One month ago I was inclined to give a 5 star review after one of the groomers did amazing with our newly adopted rescue dogs nail trim. She was kind, patient, and soothing for our nervous dog. I think her name was Mollie or something close... blonde hair and said she handles the big dogs. She had me leaving there feeling so relieved it went so well! Today was a much different story. The girl we had last time wasnt there, so I repeatedly detailed that our dog is a rescue who gets very nervous when hes here, that he is unsure of his situatuins, but that hes a good dog. The girl (whose name I didnt catch, but she had a purple streak in her black hair with gauged ears) seemed to understand that until she came out from behind the gate and walked toward him with her hand straight out, palm down (as if coming at the dog with a grabbing motion) and he felt threatened and terrified and he snapped at her. He did so while cowering away moving backwards torward the door. He didnt lunge, he didnt attack, he was just showing that he felt threatened by the way she came at him. Hes NEVER done this before. The way she approached him, after fully detailing her about him, had me in disbelief and wondering if she had ever even worked with dogs before! She handed me his leash, suggested going to a vet, then advised training. Lady, I advise you to go through training yourself. You proved today that you did not know how to responsibly approach nervous dogs. I did my part as a responsible dog owner, and what happened today was not my dogs fault. He did great last time with the woman who did his nails. If there was a manager available Id have talked to them, but instead, the public should know that if you have a nervous dog, make sure the girl I described does not handle your sweet pooch.

When I moved up from Florida I had a big surprise waiting for me when it came to the world of Salt-water Aquariums. The entire city has disease ridden over inflated prices and uninterested and money hungry local fish store owners. The big surprise really is Jason in aquatics. This guys your hero, whatever fish, whenever you want it and almost always 75% lower in price than your fleeting local business owner. Its always worth the drive to speak with Jason, let alone check out their inventory. The rest of the staff is also helpful, they take the time to remember their customers (human and pets) names which is also a sign of great service to have such consideration. Great store, who knew a Petco could be such a great place to buy Saltwater fish vs. what nightmare stories the majority of other aquatic departments in other Petco locations have. Great work Jason!

The gooming department is unprofessional and untrained with how to handle dogs who dont sit while getting their nails done. If your dog was raised by Ceaser Milan then the people here can take care of him but if your dog is slightly scared of getting his nails done, dont bother. I will never be going to this location again.

Clean, organized, and the staff is very, very friendly and helpful. Beautiful store and it has everything. The best part is the dog wash station - inexpensive and they provide everything, down to the shampoo and towels. They do the cleanup afterward, too! Cant be beat! 5-stars!

The employees are very kind. They ask you if you need help. They will help you to the best of their abilities. This place also is one of the only PetCo stores to offer self-serve dog wash for $10 which includes 3 bath towels, shampoo, and conditioner.

I took my dog here for grooming 2 years ago. A pekingese. Asked that they NOT cut the hair on his EARS or TAIL at all. Picked him up, he had NO HAIR left on his ears, they cut it all. I will not be back for grooming. Cant follow simple instructions.

Faith in the grooming department does our dogs nail trims. He is difficult to trim and she does a wonderful job every time and is very careful! After several trims with her he has calmed down significantly.
