If there were a way to deduct stars I would! I was lied to about everything from the minute I made a phone call. The price on the vehicle changed multiple times (up and down). Assured they wouldnt deposit our check as we were coming with cash but deposited it anyway. Salesman lied and said he spoke with me and I agreed to deposit check. The vehicle died from needing new alternator after being told they did an A-1 inspection on over 170 dif points on the vehicle. Tow truck damaged the front bumper when they picked it up for repairs. Then it started rattling so my husband and I took it upon ourselves to PAY to get an inspection. Come to find out it needed almost $800 worth of work, came with no key to the after market wheels, and was referred to have trans looked at. It was spuing power steering fluid, O2 sensor was bad (which the check engine light should have been on but had been tampered with), back brakes were almost completely gone, rotors had terrible grooves and there was no record in the memory bank of the vehicle showing when trans light had come on. Thank Jesus I never handed them any cash or I wouldve been screwed! Went and met with the general manager Howell Thomason after being lied to by Steve and Shane (salesmen) and treated like they wanted to just rush to get me into the vehicle. Said whatever to seal the deal. The GM apologized but wouldnt come down enough from the price where I felt comfortable. I didnt trust their service department after all this didnt want them repairing our vehicle. They wanted me to pay full price and would only reimburse me for the price they would do the work from their department. Worst experience EVER! Such a headache and disappointment. Also, it is illegal to sell a vehicle that cant pass emission and it is illegal to tamper with vehicle so the check engine light doesnt work properly. Avoid this lot at all cost!!! I will be reporting them to the state as well.

I wish there was a rating below Poor-Fair. In the end, I can only blame myself for buying the vehicle but heres how it happened. I am military from Ft. Bragg, contacted North Atlanta Auto Superstore about a particular truck they had listed and worked some figures so I could come down with the cash ready. I drove about 7 hours on a saturday morning to check out the truck and finalize the deal. When I showed up to view the truck I found it was just beat, broken everything in the interior and when I crawled underneath... even worse. The truck was pouring oil and tranny fluid from just about everywhere imaginable. As you can imagine I was not a happy person. So I told them I was going to pack it in and head home when they told me they just had another truck same make and model with a few less miles that was all stock that had just come in. I took a good look at the truck and found a couple small issues that were by no means deal breakers. So we proceded with the deal under the condition that they would include the warranty. So after signing the papers i headed home. 20 minutes later i was on the side of the road with the " your truck is broke" light glowing and every ounce of coolant in the truck OUT of the truck. Called the dealer and they offered to send a truck and take care of it, I declined as a mechanic should and fixed it myself then got it home. After 3 days of driving, the CEL came on and the truck fell flat on its face. It has been at a local dealership for repair ever since. Not only is the "warranty" not worth its weight in dirt but North Atlanta Auto has dodged every call, email or message of any type since then. They take the call and promise to get an answer or figure something out and get the ball rolling and then I never hear from them. Bottom line, dont make the mistake that I did. Take your business elsewhere

A year and a half ago I moved from New York trying to find myself a good honest mechanic. My father took me here. In the beginning he gained my trust, he fixed my car and everything was all fine, I also have a 2004 toyota 4runner that he did lots of work on and I brought several customers there, my last experience in that repair shop I have 99 maxima brought it there to fix. I left the car in the morning, I do know I have a drivers rear side shocks assembly has to be replaced. He called me up during noon, he told me we will fix this 240$ we have to change the shocks also your car body is rusted so he had to weld a piece of metal to hold the shocks. I told him to fix it I do need the car after 2 PM he promised me 3 PM I showed up and my car still wasnt fixed I took the car to one of the body shops what he told me welding needs to be done and thats why i took it to the body shop. I left the car the guy at the body shops name was chris he called me and told me i dont need any welding you only need shocks assembly which is $28 and $55 dollars label he fixed my car total 79$. When I was taking my car out of there and I asked for the keys I do not want to fix this car here because it isnt done they did small little work for $40 I took my credit card lent it to her to charge me 40 dollars she threw the card back at me and my card was on the floor because i took the car out of this auto store and another lady came and picked it up to give it to me. I had a very bad experience.

I recently bought a 2013 mitsubishi lancer ralliart from carl black in May. Debbie, the sales associate was great even though I felt a little rushed to commit. Was told the car had the fluids topped off, but a few were not. Found the coolant was low, needed an oil change and didnt have a full tank of gas. Took it the mitsubishi dealership for oil change which costed about $80 and had it inspected. Come to find out I have after market headlights, which burned out 2x, run about $100 for the bulb. Spoke to Debbie again about my findings and had mitsubishi fax over the paperwork, to be reimbursed for the oil change, which Im still waiting on. Long story short, the people at carl black Hiram are nice, but really look over the car before buying and taking it off the lot. ***sidenote: stay on them if your financing through someplace else other than carl black( i.e. credit union) keep on them, still getting the run around for my title.

This has been my 2nd time working with Debbie Talbot we bought by gf Claire a car last april an she was the lady that helped us. Now it is my turn looking for a newer truck i had certain things that i wanted it didnt matter about brand just that it was a V8 an a 4x4 as i have alway drove a truck 4x4.
