I stopped by the Keen store in Portland just before taking off for New Zealand this past April, as my Keen walking shoes were not working out and I wanted to see if they could help me. I had low expectations as my shoes had not been purchased in the last 30 days and I didnt have the receipt on hand. The first person to welcome me was more than a breath of fresh air. She was so alive and so happy to be a part of that Keen scene. She knew the product well and was more helpful and flexible in resolving the problem than I ever expected. I am writing this reveiw from NZ, where I am getting on swimmingly with those very red Keen shoes. I wish I could remember the name of that gal, (I believe it was Kate or Kaitlin) but I do remember she had not too long ago returned to PDX after living a year in NZ. Thank you, you know who you are, for such a lovely preview to my NZ trip, and for making sure my heels are happy as I tramp my way to the Rainbow Falls in KeriKeri this afternoon.

Kaitlin was our assistant today in picking out new shoes. She was incredibly friendly and polite. She wouldnt stop until she found the perfect shoe for us. I came in with three of my friends and she helped all of us at the same time. She would continue to check in on each one of us. We had such a great time with her. My friends and I even chatted with her about living on the east coast. Kaitlin is excellent at customer service and this is coming from someone who works for a company that has the best customer service in the world. Kaitlin thank you for making our experience personal and genuine. Your company is lucky to have you!

Well this has to be the hippest, best shoe store I have been to in a while. The chain drive shoe racks are awesome. Keen shoes are my favorite right now. I was able to get my work shoes here and although I only get the discount for those online, they sized me up and helped me just the same. These are great shoes and their safety shoes are the predominant brand used by folks at my work due to their ASTM steel toe rating, EH rating and they passed the flame testing..... I hope they keep the store and their brand going in this way. Amazing!

Ive always wanted to stop in at the Keen Garage, and finally got the chance. I love Keen shoes (I have MANY pairs) but Id never been to the Garage. They have so many styles - some I havent ever seen "yet". Next time Im in the market for a pair of shoes Ill definitely be making the trip too see that latest styles. I was surprised that they didnt have any "close-outs". With a name like garage I expected it too be an outlet not a factory store. The name says discount to me for some reason.

I have had a few pair of the water sandals over the years, but never any shoes or boots. I heard a few good things and had an opportunity to get some. Good shoe for on your feet life. Supportive and wide, almost feel like a built in orthotic, which is good if you pronate like I do. Very happy with the shoes and how they will protect me in the Portland weather.

Amazing staff and very helpful with questions. I dont own a pair of keens, but my mom has five different pars, from slippers to hiking boots. She lives in Grants Pass Or. and I wanted to taker to the Garage when she came up to visit. She loved the experience and I had an amazing time with her shopping at the Garage.

Its impressive to see every Keen shoe in one room - Im a big fan of these guys so I may be a bit biased. But whether youre looking to buy shoes or not theres a lot of creative reuse on display in the store. From rotating racks made of old bike chains to a seating area made from old high school bleachers.

Great showroom with very helpful staff. Pricier than shopping online but a much better experience here. After buying a pair of boots, I checked the price at home. They were on sale online, called and they put the difference right back on my card. Also boots are solid quality, no complaints!

I was helped right away by a friendly representative. They had tons of options and I was even shown the "seconds" area where I found my new pair of hiking boots for a great discount. My daughter was also very pleased with her new boots. A great experience and a great product!

Parking is always a challenge in downtown. The employees were awesome! They were more concerned with making sure l got the right shoe and the best fit than trying to get a sale. Lots of selections. I totally dig the vibe and the decor.

We had great service for arriving close to closing and walked out with US made shoes for quite the price. This doesnt even touch the uniqueness of the layout and displays. You can also peer through the glass and see corporate at work!
