

Probably my last favorite Fred Meyer because the layout is different than pretty much any other one Ive visited. Normally their stores have foods on one half, and non-foods on the other. This one has food in the middle with non-foods on either side. Its silly, but when youre used to the layout being a certain way and you want to go in for a quick trip it isnt so quick if youre lost.

One of the best Fred Meyer locations in the Portland Area. Lots of parking (usually) and the store is clean and bright. I accidentally left some groceries in the bottom of a shopping cart when I left. An hour later I came back and the help desk had my groceries waiting for me. So not only is the store good, but the shoppers and honest.

Their pharmacy is incredibly slow. They have SIX staff members in the pharmacy at one time, yet only one assisting guests. It would seem that if only one is helping customers, the other five would be filling prescriptions. Yet they cannot make the times they set prescriptions to be ready at! Slow, long lines, and unfriendly.

Could not find items at this location that I can at other Fred Meyer locations (e.g. travel size bottles, GF cornbread mix). However, the self-checkout line always seems to be short or non-existent so it is nice to be able to get in and get out quickly. I love their selection of gluten free and vegan food section.

Classic Fred Meyer with fast service and just about anything you need. Store was clean throughout and had a nice open atmosphere. True one-stop shopping with a great balance of competitive price and good quality merchandise. I like the rewards program for easy returns and the fuel savings too.

The lady who works hardware was extremely rude and sarcastic with me. She had a "Why are you bothering me" attitude. Every time I come to this section there are no employees in site and I have to call for one on the phone. I wont be coming back here for any of my hardware purchases again.

Good place to do casual shopping for everyday items. Friendly staff who are willing to lend a helping hand if required. At times, they give away freshly prepared barbecued ribs at the entrance. Reduced one star because we have had to go back to correct incorrect billing issues.

I love Fred Meyer. I almost would move out of CA for them, though I suspect the lack of sales tax in OR sweetens the experience. I got a bagful of school supplies for just over $20. Had to stop myself from going crazy in the household section. Great prices and selection.
