I visited the store for a routine tire check/rotation for the tires I bought on July 4th weekend. I arrived there quarter to 5p on Jan 2, 2017. Waited for 1.5 hours. When finally, I was the last one left and everyone that came in after me have all been served and left, and past their closing time, I had to approach one of the reps to find out about my vehicle. She told me it was done about an hour ago. What!!?? She told me that they had called my name. I can only assume that its when Ive gone to the restroom. What I dont understand is that if no one comes forward when his/her name is called, it didnt occur to them that maybe the person could be in the restroom? They knew I stayed to wait because I had no other vehicle to use to leave their premises. They could have tried calling my name again after a little while. I wouldnt have to patiently wait for an hour for nothing. What a waste of my time!! But no, they said they were so busy, they couldnt have possibly done it. Again, at my expense!! I asked to speak with the manager and his lousy excuse is that they typically check at 6p when they close for any customer around but wasnt able to because he was in the office doing the "books" as if it was my problem to deal with. Again, at my expense!! I shouldnt have done business with Discount Tire. I was lured into it when they had the mail in rebates promo on 4th of July. I shouldve just stayed with Les Schwab. Now, Im stuck with them for the routine tire checks until I need new tires and it wont be with them thats for sure.

Discount tires for Discount services. Ive been going to this location for years, and today is the last day. I showed up 15 minutes earlier then when the store opened to drop off my vehicle to have my wheels re-balanced. A week earlier I had the wheels rotated. Terrible customer service. I was greeted at the door to be told I was too earlier, then I simply said Im just dropping the vehicle off am will return later to get it, not in a hurry. The employee with a temperate of a five year old - moped around like I was creating an inconvenience for him. Giving no consideration of my schedule, and the inconvenience it creates for customers to have to return to have work redone. Poor attitude - plus several other employees scattered. I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER. There must have been five employees. These past several years, this location has lost center caps, valve covers, given me keys to other customers vehicles, failed to delivered on promised mail in rebates, incorrectly balanced my wheels on several occasions, handed me other customers custom lug nut locks, and more. The prices are not even better than other tire shops that have much higher customer value and appreciation. Do yourself, your friends, and family a favor - go elsewhere. I believe Discount Tire has forgotten who keeps them in business.

This is the WORST discount tire location. I made an appointment for 3:30 pm to have new tires put on. I was told my car would be done in about 45 minutes. My car wasnt taken into the shop until 4:30. My car was not returned to me until 5:15. I was never updated on my vehicles status through my entire wait in their lobby. They broke my lug nut cover. When I told Austin at the front desk that over an hour and a half was unacceptable he proceeded to tell that that his guys had the car into the bay quick enough to have it done on time and that he didnt know what was wrong with my car, I shook my head and left. He and I both know that isnt true when they are so busy that my appointment time was exceeded by an entire hour. He also blamed the lug nut cover on my vehicle. Though they did offer to replace it, I let him know that I would never be returning. I will happily buy replace my own lug nut cover to never have to deal with this location again. Discount Tire is a great chain, but this location is the worst I have ever used. Never again.

If you appreciate or value your wheels do not go here. THESE GUYS WILL DAMAGE YOUR WHEELS. Tldr- damaged wheel and center cap, I had to put wheel on myself. I came in right before they opened to have a tire that caught a screw plugged. They struggled to get the wheel off, and once they had it off proceeded to DROP THE WHEEL FLAT ON ITS FACE causing cosmetic damage. If these where nice expensive wheels like a BBS or similar youd have some costly damage. Lucky for me these were factory alloys some teenager previously spray painted. When they dropped the wheel, they dropped it on top of the center cap, breaking it beyond use. And then to top it off, I HAD TO PUT THE WHEEL BACK ON. All the kid did was torque them down. These guys are careless hacks.

This stores emplyees lie and manipulate you in to buying their services. I called and asked how much they charge to mount 4 tires I have. They guy on phone said 10 dollars. Ok sold great deal. I arrive get the ticket wrote up total comes to 68 dollars. Im like no I wad qoute 10. He replies thats for snow tire purchased here it additional 3 dollars to balance. Ok whatever im here. Well not really think additional 3 per tire doesnt add up. So after they finish my car look at bill it is 10 dollars per tire to balance 3 dollars to mount and 3 dollars to dismount. Lesson learned. Will not deal witha shop that does not make it clear in what it reall cost. Be for warned to ask for a written qoute so they can not manipulate the charges to force you to commit

I purchased a set of four Continental DWSs from Discount Tire for my Acura TL for less that I would have paid even on Tire Rack (after shipping factored in). Aside from the price being right, they were very accomodating and courteous with my first rotation (rotations are free BTW). They had no problem looking at the balance on the tires as well when I told them I had a slight vibration. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, no charge, and the vibration is gone. Ill definitely be back at the end of summer to put a set on my wifes van. Ive typically used Tire Rack but with Discount Tires low prices, service and the convenience, Ill probably shop here for most of my future needs.

Ive been coming to discount tire in west jordan for years now, they are the best, hands down the best customer service ever. Tonight, I got a nail in my tire, I called them 10 mins before they closed, Shawn the manager answered, I told him I had a nail in my tire, I asked is it too late, he said come down. I walked in, Grant at the front counter helped me, very friendly guy. They are fixing my tire now. DISCOUNT TIRE THANK YOU SO MUCH. I tell everybody to go to discount tire, you will not be disappointed. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Called for a quote and was told a price. Arrived and checked in with no update on any price changes. When I went to leave there were additional costs that were not told to me and would have been fine except I only had a certain amount, the one they told me. Charged me for insurance on tires that I didnt want. Their option for resolving it was not sufficient and I am not happy with how my experience there went. Discount has always been fair an up front with me I then past but this last experience soured me.
