The new Cherians building is very spacious and very well organized. Fresh vegetables were decently priced and the Indian spices/grocery aisles were stocked well with almost all popular brands. Prices were similar or some what better than some other stores. The best part about the store was the clean and spacious aisles. We actually saw the store management walking around frequently ordering the cleaning crew to keep everything up to standards. Cherians also carried a frozen vegetables and prepared foods from all brands and some brands that we havent ever heard before. There is also a dedicated section for kitchen utensils and some electronics. Would definitely recommend if they continue to maintain the store the way it was when I visited and if you are looking for a clean/organized Indian grocery store, this could be your answer.

Shopped here on a neighbors advice, and glad that I stopped in. The produce department offered fresher vegetables; best-looking onions Ive seen in any grocery. The rest of the store was clean, and everything is in apple-pie order. On entering, it looks very Western, but it is definitely mostly South Asian in inventory and patronage. Herbs/spices department extremely well-stocked. Any kind of dal you want is there. The in-house coconut drink was refreshing, and the prepared foods counter is very appealing. Good selection of sweets too. And, the incense inventory was beyond expectation. Lots of durable goods for sale, including cooking implements. I look forward to my next shopping trip.

Indian Grocery Store and Cafe I really prefer shopping at Cherians compared to Patel Brothers. Cherians is smaller, with fewer vegetable selections, but I have found their vegetable selection to be fresher than Patel Brothers. The staff has always been friendly. Prices are pretty good also. Cafe The best place to get a Masala Dosa in town! I love their dosas. Theyre tasty and pretty inexpensive compared to some of the other Indian eateries nearby. The staff has always treated me well. They do tend to get busy, so expect small lines during peak lunch hours.

Probably the best Indian/Asian supermarket I have visited so far in UK/US, though not the largest. The shop was reasonably clean, compared to rest of the Indian shops; and was smelling decent! These are the two negative things in any Indian shop, but not at Cherians. Prices were reasonable, the vegetables were fresh. Also, there are many brands to select from for the packed items. The staff were also helpful and courteous. overall it was a satisfied experience after I visited this shop last Saturday.

So I enjoy shopping at international food stores but this place was a bit of a mess. You need to check the expiration dates on the items! I ended up purchasing some snacks and didnt think to read the label clearly. The items was from 1 year before!!!! It had gone bad. I definitely would say if you want to shop here you must read all the labels. Also their shelves were quite sparse so it made no sense that the items was missed to be pulled.

Great Indian grocery store. They tend to be more expensive than farmers market for produce. But its a great place to purchase exotic indian specialties such as breakfast mixes and achar or frozen indian meals. I will say their spices tend to be dual flavored as I have found stronger spices else where in atlanta. I probably shop once a month for indian supplies. Staff is very friendly!

Bad experience with customer service for exchange of expired cookies.. usually I visit this store almost every week but they were not able to exchange one expired cookie just because i dont have a receipt and even they dont have any billing data available with the prior dates other than current .... Will think twice to visit this store again !!

Our go to Indian grocery store. The produce is good most of the time. Fresh coconut water and sugarcane juice available. Its not best but they have all different products. Where as in Patel brothers you will find only Swad products which basically Patel brothers brand. Good frozen items available too. Good and different varieties of groceries.

Lots of empty boxes on the shelves. No one approaches you to ask if you need help. Not a single employee greets you or speaks to you. Once I was done bumbling around the young man saw me in the line with a few items and he opened a register to check me out. Some how that gesture made the visit alright.

Large south Indian selection of groceries as well as other stuff. Definitely can find everything Indian in this store and lot more selection than the smaller cherian in cumming. Great customer service. Fresh snacks by the check out counter. The Samosas were delicious. Has lots of parking.

I always have a good experience with the products and staff here! The service is great, really standing out from other Indian stores Ive visited, and the produce prices cant be beat by any of the area grocery stores or markets. I think enough people dont know about it.

Popular with folks with India roots. Caribbean diaspora would find familiar foods here. I go for beans, peas, ginger root, dry coconuts, raw almonds, raw cashews, raw peanuts, plantain chips, flour and I have bought a nicely priced pomegranate juice.

Similar to Patel brothers but sometimes you will have to go across the street since both stores carry different brands. Better organized and cleaner than Patel Brothers. They also have fresh coconuts, a nice little touch.

Well if youre Im the need for authentic Indian stuff, this is the place to go. They also have a selection of grand sweets snacks. This is a godsend for South Indian. Can you believe this is even happening right now

Tried the masala dosa and the idli sambar. Both were pretty good. The dosa could have been crispier and the masala a little more flavorful. However the sambar and chutney were both quite tasty.

This is a good alternative for other Indian grocery store. Keralites would love this place I guess. The frozen fish side is a must to catch up with lots of Indian fish varieties.

Good place to buy Indian grocery and produce. Well organized. Entry /exit to the place is awkward with up and down slope while entering and exiting.(and with speed breakers).

This is to express the concern with MAYURI brand of Ponni Boiled rice that we got from the store. The quality of rice was not good. This is not original ponni rice.
