Order was delayed for pick-up then I was given a floor model without knowing although I paid full new product price. The item came wrapped in bubble wrap with the screws in a zip lock baggie with no directions. It had the wrong size allen wrench in the baggie, missing washers, 2 stripped screws and one of the bolts on the table was bent so it would not fit into the leg until I bent it with pliers. The table was scratched. Noticing all of this as I assembled it then seeing how the matching bench for the table was neatly packed in a box with directions etc. of course led me to my conclusion that the table was a floor model. When I called the store, the first person denied it was a floor model. The manager fessed up then he connected me to another woman who offered reparations. Im still waiting to see the credit on my credit card... very disappointing experience. Will not be back or reccomend value city for their dishonesty.

This place is a joke. Seriously dont waste your time going in here. My story dates back to a year plus ago and then ends up to the present. When I first moved, my mother bought a bedroom set from this location in particular. She paid it off CASH and was waiting for it to be delivered. It took them 3 WHOLE DAYS to call her to inform her that her bed would be delivered the FOLLOWING week on Thursday. So shes like ok, Ill wait. It had already been 2 weeks. Long story short. They ended up initially delivering the wrong mattress and with a HASSLE, finally got compensated for their mistake. Now fast forward 1 year later I was looking fora bed room for my self but Id be paying monthly. My salesman was very helpful. But the people at Acceptance Now are joke. I was quoted a price then a manager came and told her I had to pay more. I just politely declined. Never again

This has absolutely been the worst experience in purchasing & customer service I have ever had over all. The merchandise arrived to my home missing pieces and in need of reapair. I was told that I could not recieve service for several days and it would be even longer if I chose a replacement. In less than a years time of owning a sofa/loveseat combo, I have had at least 3 tech visits for repairs and am currently waiting on replacements since 10/15/12 which were only supposed to take 4-6 weeks to come in. And even after my patience, understanding and forgiveness for faulty merchandise and misguided info I still get b.s. excuses and nothing but run-around when it comes to them producing satisfactory results. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE, OR ADVISE THE PURCHASE OF ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE AGAIN!!

So I went to Value City Furniture not satisfied with the bed frame & mattress accidentally shipped to my house (vs the one I originally picked). I explained the error to management but told them Id keep it see if I grew on it or not instead of the breaking it down & shipping it back. Well it never grew on me & ended with sleep issues now resorting to sleeping on the couch after a couple months . Was THRILLED when the manager there offered to completely swap it for me! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MANAGEMENT! Plus I paid about $100 more difference & now have a bomb bedroom set being delivered to my house next week with FREE DELIVERY. I AM THRILLED W THIS STORE & THEIR SERVICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE! Joe and Dan are both great managers

Nice, sturdy furniture. We ordered a dining room set, and its beautiful. However, they cannot get their act together and deliver what we actually ordered. Called multiple times to the call center and even spoke to Mo (our salesman). Mo didnt listen to us, he only wanted to get credit for our sale. Once the table was delivered with the wrong chairs I called and spoke to Kenya at the call center. She said she would order our new chairs (this was 4/15/17). A week passed and we called back...order for new chairs was never entered, but they said theyd take care of it. Our new chairs were supposed to be delivered 5/6/17...still nothing! Going to call back tomorrow and most likely get the run around again.

absolute worst place to ever buy furniture from. Where do I begin, First they send me a bunk bed that came with the pcs broken, dressers scratched up, then send me the wrong mattress, takes them another week to get the right one. Then they bring an extra box spring and tell me they would be back to pick it up tomorrow, well a week later the dam box spring was still sitting in my living room. When you call to complain you get an attitude from the employees on the phone like there incompetence is somehow your fault . Place is a complete joke from upper management to the desk ppl answering phones. Will definitely never shop there again and I suggest you dont either.

Worst store ever! The sales person was nice, but other than him this place sucks.They first called me to say that my oder was going to be delayed a few days. They gave my infomation to some other client a month after my purchase was made. Now this other person is calling me telling me he has my name,phone number, address and who know what other information. Costumer care calls me to tell me that my oder will be deliver finally this weekend. the next day the warehouse calls me and says that they will only deliver 1 item. I talked to a manager and all he can say is Im sorry that your information was giving out... I will never go to this location again

Highly recommended that you dont go there. Waited 2 hours to pickup a recliner at the end they gave me the wrong recliner.Spoke to their customers care and was told that I either get my refund or get the recliner.Unfortunately,my sales agent was not their to talk to so, I got my refund and left. They acted like everything was my falt. On top of that I bought a mattress from them and it took them a month and half for it to be delivered. Their customers care /management is joke .

My wife and i furnished our previous apartment from VC dearborn three years ago. We moved to Warren city three months ago and we decided to purshase our new furniture from VC Dearborn again. I really likes the sales woman there her name is TAMI she is so nice and helpful, also the manager is professional and I saw him many times help the clients and did his best to satisfy them all. I would like to give 10 stars to VC Dearborn. Keep going the great job.

The worst experience Ive ever had at any business or retailer ever. Dont go to them for anything. They will treat you like a king or a queen until you purchase. Once you have an issue they will treat you like crap. Dont believe their warranty, it is a scam. Even their main corporate office are liars. Its been one year since I filed for my warranty and I received nothing but lies and a complete runaround.

Went in to buy a jar. Took freaking forever. Told them I was in a hurry. Called me rude. Told them I was NOT rude, just stating the facts. Took their time, all the while, making sugary comments to each other. Truly an ugly, unprofessional group of wound too tight women. As I was leaving, mocked me by shouting have a good day, bless you, thanks for stopping by. Again, ugly!
