(Edit) Just stopped in again, Dec. 23... dog pee on another bag of cat food near Banfield. This is $70 food, people!! Wtf? (End of edit) Wow! What a difference a month makes. I stopped into the store last week to get my cats special diet food, only to find the only 2 bags of food left in the store peed on by a dog. A big dog. This was not fresh urine. It had been there long enough to dry on the bags in huge spots. I took pictures of the bags and then asked the girl at the Banfield desk for help. She handed me cleaning supplies so I could clean off the bags. I sat there for a second contemplating cleaning them off and decided to get the manager. The manager never showed up, but one girl was nice enough to clean off the bags. They did not offer me a discount on the soiled bag. I was desperate for the food so I bought it. I then called up corporate to complain. The CSR I spoke to said to expect a call from the district manager within 24 hours. Never heard from him/her. I called corporate again 3 days later and asked what was going on, why I hadnt received a call. They didnt know, but said they would escalate my issue. The next day I heard from one of the store managers who offered an exchange with a receipt. Unfortunately I had lost the receipt and told him so. He then said I could return the item without a receipt. And that was his only solution. Maybe its just me, but if I were store manager, I would like for my customers to come back. But I was offered nothing to entice me back. They wouldnt even move the food so that dogs couldnt pee on it. So they have lost a customer who had to buy $60 bags of Royal Canin and $2.59 cans of cat food. Their loss. Caveat emptor if you decide to buy any food near Banfield as the store could care less if food is peed on. Ill keep this from my original post because it is still true: their cat section is a bit lacking in toys, cat trees, and freeze dried treats. Overall, I am now completely underwhelmed by this store. Ill be buying online from now on and at other stores where I know they dont allow dogs to pee on their products.

This review is for the Grooming Department: Although my dogs have never looked bad after getting groomed, they are absolutely terrified of going there. I had no idea why and I just assumed its because one of my dogs is afraid of water and the other is still very young. Well, today as I walked in, the young lady wrapped a lead around my 8 month old labs neck and tried to get her to come with her. Let me add that this young lady did not try to comfort my dog or even make her welcome to this strange new environment. She just started pulling my dog by the leash around her neck and dragging her across the floor while announcing, "Dragging is an option!" Let me just tell you that dragging my puppy across the floor by her neck is absolutely NOT an option - not now, not ever. This will be our last visit to your grooming salon, I will find another salon that is more kind to the animals that they service.

The grooming ladies here are horrible!! I took my schnauzer here more than once and every time she came home scared to death and with a horrible cut. They even managed to cut her ear really bad one time. That was the last time she went. The only reason I took her there more than once was because I thought maybe shed get a different groomer. On top of them giving hideous haircuts the lady who is normally working in the front is rude!! Im so disappointed that this isnt up to normal Petsmart standards! Even as I met more people once we moved here, before they even knew I took her to Petsmart advised me against it for the horrible haircuts and groomers behavior they had seen with their own pets! Save your money people... Find someone who actually cares about your pet and knows what they are doing!!!!

Your employees are nice friendly your employees are nice and friendly most of your stores nice and clean but your bathroom normally its nasty you dont always have toilet paper you dont always have soap thats really wrong and I have to come to your store from Pembroke because I have to buy the ID food for my dog so I normally visit your store once maybe 3 times a month when Im coming from Pembroke so normally I make sure I stop before I go to your store to go to the bathroom now I do sometimes I have to go in there anyways because my grandkids have to go potty and sometimes I have to hold them up to go potty cuz I cant let them sit on your toilet because its not clean next time this happens Im going to take a picture and Im a post it on here love your nasty bathroom shame on you

This PetSmart is alright. Not as big as the other one. We got our husky groomed here and they did a great job!! The only thing that I was concerned of was that the employees didnt really know what they were talking about. We were looking for a certain thing and there was an employee who was just talking to her boyfriend the whole time and didnt seem to care. But the lady who checked us out gave us great advice and recommended several products that we did buy! I wish I could remember her name so she could be recognized! I spend a lot of money at PetSmart and I would hope that ALL employees cared about our pets as much as we do and the cashier did just that!

This location plain sucks. Ive been to numerous petsmart locations so I know. The employees are consistently rude. The fish here are pitiful. I saw several dead/dying fish in the tanks. Several fish were clearly diseased with ick and fungus. I had to point out diseased fish to an employee. I bought two acei cichlids and when I got home noticed one was covered in fungus. I had to return it. I live 35 minutes away so Im kind of pissed I had to make an extra trip. They need to get their stuff together.

This is Savannah, Ga in the tropical rain-forest sandbar by the sea. There is a lot more bugs here than most places. They each have their season and burst forth. Nothing to worry about. The plants also grow much faster, it is a very active ecosystem. PS I buy the flea treatment at this PetSmart and it is the only flea treatment I have found that works here. Today I am looking to upgrade the catfood I buy since I just learned that the Purina CatChow is mostly made of corn, like PepsiCola.

Love, love, love this store. They carry everything we ever need for our pets. The store is very clean and organized. The staff is well trained, knowledgeable and polite. I love that they are pet friendly. We meet all kinds of dogs shopping with their humans. Its just a fun place. Their prices are competitive and they have lots of coupons.

The groomers there are really nice. I would recommend the Savannah PetSmart to anyone. I always use the same groomer Kristi for my baby. She is a fantastic groomer! She is also very nice and she treats my baby like it was her own. I would definitely recommend her for anyone making an appointment to ask for her!
