To all those looking for a great car by straight-forward and honest people... I just wanted to take the time to write a little review about Conway Imports and the people that helped me. I searched for a car for about 2 months scouring the internet and local dealerships. I didnt have great credit although I was working and had the ability to afford a decent monthly payment. By the time I found Conway online, I already knew my score, the types of loans, and was very limited in the cars available to me. There were many incidents at even big name dealerships where I noticed large gaps in their Carfax or visual irregularities in the cars appearance that were red flags to a prior accident. I didnt get anything close to that when checking Conways website. First off, I was amazed that practically all of the reviews were glowing about the service and care they all received. Then, when I did see a few that had some troubles, Conway addressed them online. It showed that they were attentive and followed up after they made their sale. So, I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Tony Martinez who took some basic info from me over the phone. I couldnt make it out to the dealership just yet but Tony followed up with me to make sure I was going to have all that was necessary to make a purchase when I did. When I finally made my trek out to them, Tony took time to explain my options where we decided to proceed with my purchase. I found a great car for my price range where Karl, their finance manager, then helped complete the paperwork. I know it must not have been easy to work with my score/deposit, but somehow he did that evening. To date, it has been almost a week of driving my new car and Im pleased with the purchase. I would not only go back to purchase future cars from them, but I would recommend them to anyone I know. They will help you find a car and even start you on the road to rebuilding your credit. Thanks Conway!

This is our review of Conway Imports of Streamwood, IL. We purchased an ’08 BMW 328i from them in the fall of 2014 after Conway managed to locate financing for the vehicle thru Citizens’ Finance in Aurora. It was a replacement for my wife’s ’01 323 model, and it did look very nice outside and inside the cabin. I brought it home to Iowa around Thanksgiving (and had to stop once to clear icy buildup from the windshield – seems it needed new wipers) and we promptly put it into the garage for the winter, not getting it out again until about April. That’s when the troubles started. We’ve had to replace ignition coils, a window motor, a critical drive belt tensioner under the hood, and all 4 tires – all within the first year & 10-20 k miles we’ve used it – and we’ve had to put replacement of a leaking oil system gasket, a broken interior mirror, and a coolant flush off because of the expense of the more important repairs. My wife was even shocked to discover this so-called higher level model didn’t even have the seat warmers her pedestrian 323 did… To top it off, our financing deal with Citizens’ Finance added $1900 to our purchase price over and above the 14%+ APR on it, and that’s a black mark for both Conway and Citizens. (We’ve since refinanced for a much lower rate…) That kind of financing deal is like stealing from the poor, but we were told it was the best we could do given our credit score at the time… So, no, we’ve not been happy with our experience all around. I realize others have had good experiences there, but I definitely recommend you get a mechanic you trust to check your potential purchase out before blowing your money on something that manages to escape being a lemon – import repairs are expensive (and a pretty exterior is not a replacement for a reliable car)!

My brother and I went in to take a look at a few cars we were interested in with no intention to buy. While looking around, Mike came out to greet us and asked us what car we were interested. My brother is a first time buyer and was interested in an Infinity G37x they had on the lot. Mike was very friendly and was more than happy to go over the car. He came back with the key and backed it out so that my brother and I could explore the car a lot better. He asked us the basic questions and so forth. Understanding that my brother was a first time buyer with no credit and a little down payment, Mike invited us in to see if he would get approved for a loan. Now its no secret having no credit history itll hard to get into a vehicle with a low amount down. Mike ran thru the different scenarios for my brother and I and I agreed to co-sign, Mike and Sebastian (finance manager) was able to get him approved for the target monthly my brother was comfortable with. I was so impressed with the overall experience that I myself decided to pick up a car as well with them that same day. I was ecstatic that Sebastian and Mike were able to get me approved for that second car on my credit and still be able to get me a reasonable monthly payment. In short my brother and I drove away with two luxury sedans and kept both our arms and legs. They truly stick to their 99% approval rate. As you can guess that 1% is situational.Would return in the future and recommend them, whether you have amazing credit, bad or no credit, theyll do everything they can to get you approve. Also the choices of vehicles are pretty darn good. Lots of Audis, Infinitis, BMWs etc. to choose from at reasonable prices.

Financed a car from here almost 2 months ago. the car was in great shape and we got a nice deal on it. Sebastian was great and helped us with our financing. he was attentive to any questions we had.. I did not like yesenia, our sales rep. she was rude and her attitude has been less than friendly throughout our entire experience. we were actually waiting on Tony to finish a sale but she kept pestering us so we ended up sitting down with her. the issue I had was I waited 8 weeks, 2 phone calls and one walk-in for my plates to arrive. every time I called they were rude. when I walked in they had no answers, and made no attempt to find out what was going on. no one cared enough to find out why my plates were late. the third time I had to call myself and magically the plates were there. I HAD TO CALL. the issue was not the plates being late , it was the customer service i recieved whrn i inquired..they didnt even bother to call me. i also asked for a 2nd copy of our sales papers (for a personal reason) and the response we got was ".....okay...?" as if it were the hardest thing on planet earth to walk back and make extra copies of papers you already have. Im still a customer. just because Ive left the building with keys does not mean I dont deserve every bit of devotion and respect that a prospective buyer gets. when you have a customer you should definitely keep in touch with them reguarding their issues. i will gladly return for another sales rep, as everything else has been fine
