Ordered and fully paid for almost 10K worth of appliances in April, 2014. I recd one item as expected, one item damaged (still waiting on the replacement), one item as ordered and in new condition. The most expensive item however I find myself still waiting (July 14, 2014) after them delivering it crushed and in non-working condition. While I have found the sales rep to be very nice ..... at this point I have to say proceed with extreme caution if anything you want needs to be ordered. If they have what you want in stock and it looks good, great. If not...... buyer beware! Doing a major kitchen remodel is stressful enough. Having to fight to get what you paid for is flat unacceptable by any standards. Ill update when and if they ever get this right. UPDATE.... I finally have the double ovens. Paid for on April 22 and finally delivered undamaged in July. However, I still find myself waiting on the dishwasher door replacement as they delivered a damaged dishwasher. I have truly never dealt with any company like this one. If you do not mind damaged merchandise when you pay for brand new merchandise then this is the place to go. Once again...... I will update if and when they ever take care of this. At this point I would say not only buyer beware but buyer run far, far away! On the bright side, so thankful that I found this all out before buying the remaining appliances.

In the past, weve purchased some appliances here and had no problems, mainly with relatively low-cost models, such as Whirlpool washer and dryer in 2010. However, in 2013, we decided to upgrade to some newer, heavy-duty Samsung brand washer and dryer units. That hasnt gone so well. After only 6 months, the pump on the washer went out. Luckily, we have a 5 year warranty. The bad thing is, that Action Appliance (or, "lack of action" appliance) does the warranty work for Metro. Naturally the washer broke down on a Saturday and Lack-of-action isnt available on weekends. When I did get through to them on Monday, no one could come look at the washer until Thursday. After all of 5 min. the service man said, pumps bad. Will have a new on in one week. One week passes, no call from lack of action, so I called. They finally got around to checking to see if the pump came in. It was there, but couldnt get to installing until Friday, no going on 2 weeks without a washer. Friday, service man shows up. about 15 - 20 min. later...wrong pump....see ya in a week. Called Metro, they said there was nothing they could do about it. Trying to get a hold of anyone at Samsung is like getting the government to figure out how to avoid a shut-down. Needless to say...not too happy with Samsung - maybe they should stick to making TVs and phones, Metro Appliances & More, and "Action" Appliances.

I honestly dont know why I purchased from these guys again. My first experience was after I purchased a dishwasher from them and it was missing parts to complete the installation...customer service was horrible, it took WEEKS and finally uninstalling the dishwasher and taking it through their front door and demanding my money back to get a resolution to the problem. I know somebody that purchased several thousand dollars of appliances from them and had damaged goods that were delivered to their house. It took WEEKS of follow up calls to get the issue fixed. I purchased a refrigerator for our office on September 5...it was received with a damaged door that was not observed because their delivery people were too lazy to remove all of the packing materials. I was out of the office when it was delivered. When I was back in the office later that afternoon I found the damage and immediately called to notify them about it. Here is it, nearly 90 days later and I still dont have this dang thing fixed. I have called at least a dozen times to check on it and just keep getting the run around. My suggestion, this is a great place to go look at a product and price shop but dont buy anything from them. If there is a problem with your purchase it is just too much of a hassle to deal with these guys.

Will never shop here again. Had an issue with damage to my home when they delivered my appliance. Spent 6 months trying to get management to rectify the situation. Finally took me disputing the charge with my credit card company to get their attention. They sure were quick to call me after they received notice of the dispute. Once the dispute was taken care of - instead of just letting the credit card company know it had been handled, they sent a letter (forwarded to me by the company) full of lies about the entire situation...saying they attempted to contact me for weeks (untrue)...saying I refused to sign the delivery confirmation (untrue)...saying my home was impassable and the technician came out once but couldnt get to the laundry room due to filth and animal feces (completely untrue). The sales people are definitely outstanding and nice, but this business is ran by the most unethical, unprofessional management team that Ive ever seen. Dont do business here - youll regret it for sure.

My experience with Metro Appliance and More and specifically Jon Anderson has been exemplary in every respect. He took an inordinate amount of time with my wife and me explaining the pluses and minuses of the various appliances we were interested in which made our decision making much easier. We had an issue with one of the appliances and he went to bat for us with the manufacturer and we got a favorable resolution. We have purchased a number of appliances since then and have been very pleased with their service. I found that while they werent always the "lowest" price around, they were competitive and when service was factored in our choice on where we would purchase was obvious.Should I be in the market for other appliances in the future, it goes without question that we will not look elsewhere.

My experience with Jon Anderson and Metro Appliances & More was fantastic! We called from a competitor, told Jon what we needed and he texted a price back to me right away. We were so happy with the price nothing else would have mattered, but when we got there, and saw the beautiful store and all of the different brands and items they represented we were even more excited. Ask for Edwards Services guys to do your installation too, these men are absolutely amazing and they really, really, know their stuff. I am a very impressed customer and I will be back here over and over again. You will love this store, and If you get to deal with Jon and/or Edwards Services you will be writing a 5 star review of your own. Well done, this is how a local business should work.

I recently came to Metro Appliance in search of a new gas range. I was warmly greeted just inside the doors by Kim Steffens. Kim was wonderful to work with as she shared with me every model that had the features for which I was searching. She answered all my questions and concerns thoroughly, and she very efficiently walked me through the selection, purchase, ordering and subsequent pickup of my range. This was my second purchase at Metro Appliances, and I do love shopping at Metro. I need to do a better job of referring business to Metro, because I really appreciate having you in Wichita! Shopping is not my gig, so thanks for making it easy to shop with confidence at Metro! Oh, and Life is Good with my gas range! I love it!
