Staff, owner, and store are unbelievable. I came to find velvet, which prompted some snarky "pro-sew" customers ahead of me in line to ask what on earth I was planning to make with my purchase. Was overjoyed to answer them, ignored their smirks, and was delighted to find my answers provided them even greater entertainment. When I returned home to LA I found the exact item (different color) in the new J Peterman catalog. Feel vindicated, but may now change my pattern idea as uniqueness, not catalog material, was my inspiration. Also wanted to thank the owner for hiring The auburn pixie-haired, expert seamstress who spent the time to help me---she is truly a lovely and kind soul---and to thank her for sharing her knowledge, support, and patience. This was a highlight of my day! DD I love this place.

Really nice staff. They went out of their way to help me find the right fabrics for my project, and are doing their best to get me the right colors. I could tell they cared, and they were very sweet ladies. 10/10 would return. The price was more than I had originally expected, but I dont have much experience in fabric shopping. The material was clean, felt good, and didnt get messed up after the first wash.

By far the greatest fabric store I have ever been to. Endless supply of any fabric you can think of. Also a huge selection of misc items (buttons, zippers, etc.) Extremely cheap pricing. The staff will coach you from start to finish on all things related to sewing. Every time I go to Mill End Fabrics I find myself starting a new project! Worth the visit; best Burning Man fur fabric supplier on the west coast.

I just called Mill End Fabrics and politely asked if they would be willing to donate any used fabric to my students for their science notebooks. She was very condescending and rude. I totally understand if you cant donate or dont have the means to make a donation, but you dont have to be rude about it. I have gone here before and they were helpful, but this one lady was unfortunately not nice.

Absolutely adore this store!!! I still remember when my mother took me there as a little girl and this week I had the privilege of taking my own little girl. Scouting and shopping MEF is a Reno family tradition because their prices are more than reasonable, their selection will blow your mind, and their customer service is second to none!

Selection is AMAZING. There is so much it would take you days to go through everything. However, it was a tight fit and it was kind of a dirty feel, but other than that, it was great. Amazing Prices and I found stuff from the 80s that reminded me of my childhood that I just had to have. A must for any quilter or seamstress.

Millend is a fabric place for lots of projects, crafts, upholstery supplies, quilters, cosplayers, any type of sewing supplies and more! Its huge, and has great deals. Millend has been a Reno institution for decades. Plan on exploring for a while, this is a true warehouse filled with treasures for DIYers of all kinds. Fun!

Ive tried research costumes on the online to buy. Most of em are overpriced & costumes look Ehhh... . So I came this store & I was surprised all of things Ive bought was fair! Ive got a ton of compliment on homemade costumes at Zombie Crawl and Santa Crawl! Ive been coming here for long I can remember!

Excellent Customer Service!! Totally love this place! Beautiful fabric, the biggest selection of swim suit material I have ever seen. They have every thing you need for your sewing project! I will definitely be back, every time I go to Reno! Thank you Mill End Fabrics.

SO MUCH FABRIC. I mean, its a fabric store, what would you expect, but there is just so much of it! Its a little dark inside, so you cant always tell what you have found until you get out of the aisles into some better light.
