Summary: 1. Transaction speed and delivery were great. 2. Communication was fair. A few days of delay can cause some angst. Im sure there are some challenges on the dealer end in title transmission and other areas. 3. Despite a few challenges along the way, I do trust the sales person, Tyler and the dealership. I was looking for and purchased a very specific car (Honda Civic Si). The wiring instructions were easy to follow and all the needed information was there. The dealer FedExed the purchase contract and I received it quickly. I paid for the car right away and transport was arranged by the dealer and it went well. The car was delivered quickly. The delivery person delivered the car expeditiously, three days after purchase. He changed the plan for delivery several times and for several hours on the day of delivery was unable to be contacted during the time I was expecting the car to be delivered. He told me he had fallen asleep. The driver made me feel as if I was required to give him a tip on delivery, which I did do. Im certain he had worked hard to deliver the car to me as quickly as possible. In the end, the car was delivered quickly in 3 days and it arrived in good condition. Plus the dealership did a great job arranging the transportation and it was not very expensive. The car was not detailed well on the inside. There was lots of caked up dirt on the knobs and pedals, and steering wheel, although the car cleaned up well. The outside was not much better, though its challenging to say what was done, since the car went though a few days of transport on the car transporter. The car had an aftermarket exhaust that was extremely noisy. This was in the vehicle description, though I did not see it. I no longer have access to the description. I spoke with the sales person, who said he had personally driven it and it drove well. Other than the exhaust noise, this was true. This exhaust cost me just under $1000 to fix. Given the low price of the car, it was OK, though obviously disappointing. I was able to print the temporary tags from my own location, so that was nice, although I had to ask for the tag to be emailed to me and it was emailed shortly after. The temporary tags give you 20 days from the date of purchase to get the title transferred, so by the time the tag was emailed and the car was delivered I was already down to 18 days. 10 days have passed since the purchase of the vehicle and the title is going to be either sent today (Saturday) or in two days (Monday). By the time the title gets here (hopefully by FedEx) I will have about a week to get the title transferred, which should be OK, although out of state buyers should plan for this. Communication was fair throughout the process. A day or two of delay in communication seems like a lifetime when youre dealing with a transaction like this and the level of trust in purchasing a car sight unseen from another state has to be tremendous. I asked about the title on Monday (4 days after the sale, as I was hoping the title would be delivered with the car on Saturday), was told by the sales person he believed it takes about 5-6 days for delivery of the title and that he would get back to me shortly, then on Saturday, 5 days later that the title would be sent either that day or two days later on Monday. Its only been 9 days since the car was officially purchased, but I dont yet have the title, although I do feel confident that it will be delivered soon. I wish the title could have been sent at the same time as the car, perhaps by mail in order to avoid having car and title transported together. In the past when buying used cars, I have always received the title with the purchase of the car. Summary: 1. Transaction speed and delivery were great. 2. Communication was fair. A few days of delay can cause some angst. Im sure there are some challenges on the dealer end in title transmission and other areas. 3. Despite a few challenges along the way, I do trust the sales person, Tyler and the dealership.

My experience with TSJ began as a pleasant one and within a week, I had completed a purchase. I was happy with the vehicle - fun to drive and a price that worked for me. Unfortunately, when called upon to fulfill their obligation to make the vehicle pass inspection, TSJ showed only disrespect, contempt, dishonesty and an enormous capacity for scamming. As is suggested I brought the used car I bought from TSJ to be inspected. The state inspector told me the sticker was fake and there was no catalytic converter. I contact TSJ and they want the car for 2 days to put one in. I leave it with them and they keep it for almost a week. I was told my rental would be reimbursed (still has not). All week long I get the same song and dance - almost done, just waiting for a part. Then they tell me they are just waiting for inspection - I tell them I will get it inspected and I do so two days later. Guess what they did? NOTHING. Next they send a driver up to switch cars (I live about an hour and a half away) so they can finally do the work. 6 hours later, car is back with an inspection sticker and ostensibly, a catalytic converter. I assume they did what they told me and go on with my life. I followed up about the rental reimbursement after a month - I was told it would be handled and then after that I was ignored - there were 3 more emails sent. In December, I took the car in for routine maintenance and to my dismay, my mechanic informed me that there was no catalytic converter and someone had tampered with the rear O2 sensor to trick the computer. Now they want me to bring the car and leave it with them again. I told them that I dont trust them with my car and am pursuing a monetary solution. They are fighting me every step of the way. I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE CONSIDERING BUYING FROM TSJ TO GO ELSEWHERE.

I have been shopping for a car for my son for a few months now. I have been to many dealerships and met many salepeople. By far this was a very pleasant experience. Found a truck on carfax at this dealership. When we got there i was very pleased with the inventory. We were greeted while looking around. Also asked if there was anything we wanted to test drive. We were introduced to Lenny, a salesman. Lenny immediatly pulled up the carfax and printed it out for us. Didnt have to ask. They got the car out for us and gave us the keys and told to take our time. No one accompanied us on our drive. We were able to discuss what we liked and didnt like. When we got back to the dealership, i saw another truck i was interested in. Again Lenny pulled up carfax for us. We did that same thing a 3rd time. Our saleman was very patient and informative on all of the vehicles we test drove. Now the decision and financing. We had 2 late mortgage payment this year. So of course it affected our credit. We knew that already going into it. Finance was able to get us a decent interest rate especially compared to other dealers. The truck was a bit more than we wanted to spend. These people worked with us and got our payments where they needed to be. Overall, this was a really good experience. I will definetly be back to buy another vehicle next year for my daughter. Thank you to our salesman Lenny and all at TSJ for such a great car buying experience!
