This is for the grooming-- if I could give them a 0... I would. They ALWAYS call and have to cancel or reschedule my appointment, and when I say always I mean 9 out of the 10 times I make an appointment. It happened earlier this week. They ended up giving me an appointment for this afternoon I took my dog and got there exactly at 4pm which was my appointment time (I have a husky) I no sooner got home and I got a phone call (at 4:30pm) saying I needed to come get my dog because he was "misbehaving in the dryer". Which has NEVER happened before and he has been here countless times. Regardless I went to pick him up and the excuse they gave me was that "it says on his file that he should have weekend appointments because it is too noisy and loud and he can get anxious"-- well first of all, if you didnt cancel on me earlier on in the week this wouldnt have happened. Second, if said information is "in his file" shouldnt I know about it so I DO NOT make an appointment for the weekend? How about you just hire people who can actually handle grooming dogs. Lets start there.

A family member of mine purchased a water filter which includes a cartridge from here, but we were shocked upon opening it. There was a disgusting, used cartridge inside of the filter, which was full of turtle feces, and on top of that, the filter didnt even work. I called the store and got an attitude from the first employee, then the manager just said that I "have 60 days to exchange it." Really, thats your response? Without considering the wasted time, effort, and money that the customer has to put in to drive and purchase the item, the managers response is generic and inconsiderate. How unprofessional. Whatever happened to caring about the customer? Arent you supposed to check your merchandise before you sell it? Im very disappointed. I wasnt offered anything in return for my inconvenience, nor did I even get an apology. PetSmart should be ashamed.

I took my dog in to be Groomed at petsmart at Yonkers ave, it was a nightmare for me and my dog, I only gave them a 1 star rating because I had to put something down otherwise I would had given it a zero, never again will I have my dog groomed there except for dog food thats it, the groomer called me on my cell phone telling me that she was having a rough time grooming the dog saying she wouldnt stay still, she told me she did the best she could and to pick up the dog, at first when I saw my dog she didnt look bad so i gave her a $10.00 tip, that was until I got home and realized the terrible job she had done on my dog, she was chopped up all over her body very badly,the genital area was shave to close to the skin,,and she did a terrible job on her paws, my advise to any dog lovers do not go there to have your dog groomed, inexperienced dog groomers.

I made an appointment with them and took all documents they request and more. After losing our dog for 10 months and we finally got him back and we found out he HAD heartworms. I took the bloodwork to my appointment to show them he no longer has heartworm, test was done a week with our vet. The lady said she wasnt a vet and couldnt read the lab results so she refused to groom by dog. He had his rabbis shot and up to date vaccines which thats the only thing they "required" so I dont understand why they would turn us away for something he use to have. Maybe this place need to get employees that are more useful and capable to read a lab result that clearly says normal. Ive been a loyal customer for years and I cant believe how insensitive the staff was to our situation. I will never come here again!!!!

I use to like this place but after my dog bite someone (not my dogs fault) they been acting stink. I called in for an appointment they called back to confirm. The next day they called and said I dont know who told you can make an appointment but due to the incident your dog can no longer come back here. Why did they wait until the day of the appointment to tell me that. And these petsmart people are liars. They gave out my info even when they said they wouldnt. And I did not give permission to do so. Plus my dog had gotten his first uti from them. I would never go back there only if I really needed to.

Be careful of the groomer without experience here IF you must take your dog. Our dog got his balls shaven and they were inflamed for weeks costing us a pretty bundle for taking him to our Vet and medicine not to mention the disconfort he endured. Should anything happen - do not botter taking your pet to the doctors on the premises, they will only cover for PetSmart. This store is not getting my hard end dollars again! Even the store manager discarted re-umbursing us for the grooming. They lost a customer ...hope you listen.

I dont like this petsmart to much. Its not bad ! But some of the people that work there have horrible attitudes or give off that I just want to leave hurry up attitude. The store is clean though and Ive never had my dogs groomed there so I cant give a review on that. So over all nice store bad employees.

Have been taking my shiba inu here for quite awhile. I know shes difficult at the groomer but the guy who was going to do my dog was afraid and chose not to do his job. He asked me to reschedule and I chose not to. If any manager reads this, schedule your staff better! You have lost a loyal customer!

Took my puppy for grooming and had a wonderful experience. Additionally, when I went to pay the cashier she recommended a coupon book available at the store and payed nothing for the service. Nothing better than free service with a smile.

Have been taking our dog here for grooming for almost three years. Knowing our dog is difficult weve had many issues at other groomers, but Kelly here at Petsmart has been wonderful. We could not be more happy.

They dont know what they are doing my dogs hair was cut uneven like a child cut its hair not a professional. I wil never take my dogs here again.

They have what we need. Unfortunately we found the staff to be very unhelpful and at times discourteous. Avoid particular location if you can.
