I have been in there twice now, drove an hour each way, to look at a bow that was just released this year. The bow isnt cheap and I was very interested in it, the first time I was in I was showed several bows and then found the one I was looking for. The guy treated me as if I wasnt a serious purchaser because I was a girl, he also was pushing me to try a Hoyt in which made me second guess my purchase entirely. On top of that, he didnt know anything about the bow. I understood somewhat as he said that it just came in that day I decided to think on it and left. Yesterday 8-11-2017 I went back to look and purchase the bow. He was the same person as last time and the only guy there; which there is a sale going on and only one person to help 4 different customers. He recognized me and knew the bow was sitting in back for me as I called earlier to hold it. He didnt get the bow out instead he told me he wouldnt have time to help me. I was there an hour before close because thats what time I could arrive. I was getting very frustrated. I am buying a $700 bow and to be told no one had time to help and to not even get the bow out for me?! He said he would try to make time and I waited around 30 minutes and went back up there to be told again he wasnt going to have time to set the bow up for me and if I just wanted to purchase it he could have someone ring me up. I told him all I wanted was to shoot it once to make sure that I liked it before spending that kind of money, in which he then told me the range was already closed and I couldnt do that and again offered he could have someone ring me up if I just wanted to purchase the bow. I was infuriated. I would be much more understanding if this was my first time in and I was just kind of looking but the matter is I went to purchase the bow and it isnt cheap. I wasnt about to just walk out the door without at minimal shooting an arrow out of it when I was there an hour before closing. The customer service was poor and being a women hunter I should expect the same service as any gentlemen who walks through that door. I am now planning to buy the bow elsewhere.

This place doesnt even deserve 1 star for the lack of excellance and customer service. Dan, the greeter, was so terribly, depressingly rude, he makes you not want to enter the store. Yvonne in customer relations was the icing on the cherry when we complained about the greeter her rudeness and arrogant attitude far outshined their amazing greeter. She pretty much replied to our complaint as a so what who cares. It was if I were shopping in Detroit at a ghetto warehouse dealing with uneducated tired workers who get paid less than minimum wage and lash out at their customers. You are better off driving to the Cabellas on 75 near oakland mall, at least they are generous and welcoming to customers that spend their money. I will be returning what I brought and make a point to tell at minimum 20 people I know to never shop there just so someone can fire those terrible customer relations individuals and actually replace them with those apprecuative of a job. The state has 6% of the unemployment population that would work for half that with a smile. In short, dont shop here. The only person that was kind enough to hear our grievance was the manager Brian Barton and he is the only one worthy of a job there.

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!! first off I called yesterday to confirm they had the micro 315 and 335 that I could shoot and confirmed they said yes they had them and the lane would be open to shoot them. I drive an hour + to get here ask the clerk if I could shoot he said absolutely not....Im like what I called...he says I dont know what to tell u we are not allowed to let customers shoot any bows...had a manager come up he says I can ..but says he has to confirm comes back and says no you may not shoot bow...Im pissed at this point tell him I called and they said I could before I drove all this way...he says I cannot shoot. I ask him when did this policy start. ..he says it always has been their policy.....what u told me it was okay before u made your call and now you say u have always known this policy......maybe its time to get your head outta your arse and know what you are saying before you say something u know nothing about apparently. I wish I could give them a no star rating...not only can you not shoot a bow before a purchase, they have the lamest archery dept I have seen...pitiful. corporate needs to replace all their managerial staff and start over

I give two stars instead of one because the first firearm I purchased from here was from a very friendly and respectful salesperson. However the second time, I made the mistake of purchasing a Kimber ultra carry ii, the two older gentlemen working the counter treated me like some kind of felon attempting to make a fraudulent purchase. I have a valid CPL and am knowledgeable in firearm safety, but these guys seemed to dislike legitimate business. The entire process took over TWO HOURS. Firstly, they started paperwork on the wrong pistol, and had to straighten out that mess. Then, they tried telling me I had to pay with a gift card because the credit card I was going to use was not in my name. I have had several firearms given to me as gifts, paid for and I fill out the paperwork and leave the store, easy and fast. Not this time. Before I left the younger of the two older gentlemen very diligently instructed me on firearm safety despite me telling him about my years of experience and having a CPL, the course which was taken with retired police / NRA instructors. I could go on but I wont. What an awful ex

I have been using bass pro shops indoor shooting range for the past few years. I never had a bad experience until today. Upon packing up my gear to leave the range, i waited by the door inside thr range to be buzzed out. I believe the employees name was matt. I stood there with 3 other people for almost 15mins to be buzzed out. I even tried ringing the bell at the door and still nothing. So instead i had to use my cell phone inside their range to call the front service desk so they could call the range and tell him we were waiting to be buzzed out. Very dissapointed. This is a safety concern, because what if someone got injured and we are unable to get his attention. and as long as he works at the range i will never go back there

Quick examples of why I will not be back: 1) I asked an associate if he could check to see if a tree stand I wanted was in stock. He said "you need to go stand in line at the gun counter for that". Thought he was kidding, but he wasnt so I opened my Amazon app and had the treestands two days later. 2) I asked another associate the same day why they didnt have any duck decoys in stock. He said "well, its duck season, you shouldve come in a month ago when we had them". Still shaking my head. Since a month ago, Field and Stream got $1,500 of my money that would have went to Bass Pro. Hope the Cabelas deal falls thru, theyll end up ruining that brand too.
