My wife carries a small back pack for our 2 year old son with a developmental delay.He is prone to "behaviors" and needs extra care, so my wife has items to help. Cant really discipline him in public. Any way they followed her around pharmacy while I waited in line. She was completely oblivious to this, but I could see what was going on. I have a retail background, and know their tactics. Anyway, I get my prescription, and meet me my wife in the middle of the isle where the people could not see us. I whispered to my wife "youre being followed". She doesnt care and doesnt notice. So I ask her "want to have some fun, because I can prove that you are being followed." She nods with a curious look. I reached in my pocket and pulled out an empty bottle of "Mio Energy" water enhancer. Then walked out of the isle where the managers could see me. I shook the bottle in my hand and put it in my pocket. As soon as I did that I hear "loss prevention code seven" over the store monitor. Well I knew that was a bluff because the loss prevention guy doesnt come in til 10:30 it was 9. It was a scare tactic (we did it at Target). After a while I of being blatantly followed. I approached the guy, and said "Please stop following me!" All he said was the company line "can I help you find something" so again and again we repeated ourselves.Til finally he told me I was threatening him and needed to leave and never come back, or I would have a trespass against me.

At night there is only one lane and the heavy set cashier acts like she is bothered by people who will not use the self service check out & I gave her 2 coupons for 50 cents off each on the Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and she never rang it up. Then when after she completed the transaction she realized that she had not yet had not done it. Needless to say, I didnt get to use the coupons for the BBQ sauce and I didnt save any money. Meijers prices have increased a substantial amount to where I am doing most of my shopping at krogers. It used to be the other way around. I have shopped loyally at Meijer for over 20 years. I would Like to do all the shopping at Meijer, but unfortunately that is not going to be the case there Meijer Rewards program is so screwed up why should I have to work to save money I do enough working during the day I should be able to just take off of my information on that Meijer rewards card or hit my phone number and I should be getting discounts on everything that I purchased not go online and looking for savings and punching in numbers on my computer cuz I dont have that for one I dont have the time or anything else to screw with it. Its an overall bad program

Recently, I purchased a cellphone from the store that was defective. I was told that I couldnt return the item, and its posted on the customer service desk. I read the return policy, and saw no mention of cellphones. I discussed this with the store manager, and the more I disagreed with her, finally, she became extremely rude, and loud. I was told that this is not Meijer problem, its my problem. I called the head office and reported what happened, and was promised I could return the item. This was another falsehood. I made at least five attempts to resolve this issue, but the rude , unprofessional treatment escalated even further. I asked for employees names, but all refused. My final conversation, I told the Kokomo manager that due to their extreme way of treating customers rude and disrespectful, I would return the phone, and she, the " manager" could keep it and not refund my money. I dont need the money so bad as to be treated like dirt. Im in a biracial marriage, and no how people like her operate. Feel free to contact me if you have been treated in this manner. R Scott

I love this company for their products and promotions. Mperks is a great way to save money and get rewards for shopping there. Their brands of products are wonderful. Specifically, their baby related items such as wipes and pull-ups are even better (in my opinion) then name brand. I have a favorite store in another location that offers more deli/cafe options. This particular store in Kokomo is not as "fancy" as other locations, but very nice compared to competitor stores in the same area. Never really had a bad customer service experience, but I see what other people are saying about it not being consistent. I prefer shopping here over the Walmart across the street due to it being cleaner and far more organized.

I work as a route sales representative and I deliver to this Meijer. The store director is the most disrespectful person I have ever dealt with in all the stores I deliver to. I was delivering product through the front door which I have done numerous times before. He came up to me in front of several customers and started shaking his finger in my face and yelling at me telling me to never deliver through the front door again. All he had to do was take me aside and nicely tell me to go through the back door instead of causing a scene. This store is where I do most of my shopping. Not anymore.

Obsessed with this store! Please move down south! Definitely a one stop shop.. we came in for family BBQ supplies and left with all the food, liquor, a new shower head for my grandpa, a variety of K-cups for my grandma, new Colts and Irish gear for me, and a few small home decor pieces to surprise my grandparents. Cheap prices, yet much better quality than Walmart

This Meijer store is fantastic. They had a tornado warning and had to close all the registers down. They moved every into the freezers behind the milk. Then, they went so far as to provide blankets for anyone who was cold, exp. the little children and elderly. That spoke volumes to me. I will definitely shop here again! 5 stars in my book.

Excellent produce selection although some of the key items are overpriced they have a great selection of special priced items to balance it out. Not a large selection of clean eating items outside of the produce section but for what they have you can definitely achieve your goals to eat and live chemical free.

I love how this store has everything I need in one stop; groceries, fresh produce, school supplies, hygiene items, clothes, shoes, cleaning supplies, home decor, etc. I love having m-perks. It helps save money especially when I forget my coupons. I can even clip them from my phone right in the store!

I found a replacement for Targets blueberry granola here. Ill be coming here more often to stock up. They also had the style and size flip flop I wanted for my daughter. Everyone else is out of stock already. Thanks Meijer! I only gave 4 stars because non-sale priced are pretty expensive.

I love using my mperks for the pharmacy...I just cant stand to have to wait so long in the drive thru to pick up my prescription...I also love the shopping inside to get more mperks at the covenant check outs..I usually dont have to wait long inside..
