MUST READ THIS ONE IS COMING FROM A PREVIOUS EMPLOYEE I worked for this company and got fired not too long ago for filing a complaint against the thief i had for a coworker Juan Guerrero (he would pocket our tips) Kevin told me that I didnt have enough proof and that the cameras over at the warehouse do not work or record sound. (implying that i was the liar) When i asked him to switch me positions because i did not feel comfortable working with dishonest people, he refused and told me that i had to go back to work with Juan and follow the his orders. Any complaint i had I must report to him. Now how would i go about making a complaint about him to him!>? Reasons why you SHOULD NOT buy from blueprint 90% of their stuff is made in CHINA (god forbid i tell a customer that while I was working there) say a customer receives defective furniture, When they get it back to the warehouse theyll mickey mouse it and theyll try to pass it onto the next buyer in hopes that they will not notice or try and return it IF THEY FIND YOUR FURNITURE IS BROKEN OR DAMAGED while being unboxed and youre not in the room they tell us to try and mickey mouse it as much as possible so it becomes unnoticeable a few of you are probably previous customers and i would recommend you check for defects before your warranty runs out (read the back of your receipt) because I KNOW a lot probably have something broken or mickey moused and defective The driver will probably try and charge you extra fees for things he is required to do anyway If the box is opened or looks like its been re taped, Its probably used. Do not believe everything you are promised by the sales people theres a lot of false promises thrown around. Your 2 month wait will turn into 6 months to a year wait for furniture and if you try to cancel it theyll still get you for the restocking fee If for some reason the warehouse staff does not like you they will try and make your pick up a living hell (they would randomly be in a bad mood) Major scratch on that new wooden bed, Table, Credenza, Desk ect? no problem the drivers tool box is filled with crayons for filler and touch up paint! If you would like proof of any of this contact me via message I have pictures of some of the stuff, Blueprint doesnt believe in safety! thats why they do not provide their employees with back braces or gloves and if youre going to the rook to put up a sign try not to fall. They dont believe in insurance either OSHA regulations? BLUEPRINT has never heard of such thing! Oh during their Parking Lot Sales they try to sell as much of the defective furniture as they can (FINAL SALE) and the workers? they work 7 days that week and pay them the sunday cash so that overtime doesnt go into the following week. THAT IS ILLEGAL But who am i to say anything? BUYERS BEWARE this is coming from a previous employee i would buy from IKEA before buying here both furniture stores are loaded with furniture from china but at IKEA you get them for 1/3 of the price

I was referred to Blueprint by a set decorator friend and I went looking for a new sofa. I found several models I liked . With the help of my salesperson Edward we designed the model I Love. I started with a simple mid century/ modern hybrid design and we changed the legs from metal to wood, selected a beautiful deep blue grey fabric, added 4 inches to the overall width and made the seat cushions slightly softer. God I know I sound like a nightmare but Edward suggested most of these things as I mused aloud my concerns- I swear! lol. He is great to work with. All this for no extra cost! I received the sofa in less than the quoted 3 weeks and it is gorgeous. The quality of the tailoring is excellent, all the specs we agreed upon were done flawlessly and I like the fact that it was made here in LA. I failed to mention that I also bought a small artist design metal sculpted side table for $329- that looks like it would have sold for $3000- at Blackman Cruz. I highly recommend this store and it a good idea to speak to a salesperson if you dont see what you are after at a glance as they seem to customize a lot too.

I had a somewhat disastrous experience re-decorating my living room a year or so ago going with a large Southern California showroom (rhymes with Giving Faces), so i was somewhat apprehensive about picking up a few pieces for a facelift I gave to my bedroom this Spring. Luckily, it wasnt a total overhaul like my living room - just looking for a couple of accent pieces, a lamp and some accessories to spruce it up. The inventory was a lot less chaotic than looking through a showroom - everything tasteful and my style and much more accessible, and the staff were very friendly to deal with. Secondly, I really like that the delivery charges were not outlandish - I am cursed with a small car so even medium size pieces will not fit. Everything was coordinated ahead of time, the expectations about when theyd arrive were crystal clear and when they showed up, it was right on time. Very satisfied with the transaction all around. And did I mention that the prices, while commensurate to the quality of the furniture, were completely reasonable?

My search has finally ended. I didnt want to have to drive back into my old hood for furniture, but after shopping around, it became clear that I had to hit the road. I rememebered Blueprint Furniture from years ago when I bought my first "real" bedroom set. Was it still the same? I couldn belive my same sales guy was there. Okay, so he didnt remember me, but its been like 10 years. Ill make it short and sweet. Blueprint has good stuff, that you wont see everywhere. A nice variety of styles (although mostly contemporary) and they are good at what they do so youll get some design help if you need it. I picked a special fabric color, so my sofa took a little longer, but they were right on with the time estimate and Im happy that I didnt have to settle. The delivery guys were kinda charmiong in a "strong & silent" kinda way ; ) I could have save myself some time, my take away is that a good local business is worth getting back to... even if youre no longer local.

Blueprint is a diamond in the rough. My wife and I had been looking for some modern living room furniture. We must of looked at 20 places in Orange County. It seemed like they are all the same as far as the type and quality of the furniture. These guys must buy from the same wholesale place. That was not the case at Blueprint. The furniture was very cool. Excellent variety of some unique stuff. Our sales guy knocked it out of the park. He had excellent sense of style and he was very patient with us. My wife can be a bit wishy washy. We ended up buying an awesome L shaped couch made out of this fabric that almost felt like silk, but seemed was much more durable than silk. The price was a lot lower than we expected which was a nice suprise. On top of that the delivery service was very organized and on time. Its a little bit further than we normally like to go to do our shopping, but worth the drive.
