I had went here to get my daughter some hair and I loved the experience. I then went back to purchase my own hair at a later date and what I was looking for they did not have so I was sent to their other location on Mack Road. I purchased what was supposed to be wet & wavy jerry curl human hair!!! It was not!!! I paid about $150 for both packs of hair and after installation and wearing it straight for three days I noticed becoming matted so I wet the hair. While it was wet, it was very nice but as it dried, it became very dry and matted up even more!! I tried everything to get rid of the dryness and nothing worked. I went to a salon where I was informed that the hair that I had purchased was nit human!! I was livid so I went back to this hair store and nothing was done to fix my issue except being offered a percentage off that would only cover taxes!! I will never again go to this hair store in my life, no will I recommend anyone go here!!! its a waste of your money!!! I will continue to go to KINGS WIGS!!! James beauty supply is no good!!!! I was basicly robbed!!! I will continue to let everyone know how horrible this place!!

i simply walked into James beauty supply to buy some hair products and a new lipstick (i was in a rush to meet with my boyfriend & this a nice quick & convenient place) however not even a minute passes by before I was accused of stealing!!! idk how that man came to that conclusion by me simply walking into the store! Ive never stolen a thing in my life, Im a young hard working educated woman and I didnt appreciate the rudeness and ignorance of that man! I would rather spend 100$ across the street than give 1 cent to support this business!!! Its a shame that James beauty supply is allowed to be open with such ignorance towards people!

Almost every time I have entered this establishment and the manager is present I end up leaving and spending my money on the other side of town. I dont know if its the fact that I have questions about products and he cant provide the answer or what. But because of the poor customer service I always end up leaving empty handed. Crown wigs on the other hand is great. The quality and variety of hair is better and they know how to treat their customers. Too bad theyre 20 minutes away from me .

I had gone to this store a few times before to purchase hair and beauty supplies for myself andmy kids because it is closer to where I live than Joyces where I usually go. But,the last time I went,I was picking up some braiding hair and I looked up and saw one of the employees watching my every move. I felt hella insulted because I am not a thief and work hard for everything and have spent some good money there before. They will NEVER get my hard earned money again. I dont appreciate being profiled....

This is my new place for shopping for all my hair needs. I am a beauty & hair consultant and was so happy to finally see a beauty supply house in the neighborhood. It is neat and clean and very organized from what my first 3 visits have shown me. Not sure what happened with the person that left the negative feedback. I dont get that at all when I enter the establishment.

A couple of the store employees were aloof towards me, the other clerk was friendly and helpful and tried to help me find what I was looking for. They have a good selection of EVERYTHING. I give 3 stars because of the 2 rude store associates and the 1 kind employee that stepped up and did her job.

great store always helpful and have what i need, they have a store off mac road but the owner stays at this one, Ive known him for some time. they are always sweet and genuine to me. i almost went into labor at his store and they were super helpful.
