Go elsewhere, it sounds harsh, but my experience was the exact same as others a year ago. I was told by Tony that they focus on the mechanical condition of the vehicle and I was told by Randy that the vehicle had not been wrecked. Both cases couldnt be more far from reality. Mechanical: I noticed a squeak in the breaks like the brake pad metal indicator tab was rubbing so I pull the front tires and found that the pads on the passenger side were cracked and only touching 70% of the rotor. The brake rotor was rusted 3/4 in on the brake surface which means it had been that way a long time. I found on the drivers side that the rotor was flaking apart from rust. If you inspect the vehicle in a shop this could easily been seen. I should have crawled under it. The 2nd day I owned it I had to replace both brake rotors and pads. I took the vehicle in for a transmission flush and the dealer came back with a $2,700 list of repairs. Water pump, front axle seal, front auto ride shocks leaking… Regarding accident: I was told by Randy that the "Auto Check" was clean and that they didnt pull a car fax, he went on to say that Car fax over reports and assured me that it had not been wrecked. When I bought it I noticed a small fray in the passenger seatbelt, it looked like it got snagged on something and over time frayed, I replaced the seatbelt and when I had the side covers off I saw that there had been repair work done on the post between front and rear doors. It looks like it may have been "T-boned" in-between the doors. When I looked the vehicle over at the lot I carefully looked at the fenders, fender supports to see if all original or repaired…it seemed okay, but actually had been wrecked. Do not trust any dealer that tells you "auto check" is accurate, insist on both, auto check and car fax. Bottom line, they sold me a vehicle that has many mechanical issues and was wrecked. The vehicle was unsafe and would not pass any state or large dealership inspections which is why it was probably auctioned or sold off. Why would a large dealer sell off an LTZ Tahoe…they are like gold. I cant believe that I didnt read the review before buying from them. Shame on me, dont let it happen to you. In regards to customer service: I called 3 hours a head of time and told them I was coming to look at the vehicle. The vehicle was dirty inside and out. I was told that Randys girl friend had been driving it. What the heck??? Why wouldnt you clean it? I realize after writing this review that basically I am sucker. There was so many signs... Finally - I noticed a very positive 5 star "they wont ripp you off" review. Be aware that they can leave reviews for themselves. Notice that it says a google user and no name. Again, dont buy it. I wish I could post pictures…I have the brake rotors and pics of the post repair and dealer receipts. Just look elsewhere and save yourself the trouble. Steve

What a joke. Saw an amazing car that they had on their lot. Took the car on a test drive. Fell in love with the car, but I am one that needs to look under the hood, crawl under the car...those types of things before I buy a car. Get the car back to the lot and go over it with a fine tooth comb. I was aware that there were quite a few things done to the car...headers, exhaust, cold air intake. Was told the car had the remainder of the factory warranty. After going through the car, I realized that what these clowns told me was factory installed aftermarket parts, was actually hillbilly garage ingenuity at best. Wires were taped to the firewall with electrical tape and all sorts of things. I went to the owners daughter to inquire about these "factory installed" aftermarket parts. She tells me the work was done at a local Ford dealership and she would call me back and provide me with the service records. After about a week, I called back to ask about the paperwork. She gave me some lame excuse and said she would call me back the next day. Im still waiting on that phone call, 7 months later.. Needless to say, I already had my answer an hour after I test drove the car. I had written down the VIN and checked for myself. The warranty had been voided by whatever the previous owner did to the car. What a shame they felt the need to be dishonest. My money spends just as good at an honest dealership.

The other night in the middle of it snowing our jetta was driving dangerously. I got off the interstate and went straight to crase to get it checked out. The tire was flat on the rear left, from a 3 inch metal spike. I was pretty close to needing new tires anyways. Since it was almost closing time they got me a ride home. The next morning they had inspected my car and called me with a few tire options. They also saw I needed new rear brakes and an oil change. Their prices were better than a big dealer and very reasonable for the services provided. The icing on the cake for me was with my busy schedule they went out of their way to deliver it back to me. Thank you Crase Auto P.S. the van is going to need tires soon

Came in with my old 1993 cutlass that was riding incredibly rough, I thought she was done for being as old as she is and its not worth putting much into it with repairs. Most people told me she was shot...decided to try one last ditch effort to take it into Crase Auto anyway and let them know my thoughts. They took her in and immediately diagnosed the problem. It turned out to be a fixable issue and they even gave me a great deal! These guys really know what they are doing. Quick too, came in thinking my car was dead and I was out of there before I knew it driving away in my old cutlass that now runs like a dream again (as much as a steel boat can be compared to a dream)!

First Time customer and was more than pleased with the service department there. Got to even speak with the owner in person witch is hard to find in a lot of car lots it seems lately. They came of right away with great customer service and was more than willing to go over with me step by step when it came to the particulars on what really needed to be fixed in my what is now running great 2004 Grand Am. They are pretty reasonable on cost and have made a happy customer out of me. Highly recommend this place for anyone that is in need of service in the Channahon area.

Had services performed on my Mercedes-Benz was very happy with the results. They did a full inspection of the vehicle free of charge. They are very knowledgeable about imported cars would recommend this repair shop if you own a Volvo, Saab, Mercedes, BMW, Audi ect. Office was very clean, service manager and cashier were polite and informative. They also offered free popcorn and coffee which was fresh. I was curious and looked at mulitiple cars for sale, they were priced reasonable and were quality cars. Im going to Crase next time for my automotive needs.
