Ive been here a few times for certain things: Fish, aquatic plants, etc. and Even though im not in authority in the fish world, I can tell you that their tanks are unkempt, and service is certainly not the best it could be. As far as their reptiles and anphibians go, they clearly came from exotic "mills" or just not a great breeder. They are also fairly overpriced. When I have been there, the ladies who work there are usually quite quick to help and answered my questions to the best of their ability. I dont mind going because of the caring employees. As far as their stock of animals is concerned, it varies like CRAZY. I saw poison dart frogs in there once (of which I am educated on the subject, and really like them as a "pet hobby") and sometimes it takes months to get certain fish and other stuff in:) I think that it has really improved since the boom and I genuinely hope it continues to do so. It is far from the excellence of the high end pet shops in the portland-Seattle area, but for williston, it gets the job done. I reccomend looking elswhere for reptiles though or at least get your facts straight on what your buying and how to tell if it is healthy or not.

They are not very knowledgeable on the fish they sell (Puffers are not FRESHWATER fish as I was told but BRACKISH). They tell you that they will replace a fish if it dies within the timeframe BUT its been 6 months and I still havent got the replacement OR they replace the fish with something you dont want. You can ask them to order you something that you need and they either sell it to another customer before you get there OR forget to order it and blame another employee for not ordering it. As for their puppies, I bought 2 from them a year apart and all seemed to be fine at first, now that one will be 3 in August her hips are bad and the one that will be 2 in April has A LOT of problems (according to the vet, he has seen 4 of my 2 year olds siblings with the same problems as her and he thinks she came from a puppy mill). Id rather drive 2 1/2 hours one way to get my fish supplies than to deal with them and the problems they have at home or work (which they gladly share with the customer)

Terrible experience. I took my pup to be groomed, when she asked how Id like her cut I told the groomer specifically what I wanted. She seemed out of focus and rushing me out because I seem to have inturupted the conversation she was having. Came to pick my pup up and she SHAVED her! Uneven cut, looks like she was in a rush doing it. I also asked that she trim her nails and she left them unfiled and ridged. I had a great experience the first time I got her groomed but after this result. I will not be trusting Paw Prints and Fish Tails to do anything again. 10/10 would not recommend. Groomers obviously cannot pay attention to detail.

Horrible we have been trying to get a rat from this location for the past two months and they never have any on hand. Then we decided to get feeder mice because our python needs to eat and he wouldnt strike because they are so small and when I tried to return the other three we didnt use because he wouldnt feed they said they cant take them back but I can donate them? When I havent even opened the other box or touched the other three we didnt use. Terrible selection considering their the only pet store in Williston youd expect better service! I dont recommend this location they need to step up there customer service.

My dog was recently groomed, it was such a horrible job she was left alone for who knows how long and was nicked and cut in several places, not only did I never meet the groomer to begin with, she wasnt there when I picked up my dog. I am very upset and will NEVER take my dog there again. Also it took ten minutes before someone came to the front counter. The store in general smelled upon entering and products are over priced. I dont think that the owner cares about their reputation.

Dont bring you dog here for grooming!! Very poor services. When groomer was done with my dog & called, I was there within 15 minutes, only to find she already left and my dog was caged in the back with NO water or anything. I found Knicks & cuts on him. I had instructed her NOT to clip his ears & she took over an inch off. Probably why she left before I got there. If I could give a star minus rating I would. DONT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!!

The dogs were groomed poorly! They left patches of hair and you can see lines from where the cut was and was not cut properly on one dog and did not follow requests of cutting the other. She looks like an old man! Very unprofessional experience.

Lots of fish, some birds, rats, a lizard and 3 dogs. Kids had fun looking at them all.
