Recently stopped by the sea food counter to purchase live lobster which were on sale. I was looking for six 1.5lb. - 2 lb. sizes. I asked the counter man what sizes he had. He replied that they were running about 1.25 lbs. When I asked if he would mind checking for larger sizes he stated very curtly that he was too busy to check. I would have to be happy with what he selected. When he had weighted out four lobsters he informed me that there was a five pound limit. My total weight of 5.5 lbs. would need to be reduced to three lobsters as I was over the weight limit. I told him I needed six lobsters and would he allow an exception. The answer was no. I told him I would pay for the three lobsters and then return from the car to buy three more. The counter man was fine with that idea. How ridiculous and inconvenient for me the customer to wait in line twice just to comply with his five pound limit rule! I have purchased lobster there previously and have always exceeded the so-called five lb. limit. The counter man was not customer service oriented at all! He should take a trip down the street to Wegmans for some schooling in customer service etiquette. He might see me there purchasing my lobsters.

Many of these comments are very unfair or ill informed. Claiming a specific item gave you food poisoning? Unless if thats the only thing you ate in 3 days, then it could be a variety of things. And claiming that the items arent fresh or from local farms is just plain stupid. Look into a store before claiming that. I have been given a tour of this shoprite personally (No, I dont work for ShopRite, or ever have). All food items, from the bakery to the deli to the Coffee Shop to the Fish / Sea food, it is all grown or raised locally. the average freezer is -2 degrees or less for items that have to be kept cool in storage, and if any of these comments got to the team, they would instantly have a meeting first thing in the morning (In what they call, "a huddle") and discuss what could have gone wrong, and what can they do to stop it. I mean, the store PAYS YOU if you find anything expired, or almost expired on the shelves..... amazing store that cares a lot about the community and gives back to numerous organizations.

My experience was horrible today with Jay at customer service. All I wanted to cash in my lottery ticket, which he did. I also had a few items in my cart like five small things, but he didnt want to check me out. He stated because there was a line, which it was only two people behind me and one of them was getting check out by the other employee. The prior customer was checked out and whatever else he went to customer service for. I didnt say anything when he refused to check me out, but I went to speak to a manager. I approached a manager, which he was the front end manager on 12/24/2016 @ 12 noon. He wasnt very helpful either...just blow me off and kept walking like I wasnt saying anything to him of some significance. I was treated very rude and its sad that people that far in age have no manners. It shouldnt get any stars because of thier lack of customer service.

I am not sure why this is an issue but I recommend NO ONE uses shoprit from home you spending a decent amount to pay for them to shop for you plus the delivery and then your vegetables are ALWAYS MOLDY. WHO WANTS THAT. Then if you call to make a complaint your only option from the managers is a refund for the loss product on your next order or to go to the store itself for a refund. This is not the first time this has happened to me and this is not the only store having this issue. I will take the loss at this point and never use them again since they are careless with the shopping and careless about how to handle the issue. They advise they will address this to the staff but clearly they have not. If they had just offered to redeliver the issue items I would have been happy but apparently its not an option.

Not sure how this super market stays in business.. - High prices, The meat prices are horrifically high. It is so insanely frustrating that they get away with boning the public with meat prices this high and folks dont say/do anything about it.. - produce quality terrible, Grow house stuff, NO local grown produce (tons of farms within 20 miles of this town and we cant get a good tomato? Or a legit head of lettuce? its not difficult to get a good tomato around here people. - produce pricing is astronomic. - Store layout is confusing.. - isles are very narrow, hard to shop with anything more than 3 people in the isle.

Shop-rite prices are too high in seafood, vegetables, fruits, milk products, poultry products, etc.Seafood section is totally empty all times.Acme offers better deal in sea food items.Produce,Aldi offers the cheapest price of produce in Warminster.Indian stores are cheapest in produce in Philadelphia.Dry foods like almonds, walnuts, pistachios are cheapest and good in quantity in Indian stores than any other stores.Coupons in shoprite are issued on useless items.Which are not sold.

Lol. Do yourself a favor and ignore the exaggerated reviews. Most expensive meats? Must be living in a cave because shop rite has the cheapest meat prices by far!! Rude staff??? Really? Everyone has always been more than helpful. Deli crew especially. Good laughs from the guy who said the aisles arent wide enough. Lamest complaint ever. Drop a few pant sizes or realize that its a grocery store. Not a private pantry. Best grocery store in the area. Take my word for it

Items on sale are often very good deals, but I have noticed that many non-sale items are more expensive that the non-sale prices at competing markets. For example, a particular breakfast cereal that I like was over $5 at Shoprite, but $3.69 at one competitor and $3.99 at another. Inventory and depth of choice is very good. Shoprite carries some frozen vegetables that other stores do no have at all. The PNC bank branch inside the store is a plus.

I do most of my major shopping here. I used to be near a Redners and I dont miss it at all. This is an extremely courteous, friendly store. But the sales are out of this world. For many, many major items, I can count on half price savings with just a little judicious shopping. Plus they have some great managers specials in the seafood department. I am grateful this store is so close to me.

This Shoprite is full of racist employees everytime I go in there the staring is so uncomfortable I am Hispanic and been through alot of racial profiling and am experienced in the matter they have no hispanics working they and maybe one or two African American all the managers are white snobs especially the woman and they are also the most racist especially the front end ones.

Good place to shop. Located in a convenient area to get to, near other big name shopping and department stores. Parking here is abundant. They run specials as listed in its store curricular on a regular basis. Would highly recommend shopping here. Good value, great food

Even though I have about 10-15 closer grocery stores, we always drive to this shop rite. Great selection and the BEST prices in the area. The store pickup option is great for those who dont have time to shop.
