Ugh dear goodness! The guy whom checked me out was super sweet* HOWEVER THE *ACTING GM THERE IS AWFUL!. shes rude and speaks in a condescending tone. I asked two employees who happen to be walking by what the price was to an item they both* said $$.$$ I said ok thanks. The *acting gm* walks up and they ask her and she gives me the same number with an "I think" behind it...."her insurance policy". Now these items didnt have tags of the shelf. Get to the checkout And Im rung up the item is more than stated. The gm is up there and hears me tell the nice guy three employees just told me. $$.$$ and she walks over and says I told you "I think" thats what the price is. I asked well since you didnt know for sure can I have the price you quoted me? Nope! she said youll pay the price it rings up! If I hadnt had just drove 9+ hours fleeing a hurricane from south Florida she would have gotten a piece of my mind. But I was tired and my dog needed these items. So I bought them.( not having much money to spare) I know ill be contacting corp. About her attitude and lack of empathy or compassion. I know when I worked in retail, almost 5 years. I became a manager and if someone asked a question about price they were given an answer and if I happen to misquote them I made it right, no if ands or buts. I knew my store and my products it happened maybe 3 times within five years. Not saying Im perfect but I wouldve at least offered to price it if I wasnt confident in my answer or didnt want to risk a mark down or giving the customer a negative experience.

I used to shop at PetSmart more often, but their prices have become way too inflated. The food prices are okay, but as I can find similar prices elsewhere, its not enough to make a special trip for. The prices of their accessory items are ridiculous. I bought a scratching post at a box store for 19.99...it was 39.99 at PetSmart. Another item I bought elsewhere for 15.99 - at Petsmart 34.99. This store is too greedy.

Every single time we need a small pet our first choice is Petsmart. Here recently we visited and bought a parakeet for Christmas, the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and assisted us in picking out everything we needed for our new member of the family.

Your average big box store. Im bewildered as to why such a large chain cant sell cheaper than the small locally owned pet store I go to in town. The canned dog food I buy is almost twice as much here.

A nice, but small, petsmart. Staff are always friendly, but they tend to run out of some items. I recommend the location on Capitol Circle instead.

Great place. They have a large supply of pet foods and toys. You can buy small animals, birds and reptiles there also, but get ready to spend!
