Im reposting to say that I still appreciate Scott Evans, but their service department needs serious work. Ive been rescheduled for service twice because there are not enough mechanics and no loaner cars. I understand busy businesses, but putting my car issues that could result in harm to myself or my family should not have to continue to wait. Especially when at the time of purchase I was guaranteed satisfactory service and I actually pay for your extended service plan. This is absurd. ----- My need for a new vehicle came at the most inopportune and inconvenient time - but when does it ever really come at the perfect time for most? I owned a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with over 170,000 miles and problems starting to arise quickly. I met with Clint Long and he immediately introduced me to the 2016 Patriot Latitude. I test drove it and loved it. It was small, spacious and convenient all at once. In my financial situation, like so many of us, its not up to par and the economy isnt doing anything to help at all - I sat down with Josh and Clint and they really worked their behinds off with me. After quite some time there, I had to leave and I would sleep on a decision. The following day a lot of things occurred and I was placed in a more compromising predicament with my fathers health. Little did I know I had a blessing waiting on me at Scott Evans. Throughout that evening, they worked on my deal and was able to get me into that beautiful 2016 Jeep Patriot for exactly what I could afford monthly. I closed my deal with Mr. Rodney [Mr. Clint Long left for vacation! :-)] and he was just as kind and caring as Clint and Josh. I cannot tell you what kind of heart, soul and compassion these ladies and gentlemen have at Scott Evans, but I do know that my grandfather used them for years and Im very glad I went just as he did years ago. Thank you all very much that had a part in my transition from my old jeep to my new one. My family and I love it and we are so thankful to be a part of the Scott Evans family.

Cant say enough about my experience with Scott Evans CDJR! Clint Long, our sales rep, was extremely accommodating throughout our out of state purchasing experience. Purchasing a vehicle site unseen was unsettling enough as it was but Clint assured us on the details and condition of the vehicle. We made arrangements to fly into ATL airport the day we took delivery. Clint had someone waiting for us to bring us to the dealership. Roger, who picked us up called us the day before to make sure we had his contact information and details so everyone was on the same page. He promptly picked us up and made the 1 hour trip to Carrolton, GA seem like 15 minutes. Super nice guy, great conversation! Upon arrival and seeing the car for the first time I was taken back by its condition. Satisfied was an understatement. Clint was there and greeted us like we were old friends of his. Our time at the dealership (about an hour) was extremely pleasant. I was greeted by Josh, the finance manager as well as Scott Evans himself who took the time to pull me aside to make sure I didnt have any concerns and to see how things were going. All of this while the showroom floor was pretty busy with customers. Over all, this is ranked personally as the best experience Ive had when buying a car. Ive owned quite a lot of cars in my time, so this says a lot about SCDJ and their staff. The car: 2010 BMW 135i. Ive searched hard and long for one of these here recently. The car was a one owner with 47k miles. When Clint says "immaculate, clean, like new" he wasnt exaggerating in the least. She looked like she just rolled off the showroom floor. If youre looking for a vehicle, ask for Clint. Whatever he tells you trust in his words. Stand up guy! With my future purchases I will be keeping SCDJ in mind, if they have what Im looking for I will make that 7 hour trip without hesitation. Happy customer -W. Whitehurst

My husband went into the dealership to see about trading in his truck. The sales guy, Roy Parker, asked my husband to get my information to see about doing a joint application. I was at work and my husband told Roy that. He texted me and got my social security number and was assuming that they would wait until I arrived to get my consent for the credit application. I asked Roy when I got there if they ran my credit. He told me that he had gotten consent from my husband. My husband never gave him consent. When I asked him to call and get it taken off or reversed to get it off my credit, he told me he would call and get it taken care of! I wasnt accepting that and asked for the manager. I talked to Sylvester Buckner, the "general manager" of the dealership, and he told us that he couldnt do anything. I explained that Roy just told me that he could and would get it taken care of. Roy denied ever bit of it! Sylvester refused to help me get the issue resolved and told me that because he is my husband he can give consent. I had to call Equifax when I was there and they told me that the dealership should be able to remove it and that it was against the law to pull MY credit report with out MY consent and that if it was over the phone the dealership would need to be the one to take the information, not through another person. Sylvester sat at his desk and just stared at us until I asked him to at least give me something showing he pulled my credit. At that point the whole pulling my credit issue was a small problem. The fact that 1 of the employees there is a complete LIAR and the GENERAL MANAGER was completely rude and the least bit helpful! I am considering suing!

I Went to Scott Evens today wanting to test drive a Dodge journey, and get some information regarding this vehicle because im looking for a new suv. I walked around the car lot with my husband for about 10 to 15 minutes looking at different journeys, we even walked over to look at the jeep patriots. At no point did any sales person come out to see if we needed help so we decided to go inside. There were 3 salesmen inside, one who was sitting to the right of the front door was with a customer but he never even looked up to acknowledge us as we stood there. ANOTHER salesmen was at the copier, and another was in one of the offices with the door open and no customer. We continued to walk down the aisle toward the guy who was at the copier who turned looked at us and walked over to his desk where a customer was sitting, without again saying absolutely nothing to us. We have never been ignored at a car dealership and we have brought and paid for over 7 cars between the two of us, to not even acknowledge us with a hello somebody will be right with you was rude and we were in shock. We went there based upon the fact that they continue to stress the importance that they help everyone in their ads and their customer service is the best. We also wanted to buy local but we left, without any help and will take our business somewhere else.
