My Name is A. Simpson, We took our Miniature Schnauzer, Lacey, into the store to be groomed we had let her hair grow out just a bit since in Minot it has been -25 with the wind chill for weeks. We wanted her to be cut in the standard Female Schnauzer as she was to be in an upcoming dog show with our breeders in Grand Junction, CO. on 2-14-14. When we picked her up from there store she had been butchered and all of the hair that make the skirt and facial look of a Schnauzer was gone she weighs around 6lbs and will need a year to get her look back. When I complained to the stylist she left me on hold for thirty minutes and suggested I call some one in management, I spoke to Shawn the Manager who told me they did the best they could considering how she looked when we dropped her off. All of our pets are Champions, and well taken care of, this stores grooming department and staff ARE VERY INEXPERENCIED AND UNDERSTAFFED. We will drive hundreds of miles to another groomer before we would allow these AMATURES to touch an animal of ours. Use caution and BEWARE of the grooming Department and there TODDLERS with clippers. It got to the point I had lost it with the Manager, which is wrong but our pets are like children dont JACK WITH THEM. and blame others for your inadequacies. A.R. Simpson

Came in looking for a pet rat at about 6:00pm, there werent many empolyees in the store on a saturday evening, but it didnt take longer than a minute to find someone. The employee we found was busy putting some stock away but immediately helped out and found someone who could help us with the rats. The lady who helped us with the rats also owned rats and was helpful talking about rats and when/how long their rats had been in the store. We came back the next day to get the first rat a friend, both employees recognized us and helped us pick out another rat, and asked us to stop by sometime to let them know how theyre doing. There was one employee the second day who wasnt too friendly, but she looked pretty young and had just helped a rude customer, very understandable. If you are new to rats I would recommend finding a breeder that handles them more; I have three Petco rats, and while all three are healthy, they have all needed a little extra attention to get them to be holdable/playful.

So incredibly unhappy with the experience we just had. Having just moved to the area we were very pleased to see a Petco and get two of the four girls in for grooming (the other two were scheduled for next week). Our long haired chihuahua and Papillon were brought in. It was quick (less than an hour and a half) but they hadnt trimmed up the private parts AND (the worst thing is) they cut the ear feathers off the papillon (what a sad sad sight). When I called to complain I was given an "oh well" attitude and accused us of "ordering" it which is blatantly false. We will not be returning.

I went to the store tonight to buy a Betta fish, and I was not welcomed the clerk was busy talking to her friend, and as me and a friend searched for a fish and supplies we never got asked if we needed help, and they close the store at 9pm and we did not know that the lady come over at 9:03pm and was very rude and said they where closed. and we had to leave, witch I was fine with but she knew we where purchasing items and did not ask if we found everything alright, or needed any help at all. not very happy about my visit to this store...

Its not PetSmart, but when PetSmart isnt an option PetCo will do. There are a lot of other mom and pop shops around town, but unlike Arizona they are actually more expensive than this retail giant. PetCo carries Merrick Holiday meals which is important to me because during the holidays I want my pet to partake in a same feast. Sometimes they have some great items on clearance and you can get Kong quality items for $5. I wouldnt send my mother in law to their groomer though.

Worst customer service ever. Everytime I go in this store you have to find someone to help you. Went in today toget a couple fish for my tank. 10 people standing there to get a fish. The employee is standing there not helping anyone. I walked out and went elsewhere. I will not go back to this store. Get it together people.

Petco is life! This Petco in particular has helped my always find the products for my pooches and the staff checked labels with me to find the food with the most fish protein for my allergic pug. Kehau, the gal that does obedience classes is a treasure and is always ready to help, in class or not.

Kelsey in the Grooming Shop is awesome! Both employees working in there did a great job handling the amount of dogs they had to groom for the day, and were friendly and on time. Price was affordable too. Our 100 lb black lab came out smelling great from his vanilla bath and blueberry facial!

We bring our puppy here for regular nail trims and haircuts and she legitimately loves going, once she sees the store she starts freaking out and cant wait to get inside. All the girls are really friendly and they do a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend!

They told me to bring my dog in for grooming at 730am and Noone was there. When a lady did come in she acted like they never allow that. Very unprofessional to tell your customers one thing and then not show up. Wont be back again.
