This is the most vile place Ive ever had the displeasure of visiting. The floors are littered with roaches, the shelves are lined with rat feces, moths, and other insects that have nibbled at the pet food. The service itself is abhorrent as well, particularly from the management. On my most recent visit to the store (I try to come here as rarely as possible), I walked into the dog food aisle to buy my usual product. The employees who work the shelves are nice enough and are always willing to help. On this particular instance I was greeted by an employee named Marc, who gave helpful advice on some some advice on wet food I could try to help with my dogs picky eating. I went up to the front and picked up a dog toy that was on sale, where I discovered there was some dirt and chew marks on it. I asked the cashier if I could have a discount on the product given its poor state, and she said it shouldnt be a problem, though shell have to call a manager over to confirm the discount. Fair enough. She brought over Ben, who crossly told me I couldnt have a discount on the item. I asked if there was someone else I could speak to, so another manager was brought over by the name of Scott. When he was informed of the situation, he scoffed and had a "seriously?" look on his face as he told me I couldnt have the discount, and if I kept pestering them Id have to leave the store. My friends have told me bad stories of the management prior to this, but never have I experienced something this abhorrent first-hand. To anyone reading this review, avoid this Petco at all costs. While the front-end employees are nice enough and the grooming saloon is worked by talented individuals, the management could not be any worse than it already is.

Petco typically has the materials that I need for my puppy, Kizzy. Petco also has an excellent low-cost clinic for vaccines. The vet that administered the vaccines was super sensitive and gentle with Kizzy. This review is primarily addressing the grooming shop, which leaves a lot to be desired. The shop itself is disgusting. Dog hair everywhere while employees are standing around idly. The customer service is piss poor. I took Kizzy in to get her nails trimmed. The groomer that clipped her nails was not gentle with Kizzy. Shes only five months and about three pounds. Fortunately, he didnt make her bleed or anything. After he clipped her nails, I requested additional grooming services. The groomer actually sighed after I made my request. He had zero interest in doing his job. It was simply rude, and I decided to take my business elsewhere. I would recommend the vet, the store, and trainers. However, do not take your pet to the groomer here!!! #CityExperts

Im not a Petco fan, but I found the staff at this store to be exceptional. I watched a young woman in the pet department work very patiently with a stubborn customer, doing her best to get him the right (and I, as a hobbyist, can confirm) information. When I asked for her assistance with the reptiles she got her manager, who was better with them. Another appreciated action; he was equally helpful and even pointed me in the direction of a small shop that might have what I was looking for. Though I did not find what I needed, it was an altogether positive experience.

Not a fav location. I find the staff unhelpful and unnowledgeable. Parking is difficult on the side of the center but petco prices and standard selection is good for many, though they do not carry nor will special order for me products I have purchased in other cities, I was told go online. Not my usual petco pleasure. Frequent or large spenders can enjoy the rewards program but I have started shopping at a specialty store in the area and find it more affordable, better staff and service. It is one of the only places to purchases small animal products in the area

Its OK, but just OK. My kids have 3 tree frogs they need to feed, so I need to buy *live* bugs. They usually only stock crickets, but more often than not, they sit on a shelf and die. By the time I get to them on Sunday, most of the containers are dead, and I have to ask someone to get a bag of fresh crickets from the back room. But, they only have small or large in the back. My frogs need mediums. I think they need to tend to the containers on the shelves, and freshen them up each day, so customers get what theyre paying for. My frogs dont eat dead crickets.

Im very happy with my experience at this petco. Staff is very helpful and they are always there to give you good advise. Ive been there many times to buy stuff for my fish tanks and I really like this place. I recently found a nice aquarium on sale online on their website but it was only on sale on the site, I then ask one of the staff if they would give it to me for the same price as online and she said yes. Its a new policy that they have! Yay! Please notice that this is only "price match" with their own website. I think ;) Overall good experience!

Witnessed the manager of this store abandon an overwhelmed cashier, and then return and loudly blame her for the line that had formed. The poor girl was doing her best with a complex return and her manager was beyond useless and borderline abusive. Id rather shove forks in my eyes than work for someone like that. Awful. We call this place "the worst Petco in the Universe"

my dog is a little difficult sometimes but they had no problem with her at Petcos grooming salon. They do a good job. The salon could probably be run a bit more professionally but overall I have no complaints. Also the product selection is pretty good at Petco - they have some items they dont carry at Petsmart.

They have great supplies and pretty good grooming, but all their rodents come with little bugs that suck blood. Not only that, those bugs only come to unchanged bedding, which means that they dont take good enough care of their animals!

I am not from this area, so I was hesitant about grooming at this location. I am very happy with the sanitary cut they gave my pomeranian. I will be bringing him here more when I am in the area. It was affordable too.

Aquariums are very dirty and never clean. I always listen to the employees giving false advice on starting an aquarium to beginners. Only reason I go here is because of the great prices on its products.

I take m Shih-Tzu here for Grooming. He absolutely loves Max, who we first met when he was working at the Germantown location. the employees at this location are always helpful and pleasant.

Very happy with my experience. Found great, non-toxic toys that our dog loves and an awesome harness. Great selection and fun to bring your dog and mingle with the other glorious canines.

I have found that their inventory is not only heavily weighted towards dogs, but also fish. They have many different types of fish but the people there are not always helpful.
