Petsmart grooming in general is terrible. I have found much cheaper places in lubbock and a lot friendlier groomers. I took my dogs to the slide rd lubbock petsmart twice one time Bobby groomed my dog and I heard him yelling at my dog and jerking the leash around and being highly agressive with my dog. Then he said he had to muzzle my dog when i picked him up... now with the behaviour i saw when i dropped him off I wonder why. Then I decided I would try the store on Marsha Sharp. I have been there a few times now, the grooming service is ok but their groomers are rude! This last time, the only person that was nice to me was Janette when she booked my appointment there in the salon she was very polite and professional. I brought my dog in that saturday to be groomed. A girl with short dark hair refused to help me because she wasnt grooming my dog. She was sitting at the computer counter playing games on her cellphone. All she did was move out of the way and was still playing with her cellphone the WHOLE TIME. Who refuses to help someone?! It is your job to take care of me and my pet! Amanda checked me and my dog in and was very rude and showing that she was unhappy to have to be the one to check my dog in. Angel was the girl that did my dogs hair cut. It was lopsided the dog was dirty and it had chunks taken out of it. I have lost my ability to be polite with these people and I took my dog to Reeses where they fixed Angels poor grooming job for free. They will Forever have my business!

We took our sweet Pup into the Groomers today. We normally dont use Petsmart but we were out of town and he was starting to get smelly from traveling. At first, the experience was great. We notified the lady that checked our pup in that he had anxiety issues and thats why he wears a thunder shirt, but of course, he couldnt keep it on while he was with them. We left our baby in their hands for an hour and a half when we get a phone call saying we needed to come get our dog because he was bleeding. WHAT? We quickly showed up and was told that he tried to "dig out of his kennel" and that his front paws were torn, but they had cleaned him up to their best ability. Now, our dog is used to a kennel, he has torn up a kennel before and did that without hurting himself. I would think that someone would have noticed him clawing at his kennel before the extent of him hurting himself. We will not be going back and I dont think you should either.

What a terrible experience... I wanted to buy a bearded dragon today but the girl who was working yesterday late afternoon, and I say that specifically because I hope they read this and know how rude of an employee I dealt with was, but her customer service was the whole reason I left and will never come back as I am a frequent shopper whom Ive adopted multiple guinea pigs and a ferret from and you have now lost a good customer. The girl was rude and when I tried to ask a question I only was ignored and when I kindly showed interest and patience about the bearded dragon I received a rude attitude and behavior as if she was telling me to leave. Ive never had to write a review for any place but with my love and experience for animals and all PetSmarts, I had to bring to attention that no matter where you are employees should never act as rude as she did.

I came in today to check the prices of grooming and a girl with short hair was dancing around the salon and I could hear her SCREAMING through the glass window and closed door. That should have been my first indicator to turn around and walk away. When I came in I was helped with the prices and got the information and the girl was very nice and polite. While I was in their though a heavy set girl with blonde streaky hair was slamming drawers and throwing things around and cussing walking in and out of the back door. I will NEVER come into this grooming place again

Saw a beautiful, well groomed, scared, obviously lost kitty in parking lot by PetSmart (Marsha Sharp). Asked if one of the PetSmart people would please help get it. VERY HATEFULLY SAID WE DONT HAVE TIME!!!! WERE TOO BUSY AND WE DONT DO THAT!!!! Fortunately, a person in the parking lot came to the rescue. It took only a couple of minutes to get the poor baby. Its paws were not accustomed to being outside. Took it to a vet. It had a chip and was reunited with its human. Will not ever shop here again.

Took my dog to be groomed a couple times and each time it got worse, not only did they take 4 hours to groom him but we never got a call to pick him up. And when we went to check on him, i asked one of the workers why we never got a call and she ignored me. Horrible service, and even after giving specific grooming they still managed to cut it completely different. AND when we picked him up his eye was extremely red and irritated. I do not recommend the groomers what so ever

Huge store, I am sure you will find most of what you need here. I went during later business hours so I am guessing staff is lower at this time despite the still medium traffic in the store. It took me a little while to find someone to help me with something. The staff is courteous for the most part.

Our new baby went there the first time today. Staff offered training courses. Along with seeming to be knowledgeable of training methods and tools, But it didnt seem like an up sale. They didnt push products on me They genuinely seemed to want me to have a better time with my new fur baby

THE TRAINING CLASS WAS GOOD BUT THE TEACHER SARA SMELLS LIKE SHE HASNT SHOWERED IN WEEKS. SHE HAD BLOOD STAINS ON HER PANTS IT WAS SO GROSS I CANT STAND IT. I WILL GO TO ANOTHER TRAINER AFTER HER OR ANOTHER STORE IF NEEDED.

Friendly, helpful staff. Price tags missing amd store is understaffed. Pet smart tends to be priced higher than other places in town that offer the same items. Small pets and reptiles included.

Would not let me post a flyer of our missing dog on their lost & found bulletin because it was "too big" (standard paper size). The petsmart on slide road allowed it. Chiidii!!!!!!!

I love this store. Everyone is so nice, they always ask how my animals are doing. I think their customer service is great, there is always someone willing to help.
