I made an appointment to get a balance and rotation on the tires I had bought at a different Discount Tire. I arrived 15 minutes prior to the appointment. Many bays were open. There were few customers. I met with an employee who looked up all my information and took my keys. Ten minutes later an employee named Myles contacted me and asked me to come outside with him to my vehicle. He measured the tread on all tires and told me I needed new tires because one tire showed a wear indication of a 4-5 which is medium to minimum tread depth. I saw him measure the tread and he measured near the sidewalls. We walked back inside the store lobby where he told me I needed new tires and that I shouldnt feel safe with the tires I have. Instead of just doing what I asked I got pressured to buy new tires throughout the entire process and once Myles finally understood I wasnt buying tires then he lowered his customer service down to downright unfriendly. My truck sat in the same spot in the parking lot for 20 minutes before anyone took it to the shop. I hope the tires are balance correctly but I dont have a lot of confidence after the intital impression Myles gave. I wont deal with Myles again. I went to Toyota of Boerne after this Discount Tire experience for an oil change. It was interesting to learn their tread measurements were not the same as the tread measurements Myles came up with. Does Myles work on commission? Was he trying to sell me tires I didnt need just two days before Christmas? Yes, he sure was.

We have used Discount Tire for years to keep good tires on our personal and ranch vehicles. Weve always been treated well and always feel like we left with a great deal. I keep the certificates on my tires and have used them on a couple occasions. Much easier to replace the certificate cost on a new tire if they cant repair it than buy a new tire. We loved our Discount Tire where we lived before and are happy to have another good one close by on our recent move. I recently had a flat while in another town and had to purchase 4 new tires. I left there with a defective tire pushing to the right at closing, drove back to that one the following business morning and they replaced a tire without checking anything, which turned out to be the wrong tire, leading to continued problem. I decided to go to our local Discount Tire in Boerne and the guys in there are great! The first gentleman assured me he would find the problem and explained the steps we would go through. It went just as he said, we were able to diagnose the problem by switching tires around and driving it again. They replaced the correct defective tire and I was on my way. I dealt with 3 different guys directly that day and all were professional and great to work with.

After calling several places throughout Boerne and San Antonio discount tire proved to have the best prices and even though my tires had to be ordered, I was kept up to speed on the whole process, which thankfully only took until the following day. After the 2 new tires were put on, I had some concerns with the way my car was performing. Jerry personally came to my rescue while I was parked on the side of the road, had all of my tires completely re balanced, and then replaced an additional one. My car left performing PERFECTLY. Jerry the manager went above and beyond to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my experience at Discount Tire. I am very grateful and appreciative and will absolutely be back!

Great employees, very fast service. All of the employees were very helpful, knowledgeable, fast paced and attentive to all of the customers. Jerry, a manager helped me find the best tires and rims to fit my budget and my truck. He spent adequate time with me and did not rush to get me out the door, answering all my questions even with a packed house. Overall this was a great experience and I will be recommending this company, location and team.

I was at walmart and got a quote for my tire replacement. Called discount tire and they beat the price by more than 50 percent! Really helped me out and were super fast and friendly. Matt helped me on the phone and assured me they could save me money. And Jerry took excellent care of me once I got there. I honestly had no clue it was going to be so low of a price. Excellent staff. Clean and impressive garage. Best prices period. 10 stars!

My son came limping in last night on a low tire 2 minutes before closing thinking it was too late for service. The people at Discount Tire were superb and took immediate care of him even though the doors were about to close. In addition, they realized one of his tires was damaged and replaced it on the spot with the hazard certificate previously purchased. Thanks to the team at Discount Tire...a great addition to the Boerne area.

Needs more staff went for the free air check (I get my tires there anyway) and I pull up and wait 15min before a manager came to see me. But he did do a great job to make up for it and also checked the air in my spare tire under the Yukon which no other store has done and it was a good thing. It was at 15psi which if I had got a flat would have done me no good.

These guys offer great service and are very customer focused. We had a tire wall blow out, called around and the these guys had the tire we were after at the best price fitted and out the door. When we got there they were busy but we got everything done and were driving away just over an hour later.

Love Discount Tire and now we have one in Boerne. Perfect experience: selected tires and scheduled online; showed up at appointed time and the tires were at the store and staff was ready to install the new tires. In and out in 45 minutes. What more could you ask for?

They are very quick. I got there before they opened at 8A to get a set of tires. (3rd in line) I left before 8:30A. They plugged our lawn mower tire for free! Thank you!
