This Review Is Copied from the Review on Facebook: There is one person who has had to help me multiple times and SHE is the reason I keep going back and will only work with her. Thanks Faith. 1st Negative Experience: Buying my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. I had walked in - recently purchased my Santa Fe (2010) through them, and waited for almost a half hour to even get GREETED! After I had told them I wanted to test drive a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.0 L Sport, they hooked me up with the sales lady who knew NOTHING about the car - and did not even attempt to sell me the car. I had asked about getting one shipped from another dealership in their area and they told me it WAS NOT POSSIBLE! I ended up going into Billion Auto in Sioux Falls, SD after they worked their butts off to get me my car - After, I have called Hyundai Corporate to put in a dealership complaint on Gateway - they hooked me up with Billion and there was a mutual understanding that I have had THREE Hyundais and I am a LOYAL CUSTOMER. 2nd Negative experience: Oil Change on new car - After my first oil change done, I had ran into an issue with the Gas Cap Sensor. Instead of telling me it was a known issue and replacing that sensor. They had sent me away. I was going on a 450 mi. trip and wanted to make sure my car was tip-top, Eventually I got to the Hyundai Dealership in Minot, ND (Don Basset) - and they ended up taking care of me. 3rd Negative Experience: Another oil change - I had gotten in right away at 7 am, and it still took 5 hours for an OIL CHANGE and Fluid. This is the incident where Faith had blown my socks off and went above and beyond to find a way to make this a semi-pleasant experience. 4th Negative Experience: I had called ahead to let them know that I would be stopping in around 4:15 or 4:30 because my drivers side seat is loose. Which is a lovely safety issue since the bolts keep the chair in place during a collision and are rated for X amount of Force, when one is faulty - that kind of ruins that safety element. I had pulled up and had to wait for 2 employees to stop talking in front of the service door for about 10 minutes in the courtesy vehicle. After I finally got in the service garage, I was told getting the bolt tightened would be about a half hour to get in. Naturally I was expecting to be gone in about an hour or shortly thereafter based on this estimate. An hour and a half had passed before I went back out to the service counters and I ended up having to talk to a service associate to even get a status update on my vehicle. He had informed me that they havent even STARTED my service work, yet still saw vehicles that were in after me - be done before mine. I ended up leaving, and will be going to Eide Hyundai in Grand Forks to finally get this drivers seat issue taken care of.... I find it AMAZING. I can walk into ANY OTHER Hyundai Dealership and they can see my record and I get taken care of - but the second I walk into Gateway, I feel as if they have me labled as an idiot. I would fix the bolt in my Drivers Seat myself - however, there would be no record of it ever getting loose, just in case it ever became a problem.

If there was a zero star they would get it. I dont even know where to start... At one time I lived in the apartments over looking the west entrance. It was a daily thing to see brand new cars with dealer plates flying down the street if not drag racing. There was always one person in the car and one could tell they were white collar job holders with just a glance. I have no idea if this is still a common problem. My roommate purchased a new pickup form them and they messed up so bad they discounted additional dealer only options at cost. They dont know it yet but after the truck was in there three times for install corrections the truck stopped going in. The the truck will go back just before warranty runs out to correct what should have been done 2nd time it was there and this time it was cost them major labor. The most recent visit I made there was for a car now sent down the road even though it was still under factory warranty. About 7 months ago it over heated on the interstate. It sat there for almost a week. About two moths ago the same car started burning oil. When it failed their tests with flying colors it sat in this shop for a few more days every time they were called. What ended up being well over two weeks and of the items replaced valves, pistons, turbo and a few other things. When asked if the head or deck was checked for warpage the reply was "No, why would we - there were no signs." "We drove it around and did a lot of testing." When driving off the lot the odometer was MILES (about 8) below what the paperwork showed. The car is now someone elses problem waiting to happen. Dont even get me started on oil changes...If you got there at 7 am (they open at 8 am) I hope you also have a sack lunch because you will need it.

Just drove off the lot with my new Equinox. This is actually the second one Robert helped me get into, and hes a great guy. Im incredibly nervous and indecisive when it comes to large purchases, and Robert is phenomenal at going through the deal at my pace and making sure Im ok with it. He was great and giving me the breakdown of vehicles they had available, and knowing exactly which features are must and which ones that I hadnt thought of but that I would like and appreciate in my new car. Thats the best thing about Robert-he actually gets to know you so he can get you a vehicle that is going to suit your needs, and not just sell the most expensive thing on the lot. Hes willing to help you out anytime, even if its two years since you bought the vehicle and you are just have troubles figuring out a feature. Even though I love the car I just brought home, Im already looking forward to working with Robert again on the next car. Ive looked at buying elsewhere in the past, and Gateway is the only place where I havent felt pressured into buying something or that I was wasting the salesmans time if I wasnt whipping out the checkbook. They are great at explaining the process and answering all my questions, both in picking out the car and in the financing office. Ive also worked extensively with their quick lube (only place in town Ill have my vehicle serviced) and their shop, and both have been great to me. I love Gateway both for the guys working on the floor and in the shop-cant go wrong when both sides work together as well as they do.

The price on the car was $11,376 for a 2010 Toyota Camry sounds great right. Well I got the trade value of the car I had already and was told they would only give me $750 for it because that was the actual cash value.... Last time I checked the book value is what places go by so no clue what this even means. Further more when the sale got written up they added more to the trade price of my car so it looked good to the bank sounds good again, but when I got to the bank we realized that they added to the sale price as well. When the numbers we subtracted instead of the $750.00 I was thought to be getting it only came out to be around $150 for the trade car. Book value average trade on my car was $1900.00. My bank even called them to ask why the price was not what was listed online and was told to him that they were having problems with there internet and some prices were wrong online, but they would honor the price online. I went back to the dealership just to drop off the car feeling like they tried scamming me!! Which they were and all of a sudden they wanted me to finance thru them and they could magically get the payments I wanted, and were going to give me more for the car I was trading too. Never again will I be caught going here dont get scammed. Go to Corwin instead they did right by me and gave me more then book value for my trade. Oh this is for the Gateway on university DR but they dont have any place online where I can review just there, but I assume they are are owned by the same people
