I just back from an appointment at Visionworks~~excellent service from the optician to the optometrist...highly recommend it to my local friends. I learned some things about my eyes I didnt even know; the eye doc is an exceptionally patient and sweet girl...aside from the "baby cataracts" she noted some scarring on an eye that had to be from 20 some years ago but all the eye docs Ive been to since (and Ive been to a few) never asked about it...then the optician took my current bent titanium glasses (that I sat on some 6 months ago and never could get rebent properly) and in less than 10 seconds made them right again...thanks Benjamin! Great experience and highly recommend them for your vision needs...

Dr. Tyno is the best, most caring Optometrist I have ever been to. She has these special glasses to help you hone in on a perfect prescription and is extremely precise. I also needed glasses for visionworks quickly because of an infection in my eye from a torn contact. I went in and to my surprise, they were able to make me a pair of generic glasses in hour. Amazing place. So glad Dr. Tyno moved into the area. Pam K.

Told me they took my insurance over the phone, and they are on my insurance companys website. I show up for the appointment and a young woman comes out of the back to tell the guy checking me in that I am "the guy I told you about" whos insurance they are not set up to receive. No phone call for me about this very important information. Waste of time.

Mixed feelings. Dr Tyno was really good and they got me in the same day. But far as getting the glasses made is another story. Paid in full at time of exam and was told 7-10 days. going on 2.5 weeks now. Wont be going back.

Ridiculous, uneducated staff. Couldnt understand that our insurance is BLUE CROSS/BLUE SHIELD through Hagerstown Teamsters. Gave my daughter a huge around til she finally left without having her appointment. We wont be back.
