I haven’t had the chance to write this since everything happened two months ago, because I’ve unfortunately been preoccupied. But, I felt that this company (CU Autobranch) should be praised and lauded for their honesty, culture of quality, and integrity. In August of this year, I was looking to buy my first car! I was living in a big city utilizing public transit and now I needed a car for Tampa. Jeff and the team were really helpful. They let me come in and try different cars, be indecisive, and change my mind multiple times (I am sure that was annoying, but it was necessary, and I thank them for putting up with me!). I finally settled on my beautiful Kia Soul. Everything is a set price there, as they do liquidated cars at below market value. So there isn’t any haggling. But that was fine because it was super super affordable anyway! I love my car!!! Flash forward to my check engine light coming on in October. I took my 2012 Kia Soul, still under warranty, to a Kia Dealer here in Tampa by the name of Century Kia. They told me my engine was sludged. He also told me that the car was taken there back in March, and that they told the previous owner to fix it, but the owner never did. So I go to CU Autobranch, tell them what happened and ask why the car was never fixed before they sold it to me. Their response was shock and confusion. “We do NOT sell cars like that” asserted Jeff. “I want to have a second opinion” Jeff took the car to another Kia dealer, Courtesy Kia, where the mechanic took the engine apart, valves and all, and found ZERO TRACE OF SLUDGE. It was 100% spotless. Looking at my two receipts, one from Century Kia and one from Courtesy Kia, the “opinions” are vastly different and there is proof that one of those opinions was fabricated. Century Kia lied to me. There is no mistake. It was a messed up thing to do, to try and take advantage of an individual who obviously did not have car mechanic experience. Apparently the real reason the engine light was a recall, and my car was discovered to be fine so they turned the light off. When they lifted the hood, there was a fuel pump was put on shoddily. CU Autobranch is so awesome, they PAID Courtesy Kia to have that fixed, just so they could assure me they gave me a perfect car. Even though, it is pretty likely that Century Kia were the guys who put that fuel pump on wrong while deciding how they would inform me of fabricated sludge. CU Autobranch paid to pick up their mess, giving me a free rental car for 4 weeks, and took the time and care to ensure my Kia Soul was in perfect condition. They incurred the cost of another company’s issues, because they value me! The respect and honesty I was given at CU Autobranch was a stark contrast from the completely CORRUPT behavior at Century Kia. I am SO glad there are still honest people out there, who take pride in their work. For this reason I give CU a 5 star rating, not because they ever asked me to (they never once did), but because they did al lot this work because they believed it was the right thing to do. There are a lot of messed up people out there, but know that CU Autobranch are one of the good guys!!!!!!

I bought an SUV here several weeks ago. As stated previously, it is a no pressure shopping, with no sales staff bugging you to buy. Staff were friendly and helpful and prices were good. I was pre- approved thru my Credit Union, so the actual paperwork took about 15-20 mins, very quick. Keep in mind, youre buying a USED car so you may need to spend a few more $$$ once you do buy. I had to spend close to $900 several days after buying. SUV needed 2 new tires, an alignment, only came with one key so I bought another from a dealer and had a problem with the windshield wiper fluid not working. This was noted by the staff at CU, said there must not be any fluid in the tank. Tank was full and the Toyota dealer had to replace the supply line a squirrel had chewed thru, which was not covered by the warranty. I highly recommend if you have a car to trade in, do not do it thru them, as they offer a very low price, much lower than KBB trade in price. Sell it out right yourselve and youll come out ahead. Some cars have high mileage and others not too bad. I think most of their cars are from Rental companies. Not sure if Id purchase another car from them.

They know how to treat customers respectfully -it was the nicest car-buying experience Ive had in my life. Fed up with normal dealerships (I visited six of them in the Bay Area, from CarMax to Stadium Toyota) over their pressure tactics and high prices, I gave these guys a chance. I was surprised by how easy it was to inspect and test-drive a car (by myself, with no one breathing down my neck, and plenty of time) and how attentive the staff was to my questions and concerns. It seemed as they really wanted me to get what I was looking for, and were very polite in their treating me. Besides, the financial part goes through a credit union, which simplifies the process. Im very satisfied with my experience with these guys, and therefore recommend them.

I came in with my 82 year old mother to purchase a Rav4. Jeff met us at the front door with a smile. He was patient with all my moms questions and let her take all the time in the world to just sit in the car. LOL When she decided it was the car for her Tammy walked her thru everything making sure she understood exactly what was going to happen. Even the young man that put her tag on for her was polite and helpful. Everybody had a smile . It was so nice to work with them. Thank you so much, Sherri

Great no hassle car purchasing here ... they do not have sales people and already have the cars valued below their worth. All are used cars bit the selection is very good and plenty of newer models available. We shopped online first then went to the site and test drove a few of the cars on our own before making our decision. Needless to say, since we were pre-approved through our credit union, we bought the car we were looking at in about an hour even with the paperwork!

The credit union I work for has had a relationship with CU Auto branch for several years. Theyve done an outstanding job of assisting our membership and in liquidating credit union owned collateral. Throughout the years, many of our employees have also purchased vehicles.

I bought a car on Saturday and realized it didnt come with power lock doors on Sunday night. They revalued my car and resubmitted some paperwork Tuesday. I want to thank Lorin, his father, Maria and even Tammy(who was a tad bit hostile with me the first day we met.)
