The veternary service here may kill your pet - unless you have an appointment. We took our cat who suffers from a lung condition here for a urinary infection. They told us we had to wait 1-1.5 hrs because we didnt have an appointment. We explained several times that our cat was sick and was suffering and freaking out. The staff not only didnt seem to care, but after an hour they told us it would be another 1 to 2 hours. All the while happy and healthy pets were being placed in rooms. There is a sign behind the counter that says quite plainly that they will treat sick or injured animals FIRST before a healthy pet. This is a lie. This is totally untrue. We finally had to leave because our cat was so stressed he was starting to not be able to breathe. I hope the staff of this place all receive a small box of compassion for Christmas before some sick animal comes in and something terrible happens because of their total lack of care for anyone without an appointment (read: guaranteed profit im sure...) This place only wants to make money. Shame on all of them.

We dropped off two dogs for a 9am appointments Miniature Schnauzer and a cockapoo.The two dogs were to get a shampoo, anal evacuation, summer cut, trim and buff there nails. we asked to trim his beard. Well when they called at 8pm to pick them up my wife was floored at the sight of our schnauzer. They shaved his beard off completely, but never touched his behind area. When ask why this was done we were told that they over booked and his beard had knots in it. If you know about schnauzers you can come their beards out it will only last until they itch their chin then you get knots back it. We asked to have the back end cut we were told that the groomers were close and no one to do it. When we asked talked to the groomers manager ask why no one called us about them to cut his bread. We got told its hair will grow back! The sad thing is this was the second store. We sent a emailed corporate and have not heard from them, or the store manager about making this right. I will never be taken them back to pet smart. HELLO PET CO!!!

I read the previous review about the dog getting its tail cut, but thought my dog would be safe since I only wanted her nails trimmed. I got into the groomers work space and stood there for a few seconds while an employee was vacuuming in the kennel area. She looked up and saw me, but didnt bother to acknowledge my presence . . . and then I heard another employee from the back aggressively yelling at a dog repeatedly. "Dont you bite me!!" Yeah, thatll calm down an already scared dog. To be fair, I couldnt see what was going on, but nor did I want to place my dog in the care of two questionable groomers wielding a nail cutter. I bought a nail cutter from the cat section (I have a very small dog) and went home and cut her nails myself.

I took my pom/poo in for a trim and full treatment. I told them she had been traumatized after a grooming experience elsewhere and asked them to be gentle and calm with her. I also told them she has a heart murmur and knee dysplagia. When I went to pick her up they were still working with her and I watched without getting in her sight line. They were extremely gentle, she never looked fearful, they did a beautiful job. The groomer told me about the process he used to protect her knees. I will go back there for all of her grooming needs.

I took my Brittany to Richfield PetsMart for a bath and basic cut. I specifically told them three times not to cut her tail. What do you suppose I found when I returned??? I will bath and cut the dog myself before I take her there again. They not only didnt listen, but appeared not to care when I brought it to their attention. They didnt say they were sorry nor did they offer me any recourse. I had to wait until the next day to speak with the manager and then got my money back. I have taken all my business elsewhere.

I would HIGHLY recommend this location. I was accidently sold the wrong tank for a Bearded Dragon that I bought, and the manager was totally understanding. Even though this was bought all the way back in April. He made me feel very comfortable, and made me feel very respected!!! I live further away from this location, but choose this one in particular because of how well they treat their customers. Thank You SO MUCH!!

I have never seen such consistant shaggy, missed spots, and lack of quality. I went to petsmart in St. Louis Park, and never experience this type of amature quality. I have gone to Blooming several times thinking next time wii b e better, but it NEVER is. I would think the grooming dept. manager isnt worried about comes out of there

My dog went in with a toe injury and they took extra care to make sure it was well cared for while they groomed him and made him not a stinky dog. The staff seemed happy and calm which made leaving my dog in their care a lot easier for me. Their prices seem very reasonable. The dog came out looking good and in high spirits.

Brought my cat in today for a lions cut, they did a horrible job AND they cut his nails w/o telling me that it was in the package PLUS they cut his nails way to short.... ALSO they didnt even brush the shaved hair off of him... so the cage and my cat were full of hair.... never going there again!

This store sells very sick fish. The tanks have dead fish in them, many of the live fish are covered with Ick. I saw a fancy goldfish stuck to a filter intake, dying. At least remove the obviously sick or dead fish. I was appalled and will never go here again.

Petsmart is an awesome place to shop, I am a fish person so I enjoy checking out the fish when I go to pet stores. One complaint I have about petsmart is their fish selection. They dont have saltwater fish like Petco does, which Is a bummer.

The age of the building shows but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I can come here and get a fair price on quality products and they have a bin of clearance toys by the front which I love.

A lady that works in the front desk of the grooming area is terribly rude. She has tattoos on her arms and hope I dont see her again. Cashiers are incredibly helpful and friendly!
