I was looking for hook and eye tape for a corset I was working on and Lincon Fabrics down the street from them didnt have much to choose from. (In fact the stuff they did have was old and dusty and I was told thats just the way everything in the store was for years and i had to take it or leave it.) Anyway Fabric Planet is smaller than Lincon fabrics, but its clean and their selection and prices are way better. I found hook and eye tap in 6 different colors, including the exact one I was looking for! The staff is helpful and really friendly. I think from now on Ill drive a couple extra blocks down Lincon past Lincon Fabrics to Fabric Plant first for all my fabric and trim needs.

I was kindly greeted by Jordan and her associate (never did catch her name unfortunately) as soon as I walked in the store. I told them I was looking for threads for Burning Man and they took me right to the section full of all kinds of weird, fuzzy, colorful, and comfy fabrics. Im not sure how their prices compare to other places as Im not too familiar with fabric stores. But they had an impressive selection, and the girls were very accommodating and fun to talk to. They also have this giant pile of misfit fabrics that you can rummage through, and everything in it is only a dollar! I will definitely be going back =]

was really happy. this is a little fabric store off of lincoln. on first glance i didnt know if i would find any fabrics that i liked. Did a little bit of searching and found some great rolls. the prices were very reasonable. I had them do the upholstering for me. they did a great job and were really friendly.

my friend Kim Chi (from RuPauls drag race) has won a gift card from them . she won the challenge and they said her card will be mailed . you can see it yourself in the episode. however she has never received her gift card yet and its been over a year! these people are not nice. they are liars
