Please do not support this store. The condition of the animals appears great at first look, but if you get close you can see that the ferrets are purchased from a ferret mill called Marshall farms. Many of the fish are sick and if you bring them home you can say goodbye to your tank because disease in fish spreads quickly. The bird cages have had visible rust on them for months which is toxic to birds. The leopard geckos are housed on sand which can be fatal if ingested and is not recommended by any veterinarian I know. Most items in the store can be purchased for less money from online stores. Also, purchasing products from an online store means not supporting a store that keeps its animals in such conditions and refuses to hire people who have any sort of idea what they are doing. Save your money (and your pets) and do not support this place.

We have gone here near weekly for fish and supplies for quite some time. We can no longer go here. The groomers are rude and condescending. I felt like I was such a bother to her I apologized. I had only asked to schedule a grooming. There is one guy that is in the fish section almost any time we have been there. He is helpful, but makes up answers that a google search will prove wrong. The prices here are always higher. I asked for a membership discount card and was told by the person working the register they do not do that. I had to go online to get the discount card. Overall this place is not worth going to.

A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Check out these! This is the level of customer service that we get when we come here. I absolutely love how friendly the staff is and how well organized the store is. They went above and beyond making Sweet Baby Ray (thats my dog) feel so welcome. They gave him a treat, and even when he put his flat face nose up at it- they went back and found one he thought was more tasty. Now that is investing in your customer. I wish I lived closer so I could go every week!

They will price match other stores but not their own website. They also do not offer pick-up in store like PetSmart. So essentially, I am purchasing these items, will use them in the meantime and order the cheaper on-line price from their own website and return the used ones. Idiotic and not consumer friendly at all. Match your own prices like a normal business will.

Groomer was EXCEEDINGLY rude. Their prices are high. Their quality is hit or miss. Their people dont seem to be well-trained. I have even seen them ask someone to leave because they didnt know what kind of dog food their dog liked. Wow! Im never going back. That was embarrassing for me....I cant imagine how the other customer felt.

A really well managed store and always stocked. The staff is always helpful and I consistently get great service. Bryan in Grooming is outstanding and is very patient. I remember they stayed open when we had a major power outage because the were able to get a huge generator in very quickly.

I have used the grooming salon for almost 6 months now and love the service. My two poodles come out looking fantastic and both the groomers are so kind and gentle to my pets! The price cant be beat in the Northern Virginia area. I highly recommend these groomers for dogs.

Recently went there on a Saturday night (half hour before closing) and was blown away by the customer service. I was in the process of setting up a new salt water aquarium and Cody got me squared away. BEST service I have received from any major retailer in a very long time.

Unfortunately my experience was not positive. Discrepancy of 30 minutes on appointment time. Customer of course is wrong, okay, but the way they handled the situation was not customer service. Repeat customer who has never been late OR a no show.

I cannot speak to the ferret farm situation or hte sick fish, but the pet grooming employee Bryan is EXCELLENT. He was very sweet to my nervous basset hound who needed trimmed nails. He did a great job and was very quick and polite. Kudos to Bryan!
