so I came to this place after trying the other place and got lowballed so I left and went to this pawn shop. The minute I went inside the rap music was loud and this guy had his feet on the counter so I went to the other guy that was cleaning a radio and aske if he buy gold and he said yes and I tryed to hand it to him and the other guy jumped up and and put his hand there to get it from me it was like a surprise! So he goes behind this big desk and i cant see what hes doing but I know whats there and he says how much do I want and I say what is your offer and said where else did i go and i didnt tell him I went to the other place. and he says that he can do 243 but he could push iot to 250 and I said no thanks I just want it back and he says wait a minute and he will call the owner to see and he asked me again how much do I want and I said alot more than 250 and just give me my rings back and now im getting mad and I had to ask him again and said I be back but I didnt go. I went to the valentines diamond place cause it says they buy gold stuff and the guy said he would give me 550! without me even saying anything so I will go there next time to.

I have had the pleasure of being a repeat customer because of the way I was treated from the get go. I was scared when I walked in the door because I didnt know what to expect. I also had a lot of items I had to part with so feeling a bit "stressed" was an understatement. But from the moment they all greeted me...that stress left me and we began to share stories. So I entered the store as a stranger but left that store as a friend. They are more than fair and always explain the process. I HIGHLY recommend giving these guys a shot if you are in need of some cash but want your merchandise back. Even when you are ready to part with your stuff and just need cash...these guys will give you the absolute best quote around. The worst that can happen is you refuse their offer but bartering is also worth a try. For me, I was acknowledged from the minute I walked through the front door plus respected all through this process. Thank you for all you do to complete a transaction in a friendly, caring manner. That store is the absolute cleanest pawn shop I have ever been in! Usually there is dust and gloom in most shops, not this one. A very good selection of laptops (which is why I was there) some of the others I have been to dont even carry laptops, there are also stereos, flat screen tvs, cell phones and A LOT of tools if youre into that..not to mention very nice looking jewelry. Yes I am gushing in this review because I not only was treated well but I got a GREAT deal on a newish laptop. The person I dealt with (Mark) was very knowledgeable about the computers and he said they also offer computer repair at half what a PC repair place charges, and if it isnt fixed there is no charge...and hey I know nothing about computers so that will come in handy.

I bought a lawn mower here and it stopped working a couple weeks after. They tried to sell me another lawn mower completely overpriced after I tried to start 4 other mowers that would not start. I then bought a weed wacker from them that stopped working 10 minutes into using it for the first time. I used the proper gas/oil mix but it didnt matter. I also bought a framing nail gun that was broken. I didnt realize until I got it home and hooked it up to my air compressor. I know you take a risk when buying things at pawn shops but These people buy junk for cheap then sell the junk over priced. Ive had much better luck at the pawn shops in ansonia.

Went in to try and sell a bike I dont use. While we couldnt come to an agreement, at no point were the guys condescending or rude. They were professional and honest. One reviewer said loud rap music was playing when he went in - I dont think any music was playing when I went in and the desk seems a little high up even from their side to be putting their feet up. Go in understanding that its a business, youre not going to get what the item is worth - how would a pawn shop stay in business if they paid you what the item is worth. Dont be dense. Id definitely come back to sell an item taking up too much space and just wanted a few quick bucks.

I wanted to say this pawn shop is an excellent place when I first came to this palace I didnt know what to expect I walked in and it was hello how are you and how can I help you it was my very first time doing anything like that but a young gentleman by the name of Jake was very kind and very helpful I also have met his brother and father and they are very nice people they are fare with all negotiations its very clean and friendly now every time I come in I get greeted by my name I will keep coming and recommend this place to everyone who needs to sell or pawn I trust them

The guys here are really great. The two brothers that work here really take pride in what they are doing and arent there to try and low ball anyone. I would recommend this Pawn Shop over any other in the area just on the fact alone that they always give me the highest prices. On top of that they are some very nicest guys and are really willing to work with you on anything that they could resell. I will only use this Pawn Shop in the future. A++

I went to this place because their sign says "A Nice Pawn Shop" and they arent kidding. Ive been to many sketchy places but Milford Pawn is a very friendly and personable place. I have pawned a few thing here as well as purchased some items. Fair pricing, fair negotiating and nice employees. I highly recommend this place as they have a wide variety of inventory as well.
