Absolutely one of the worst customer service and business experiences I have had in home repair/remodel. We ordered 6 windows nearly 2 months ago. The sales rep who came to our home was extremely nice and helpful (I give credit where credit is due and that is only fair). It Took nearly two months to get windows in which I understood. The windows have been and are still sitting in Georgetown TX. We had an agreement the windows would be installed today (Tuesday June 20th). I did not hear from Russell glass company at all for hours and decided to call them to find out when they were coming. When I called it became obvious they had no clue as to what was going on and had to even "confirm" my address????? WTH. After hours of waiting and sitting around when I could have been working my other job, Russell Glass contacted me and stated they ran into difficulties at another job before mine and now cannot come until Thursday June 22nd. I had already scheduled to have shutters installed Thursday morning seeing as the new windows were supposed to be installed today. So they ran into a difficulty that is going to take 2 days to resolve? I dont think so and if you are having those type of difficulties, I do not want your product. Sounds like an excuse and cop out as to why they are so unorganized and chaotic at their office. I am requesting a refund as they have you put half of the money down before you order the windows. I was told they were going to call me back in reference to the refund and I have not heard a peep from them since. So when they screw up your order which they did on my two small entrance windows and then realize they were supposed to have installed windows but didnt while you sit at home and wait and waste your time until you have to call them, they get a little attitude with you as if you are supposed to be happy with them. Sorry but blues skies, butterflies, orange slices and trophies doesnt work in the business world as my wife and I are very dissatisfied how this entire project has gone.I highly suggest you shop around and we highly do not recommend this company to do business with.

This place did not take care of us well. We had asked them to send our glass out for tempering, blunt the corners of the glass for our table, in addition to cutting two inches off it. They neglected to do this bumping of the corners whatsoever. Consequently, what was to be our nice tabletop now has ugly sharp corners which our kids can injure themselves upon. Do not have this place cut a tabletop---they cant do fancy polished edges or tempering, they can only send out for it. They charged us an additional $85 for tempering which they dont do in house. They told us later after the "mystery person in another shop where it was tempered" broke our original piece, purchased elsewhere, that they werent liable since they didnt pay the person doing the service. Therefore, we paid THEM $85 for a free, likely amateur tempering job done by folks WHO DID NOT GET PAID themselves for the tempering---no refund there. They covered this up by saying, "We can get you another piece glass, already cut and tempered, for an additional $50." Kudos for trying to make it right, but it was more expensive, and still no bumped corners afterwards as listed on the invoice. We had no choice but to agree at this point since we didnt want to spend hundreds more on glass elsewhere, and after $150 all we have to show for it is a table with sharp corners.

Recently we had an issue with an over-sized sliding patio door that was beginning to leak moisture. Russell came out and determined that there were no easy solutions to replacing the over-sized doors as no one wanted to make and warranty them. They came up with another creative solution that used another type of frame and glass that could be made to the size. This replaced the slider and matches almost perfectly another slider of the same size separated by only a column. The solution and the craftsmanship were excellent. Their service personnel were on time, polite and cleaned up completely when they finished. Very happy with the job and would recommend the company!

Our vehicle was caught in the recent hailstorm in Austin with both front windshield and back window blown out from hail. All the glass repair shops were full. Vivian, at Russell Glass, was so kind to us. She was able to fit our car into the schedule and procured our glass from San Antonio. Their service was awesome and staff very professional. Plus Vivian was so nice to us during a very stressful time. The repair job was done perfectly and we HIGHLY recommend Russell Glass to anyone who wants a quality job from extremely nice people!

Ive been using Russell Glass for many years now. Theyve replaced our windshield, installed a frameless shower and we put glass tops on all of our wooden furniture...ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND to anyone if you need to get something glass related done. They came out the same day to replace my wifes windshield. Great Service!!!!

Very professional from scheduling to completing a project. I had a large 6 by 5 bathroom mirror that needed to be cut down. When I called they couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. When they arrived they worked quickly and cleaned up any mess that they made. They were also very friendly and helpful.

Fast and friendly service ... I have a hutch that I inherited from my parents and it is was missing a glass shelf. I took the remaining shelf in and Russells Glass was able to duplicate the shelf, perfectly, and within 48 hours! My treasured hutch is now complete thanks to Russells Glass.
