New rating (6/8/17)after what could have been a deal breaker. Good prices for scratch and dent appliances. they actually stood by their 13month warranty In November 2016 we purchased a samsung built-in microwave, Whirlpool side by side fridge and Whirlpool dishwasher for a basement finishing project. we were very disappointed that opening the box i discovered a badly dented microwave. I dont think i looked closely when picking it, but I installed it and it worked fine, being a built-in most damage didnt show, it looks fine. finally finished kitchen a couple weeks ago and installed fridge and dishwasher.Last week I took back the dishwasher, it wasnt draining , they treated me with curtacy and took it in to figure out what was wrong. over a hour passed and receptionist came to tell me they wont be able to fix it, ok let us see how this is going to pan out. they didnt have a comparable replacement available i would have been satisfied with. but did have another that wasnt ready to go. so we agreed i would wait a week to see what others they may get in. hopefully tomorrow when i call Ill have a wonderful report to add. keeping my fingers crossed. Well, I called wensday and they said they would call me back. 2 hrs later THEY CALLED BACK gave me a model# of a replacement for me to check out and decide if it was to my liking. i asked if tomorrow would be ok to pick it up. (we live 40 miles from Lancaster) they put my name and # on sticky note, hoked it up and ran it and set it aside. it looks great and worked perfectly. still didnt give me shelf missing from fridge, but make sure you look over your purchases, even take pictures. I will definitely be going back to K&A Appliance to purchase next appliance we need.

I was disappointed in their lack of support of a the year warranty. When a fridge I bought died 6 weeks after the purchase they did come and fix it. But then it again stopped working 2 days later. They did then replace the faulty one with another model. However when again the replacement stopped working less than a year from when it was "replaced" they refused to support the warranty. To me the warranty should have been on the item (that item should work for one year), but their view point was that they would only warrant from the time of purchase of the original fridge that seemed to be a LEMON to me. I didnt expect that I was buying "one year" cobbled together of various refrigerators that keep breaking down. And, my tenant has lost three fridge-fulls of food. Also, the customer service on the phone was not pleasant or helpful or timely... they kept saying they would call me back to tell me if they would recognize the warranty but never called back. I had to keep calling. I would have appreciated just a simple answer during my first phone call so I could rectify this issue for my tenant days sooner. I explained this during one of my many calls back to K&A. I like the idea of recycling an older appliance. Seems like its good for the earth... but my vote now is go to LOWES and save yourself a lot of frustration and wasted money.

K and A has a new location. Once you wait for all the semi trailers to load and dodge fork lifts you finally meet friendly staff. They found my parts and gave me a quote 3 days later. For some reason I couldnt pay over the phone with a card. So I loaded my car up with the kids. Did I mention the new location is horrible. A retaining wall makes it impossible to pull kids out of cars seats once parked. I saw a fire red Mercedes parked directly in front of the doors running. I figured I would park where I could actually pull my kids out to run in and let them swipe my card. WRONG! The owner of the Mercedes and who I believed was the sales manager came out to her car and scolded me. The fact that their parking lot is poorly designed and I couldnt access my doors to get my children out made no difference. If this lady would have taken the time to listen I am sure there would have been positive solution. Needless to say I never paid them and went elsewhere. Imagine if you had a problem with an appliance and this lady was the one to help you. I am out $20 from having all the screws pulled out of my tires from driving through this commercial business lot. Go elsewhere, maybe somewhere managers listen and problem solved like adults.

Hi. I was at K & A Appliance this morning - 7/27/16. I urgently needed to buy a fridge and have it delivered ASAP. The sales staff in the office made it happen and said that delivery would be in 20 mins! I had just got home and the van showed up with my new fridge. Marco and Jose removed my old fridge and installed the new fridge all within about 30 mins. They were totally professional, tidy, quick - took care not to touch anything as they navigated these large appliances in and out of my house! I was so impressed with the service, beginning in the showroom, where I was told that delivery couldnt happen until next week - (the salesperson was so kind and sensed my desperation and made it all happen) - to now having a brand new affordable fridge sitting in my kitchen, level, plugged in and ready to go to work. I am so pleased to have come into your showroom today. I will absolutely recommend, not just your vast inventory, but fantastic customer service from start to finish. Thanks so much!

Very disappointed with my second buying experience, which included the delivery and installation of a NEW appliance. However they could not complete the installation, so the appliance never left the delivery truck (which was an hour late). Thats understandable, but what Im most dissatisfied with is that after a full week of phone calls, phone tag, and borderline "good customer service" I am still waiting to be informed of a refund. Initially I was informed of their non-refundable policy, but I reminded them that my purchase also included delivery, installation, and removal of the old appliance, which did not happen! At this point I am waiting to hear what amount they will credit me for the purchase, and of course Ive been informed of a restocking fee of possibly 30% which is double of what is practiced elsewhere.

Worst experience ever with an appliance retailer. I bought several pieces from them for a rental property. After being delivered they installed the pieces that could be installed due to construction at the property. After about two months of construction I plugged the refrigerator in and the ice machine wasnt working and the oven door was not closing. They agreed after several frustrating calls to come out and look at the appliances that have not ever been used. The owner wanted to charge me 70 dollars to plug in a part that was never right from when it was delivered. The tenants moved in and the washer/dryer combination belt broke after its first day of use. Of coarse they dont want to stand behind there warranty and blame everyone else.

I purchased a used washer and dryer from K&A Appliance a couple of months ago. The dryer started overheating and quit working today, so I called them to see if they could send someone out to look at it (since most everything they sell is under warranty). A repairman came out half an hour after I made the call, and it took him 10 minutes to fix. Thank you, guys, for your excellent service! Its very much appreciated!
