I have had 2 bad experiences this year (2011) In April 2011, I went early in the morning to purchase a dodge truck because i needed more room for my 2 kids, and they had one i was interested in in my price range, A salesman approached me in the parking lot, i asked to see the inside, and test drive it. He turned around to go get the keys, took a few steps, turned back and said it was sold..... HUH! Well then he decided to show me Coupes, and other vehicles i was not interested in, i explained my price range, and that i needed 4 doors, he basically did not listen. So i left and spent the entire day going to each dealership in Baton Rouge looking for a 4 door truck i liked, NO LUCK. At 6pm I passed on my way home, the same truck was in the same spot, i pulled in, stood by it and was approached by a NEW salesman, he grabbed the key and let me test drive it. Apparently the FIRST salesman was more interested in HIS COMMISSION, than my CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! I was sold the truck by 8pm that night. September 2011, I saw a car i was interested in for me and my husband, we inquired on the price, they said about 29K, so i decided we would get some finance and insurance quotes first, the next day the internet price was 27k! so i quickly called and asked why we were told 29k and the internet says 27k. they said it was a "MISTAKE, A COMPUTER GLITCH, HUMAN ERROR" gave me every excuse in the book! They quickly changed the price to 29k again, called me back and said they corrected the "mistake" and for law suit purposes they would "HONOR" the "MISTAKE" price if i bought the car "TODAY".... I was very worried about this, i felt it was a sales tactic, and i still couldnt get any answers on the "SUSPENSION SERVICE DETAILS" previously done... I waited, the next morning the price was back as 27k! I called the salesman and told him i felt they were dishonest, i was no longer interested, 10 minutes later the car was back at 29k. I was so irritated by this, i asked to speak to the general manager, he called me, and basically treated me like a worthless person. I was highly irritated by this price game they were playing considering the wasy i was treated the first time, and here it goes a second time! I asked him to get me the details from the previous owner on the suspension, they waited 4 hours and a salesman called me back instead of the manager, said they couldnt reach them, and the car was being sold as we spoke. BASICALLY, THEY DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THEIR USED VEHICLES, AND IF THEY CAN RIP SOMEONE ELSE OFF WITH THE PRICE THEY WILL. THEY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE COMMISSION, NOT YOUR HAPPINESS, OR HONESTY. I WISH THE OWNER MR. P. RALPH SELLERS OR MAX SELLERS WOULD LOOK AT THE REVIEWS THEY ARE GETTING!! THIS DEALERSHIP NEEDS AN OVERHAUL, THEIR CURRENT STAFF IS RUDE, SHADY, AND OUT TO SCAM! AS OF TODAY, I WILL NEVER BUY A VEHICLE THERE AGAIN, NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!

Wednesday, August 19, 2015 I had an excellent customer service experience at Ralph Sellers. My vehicle search began in Denton, Texas - where I live - at my local Jeep dealership about two weeks prior to the purchase date for the 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk in Glacier Metallic. I was interested in two equipment groups for the vehicle which unfortunately could not be located within the search radius of my local dealership. My only option, it seemed, was to place a custom order and wait 8-12 weeks to have it imported from Italy. After doing a Google search I located the vehicle I was interested in at Ralph Sellers dealership. To my surprise, it was an exact match to the specs and trim I was looking for. When I questioned my local dealership (Classic of Denton) about this find, they told me that Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealerships have a search radius of about 250 miles (which is true). Any vehicle found outside of this range incurs a transportation fee (separate from the destination fee), which is then passed onto the buyer. In my case, it was going to be approximately $800-900 to have this vehicle shipped on a flatbed truck from Ralph Sellers to Classic of Denton. Eager to purchase before another buyer, I called Ralph Sellers and was put in contact with Joey - who I can’t say enough positive things about. We made the arrangements over the phone and after finding affordable airfare I flew in to New Orleans, rented a vehicle from Enterprise and drove to Gonzales where the dealership is located (and where there just so happens to be an Enterprise 6 minutes from the dealership - convenient!). Joey was there on time to pick me up from Enterprise. We went to the dealership, test drove the car, I signed the papers and I was on my way home. No fuss, no nonsense, no hidden fees. It was one of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had and I would highly recommend requesting Joey if you’re shopping for a vehicle at Ralph Sellers. Excellent customer service all around. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

I wish I had never purchased a Chrysler . I bought a 2016 Chrysler 200 in Nov of last year. It is a death trap. I have taken it to Ralph Sellers 2 times and of course they said there is nothing wrong with it. The car looses power while driving, but of course its always the computer. The car has a burning odor, oil life went from 89% 30 26% in a week. I am working with a case manager that has tried making an appointment with another dealership and they would have an excuse. I took it upon myself went to another Chyrsler, dodge dealership. The service people were nice. The service worker asked the service manager to come speak with me. I told him of the issues and he said oh wow he stated he was 2 weeks behind but he can schedule something then, when he asked where I purchased the car from, and when I said Ralph Sellers his reply was we cant touch that car nit even a oil change. He said take it back to them. I get the same response from all of the dealerships. So if Ralph Sellers doesnt stand behind their products and chrysler doesnt. Where to you get help from. I went to the dealership a few days ago to speak with Shane and I waited 10 minutes. This man passed by me as if I didnt exist. What kind of people would treat a customer like that. I will contact every newspaper, media or whatever I can. Do to get this problem solved. 8 months. I am heart broken to see how they take advantage of women but guess what if I have to stand out there with a sign, Dont buy a car from these people and please dont purchase a Chrysler. This has really broken me down. Poor poor customer service.

Would not recommend. Had an agreement in principle for an even trade for a 2016 (leftover) Jeep Cherokee. E-mailed back and forth with salesman and he spoke to his sales manager who said they could do it, but would, of course, need to see my vehicle first - be he assured me he wouldnt ask me to drive from Mandeville to Gonzales unless he could. I made an appointment and drove out. The Cherokee had 50 miles on it and the performance gauges showed that someone had taken it out to do 0-60 and 1/4 mile test runs. They spent over an hour trying to figure out my trade (despite already having the VIN and pictures from previous email traffic). I asked what the delay was since I thought we were already close and the salesman informed me that the sales manager that had made such an agreement was off for the day, so I had a different one. While I was waiting, I overheard another customer get up and leave because the sales manager was low-balling him $3000 on his trade, so I knew it wasnt looking good. After an hour and a half of waiting, my salesman returned with the numbers. Not only were they not honoring the internet price of the vehicle, they low-balled my trade in value and wanted me to pay $6400. Thank you, Ralph Sellers, for wasting my time with your BS tactics. I cant imagine anyone falls for such nonsense. I do not recommend this dealership.
