Had a iron fitting at the Robinson store in the Pittsburgh, Pa area. Started out hitting three balls, three different times with the Mizuno shaft optimiser. This gave them a reading and recommendations on what might be the best shaft fit for my swing. Then, I hit three balls with each recommended iron shaft. A total of four shafts were tried with ONE iron head. The GG fitter said I could only try ONE iron head during the fitting. I thought that was a joke in itself....Im there to get fitted for what may be the best for my swing. Then he fills out his fitting sheet saying I need a one inch over standard length iron shaft, mid-size grips, and 110g shaft in a stiff flex. Doesnt even put down what kind of shaft ( brand), wth? Inquires if I would like to go ahead and place the order today. Uh, NO. The price for this fitting was $49.99. Grant it, this is not much, BUT for what I got it was way too much. I feel like I got ripped off. If your looking for a professional club fitting, then do not go to Golf Galaxy!

Seen a lot of negative reviews and was skeptical about what i was going to experience. Went to the store to buy a whole new golf club set. store was nice. huge selection, good layout. was approched nicely by several associates about needing help or anything while i was browsing. Then we encountered a gentleman named Bill. He was super nice, very attentive, answered questions when asked and had no problem helping any chance he could. made the whole golf fitting experience fun (it was my first time) and even helped pick out new shoes and other items. If you go ask for Bill, you wont be disappointed. overall i had a great experience there.

I walked into the store today with every intention of purchasing a new set of irons. I had a Mizuno model in mind as well as the new Taylor M1s...figured I could demo them, get fitted, then get the order taken care of. I finally tracked down a salesman, told him what my plan was and he begrudgingly took me to the simulator. He did get me set up with the 2 demo irons, then he went to help another customer. I proceeded to walk out after 15 minutes of no help and taking practice swings with no balls in the simulator. Its a gorgeous store, great selection, just horrible customer service.

Terrible customer service. The manager Chris is great but some of the older gentlemen dont give you the time of day if you arent as old as they are or look like you have money. Like someone else wrote they make it seem like youre bothering them. I was helping a friend search for irons and one of the taller older gentleman could not have acted more disgusted that he wanted to try a couple different shafts. Didnt ask him how he liked anything, what he was looking for, or any questions. Didnt even respond when we would request something new.

Sometimes when need golf shafts or that type of things I look them up on website to see if they have them I go to store we dont have any they dont make that shaft I show them the shafts on there website they ask whose site is that I show them its there site answer we dont have any we cant get them after I drive 25 miles most of the time I just as well go straight to ebay or golf works dont waist my time Im just about ready to go somewhere else thanks Jimmy Williams

This place is garbage. The older guy that works there was trying to get us out of the store 10 minutes before they closed. They even had the doors locked at 8:55pm. I wasnt trying to keep you there until 9:15. I would have left before you closed at 9pm. Get some younger non-disgruntled associates.

Stuck up. The old guy didnt seem to know what he was talking about. Was telling me that all the clubs in a set were all graphite shafts. Then he started to pull them out and they werent. He acted as if we were bothering him. If I had to buy clubs here I would rather not golf at all.

Customer service is awful. There were not a lot of customers and not one employee offered to help my husband or myself. And the funny thing is when we were leaving one of the employees was talking about good customer service.
