i gave it 5 stars for the simple fact that this pawn shop takes just about everything else that the other pawn shops do and plus its convinient. the guy their is very cool and helps out to the best of his ability. you guys have to remember that not all pawn shops are the same. out of all the ones i went to jaws pawn shop on west main st new britain is by far one of the few good pawn shops. ive been to other pawn shoops and havent received as much as good service as others. he wants to help not push you away with the lowest amount possible. tell me who would actually show you what the prices are on their system in order to give you a better deal. NO ONE!!!!1 SO STOP ANTAGONIZING JAWS PAWN SHOP. PS I WOULDNT RECOMMEND YANKEE PAWN AND PEDDLER OR EVEN TRI CITY DUE TO THE FACT THAT JAWS ACTUALLY HELPS YOU OUT WHEN YOU REALLY NEED IT THE OTHER ONES JUST TELL YOU THIS IS IT AND NOTHING ELSE UNLESS YOUR ONE OF THEIR GOOD FRIENDS OR A VERY HOT WOMAN THEN YANKEE PAWN AND PEDDLER OR EVEN TRI CITY WOULD GIVE YOU A GREAT DEAL. TRUST ME IM AN OBSERVER AND I WENT IN TO ALL THREE OF THESE LOCATIONS AND JAWS IS THE ONLY PLACE THAT SERVES EVERY CUSTOMER THE SAME NOT DIFFERENT FOR BEING A HOT CHICK OR A BEST FRIEND

What can I say !? Jaws Pawn Shop is Amazing! Ever since theyve moved their location theyve grown and kept growing into a much bigger & better company. Theyre extremely fair with prices and "in my opinion" are better than any other Pawn Shop in New Britain. These people are very friendly and actually inspire me into opening my own Pawn Shop one day ! I will continue to shop here until that day has come & you shall too !

on their website they claim that they take all sorts of certain types of items that they dont actually accept when you show up with them. The only type of stuff they want to buy is the latest greatest brand new merchandise which youre lucky if they give you a quarter of the value for. Just put your stuff on eBay.... pawn shops are only good for scrap gold and silver, at least this one...

Its a pawn shop not a retail store. Prices of firm. Prices are high they give you nothing for your items if everything works and you are missing one piece they wont take it. This place is a joke I do not recommend anybody to go in there how are they still in business I have no idea. But avoid it at all cost. Not wroth the dirt off my shoes place is a joke

Holy crow do they have a lot of tools! New tools, old tools, really old tools, good tools, bins full of hand tools and TONS of power tools! Very cool place to look around and lots of good deals, but you gotta know what to look. Staff was very helpful and guided me to what I was looking for. Will be going there again.

Very disorganized, doesnt pay much for pawn or sell. lack of shelf space in the place, no wonder its disorganized. Otherwise nothing special and because doesnt pay much i would recommend tri-city or yankee paddler, hence 2 stars
